I really enjoyed this story more than I normally enjoy Leslie's books. They're always good but this one was superb, because of the tension inherent in her false identity and being married to a man who thought that she was someone else. I really liked this a lot.
Even thought Isabella feels guilty about continuing to impersonate her twin sister,Roxanne, after her death, she still needs the money for her mother's cancer treatments. Isabella has loved Feraz from the beginning. Feraz sees a difference in his wife, but wonders if the pregnancy has changed her. I received a copy of this book from the publisher through Netgallery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. This is a fun, quick read. I enjoyed it.
4.5 stars. I really liked this book, it had the background drama of a good old HP, but without the Hero being an A$$. The characters were very nice, and decently developed in this quick read. Given that this was from the "Sheikh's Meddling Sisters" I expected more meddling from them. The ending did resolve a little quickly, maybe it needed a nice epilogue. Overall, a very good quick story. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Fake or Fate?
While twins are intertwined this story in her series is also a stand alone.
As twist & turns flow thru the story makes you wonder what will it be now?
While love cures all what will happen when he finds out all is not as it seems?
Leslie North has another hit on her hands with this series. Well written & very entertaining as well as kept me reading word after word to find out what happens next, Will there be a happy ending? That is what kept me reading from one page to another the story gripped my interest & peeked my curiosity of what would be next!
Now I am off to get the other books in this series, you can not go wrong as an enticing & delighting read!
It was okay.
I am not keen on sibling's getting involved with the the ex but it was tastefully done.
I have read the author before so I knew she was going to be 'safe'.
Identical twin Isabella pretends to be her dead sister who was married to Sheikh Feraz Nazrani of the Arab country of Djeva. Having gone through IVF to give the Sheikh an heir, Isabella finds herself in Djeva not certain she can go through the masquerade. Not only that, they Feraz will discover she is very much in love with him. Winning his family over will require a huge undertaking and when surprises and secrets are revealed, Isabella knows she could never leave her “husband”.
A great conclusion to another hit series by Leslie North.
Well that was a quick read! Loved this series and this being the final book in the Meddling Sisters series, I'll say I swooned, hoped for the best, got angry and at some point enjoyed the chemistry between Isabella and Feraz. Whereas she's polite and puts others needs before hers, Feraz is used to being in control, and the two even out each other. Thanks NetGalley for the eARC.
Well this book was a bit crazy!
Isabella under goes IVF for her twin sister. While pregnant, her sister dies and she is stuck playing 'the role' of her sister for a lifetime now. Feraz is her sister's husband who she must pretend to be married to since she doesn't want him to know they lied to him. She has always secretly loved her sister's husband and his family, but held back since her sister was married to him even though she constantly cheated on him and only married him in a con.
Feraz is no idiot though and notices his wife seems different - more caring, shy and loving.
This was a sweet romantic story and can be read on its own.
I tried but didn't like, The Sheikh's Pregnant Fake Wife. From the description, I knew that Isabella was not Feraz's wife. She is the identical twin sister of his wife.
The bitterness that is shown for her twin sister, Roxanne, is awful. Even when he thinks that Isabella is Roxanne he seems almost hateful about the old Roxanne. I felt sorry for Isabella throughout the whole story.
