Miss Bingley Requests is a variation of the classic Pride and Prejudice that is written from Miss Bingley’s point of view. Miss Bingley was a largely unsympathetic character in the original, but the author of the sequel does a fine job of developing Miss Bingley’s character in a way that makes her actions more understandable and makes her more sympathetic. This is a truly unique take on an old classic.

Let's face it, Caroline Bingley is one of the most interesting chracters in Pride and Prejudice, and for this very reason, I was very curious to read a book written from her perspective.
The concept itself is thus intriguing and full of potential, but for me, Judy McCrosky just couldn't recreate or evoke the genuine Janeite world. Jane Austen is hard to equal or surpass, so the task was definitely not easy - but I just didn't get those Regency vibes from reading Miss Bingley Requests.
It is a nice book to pass the time with, but it couldn't become a favourite with me.
