Who Created It? by Kay Arthur and Janna Arndt is a simple introduction to inductive Bible study. It is recommended for ages 4-7. I have a seven year old and I think this study is way too young for him. I think it is perfect for the lower end of this range. That being said, I still think it is a wonderful resource for parents of very young children. What a great way to introduce them to Bible study! I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.
I love the idea of introducing inductive Bible Study at an early age! As a Christian who grew up in a Christian home, but never really learned how to study the Bible inductively, I think this book is a great resource for Christian homes! I think it could be done alone by young readers or together with a parent of an early reader (kindergarten and up). It's an 8 week study (5 days/week) walking through Genesis 1.
I appreciate how each lesson emphasizes the importance of praying before ever beginning time in the Bible. It's a great habit to instill in at a young age because it is so vital.
I think this book would be great for visual learners, as it involves coloring, highlighting and marking shapes over certain words. Each lesson includes beginner reading activities, and "fun" activities like word searches and other word activities.
The book is based on two characters and their dog, learning how to read and study the Bible together. The short readings that are not the actual Bible lesson are cute and I can see how they would be fun and appealing to younger children.
I will definitely consider purchasing the paper version of this book for my sons when they are at the appropriate age. It's a great resource for reading, and more importantly, learning how to study the Bible!

Religion/beliefs, is a tricky and sometimes hard subject to introduce your kids to.
I’m actually in that boat right now. We recently started teaching our kiddos (4,6 and 7 years old) about the Bible and our beliefs. Of course, sometimes you get confused and don’t know how to engage their learning. THIS MAKES IT SO EASY! With simple bible verses, and by making it more interactive with you and your kids. I appreciated the notes and advice for parents in each section (especially the beginning) on how to get the most out of this book and teach your children in a way they are able to retain these teachings.
Kay Arthur and Janna Arndt have written a easy to understand Bible devotional for children to start a study of Genesis. Who Created It? Genesis 1 has eight weeks of short daily devotionals with activities such as word puzzles, fill in the blank and coloring pages. It covers the first two chapters of Genesis along.
I appreciated the emphasis on the Word of God, the simple straightforward explanations and friends Cooper and Callie and their dog Kate. It is more than a study of creation, in that it teaches children how to study the Bible. I loved the introduction which said, “The Bible shows us WHO God is, WHAT He does, and HOW we can know him and do what is right.” Wonderful resource for elementary school age children.
This is a good book for teaching the Inductive bible study and how to develop a good devotional habit to children. It would also be helpful for teaching a beginner reader how to read.
Who Created It uses memorization, interrogative questions and interaction to teach the inductive study method. The book encourages children to use arts and craft and play to learn God's word.
Over the course of 8 weeks readers cover the account of creation in Genesis 1:1-2:3.
Know God: We learn that God is the Creator and worthy of our praise.
Know yourself: Children learn that they are special because they are created in God's image.
Run your race: The characters Callie, Cooper and Kate show that it is possible to integrate the study of God's word and an appreciation for Him in every aspect of our lives.
“Who Created It?” is a part of a fun new Bible learning series for kids aged 4-7. In this book, readers follow Cooper, Callie and their doggy Kate on an exciting quest for Bible knowledge. Incorporates all learning styles to produce an entertaining educational experience for each child. From the authors and ministry of the bestselling Discover 4 Yourself Bible study series for kids (over 850,000 copies), created to help children learn and love God's Word at an early age.

God uses the Bible to teach us The Bible shows us WHO God is, WHAT He does, and HOW we can know Him and do what is right.
Many years ago after completing my first Kay Arthur bible study, I gleamed an appreciation for the bible and what it means to me. Redemption is God's story and the studying the bible helps us to see and teach who God is and what he is doing. That He is faithful.
This bible study is geared to be done with your children. This is for young children and depending on your child's limitations, I think you could start this bible study as early as 6 years old. Get your colored pencils out because your child will be learning WHY, WHO, WHAT - all in colored fashion and note taking markings. You child will learn how to study the bible.
With friends Cooper and Callie and their dog Kate, the adventure begins. This is an engaging study, using all your child senses. Each day ending with an activity to bring in the point of WHY, WHO, and WHAT. Now is a great time to get started learning the bible together!
