International Guy Volume 2
Audrey Carlan

Milan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s been a little while but I’m glad yo be back in with Parker, Skylar and the IG team. If you haven’t read the 1st Volume in this series, you should definitely start there. There is a lot of story, that although is different city with different clients, the past of International Guy front man, Parker Ellis continues throughout.

Today Parker was heading to Milan, to help with a fashion show for real women’s lingerie. I loved this story, gone are the days where models are stick thin, and Parker and Bo are walking into a storm of nerves and drama. Wrangling an over zealous designer and nervous real women means the International Guys will pull out all the stops. Showing women what they really are was a beautiful message, received loud and clear.

While Milan is the story of fashion, Parker and Skylar continue their tumultuous relationship. While she’s hours away, dealing with the press and Parker’s job on top of her own movie filming comes to a head. Parker wakes up to the fact that Skylar is more than a roll in the sheets, she’s someone very special. Watching 1st hand their relationship growing is so nice. Even when your famous life and love doesn’t come easy, even for The Dreammaker.

San Francisco
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow San Francisco was a rollercoaster, with a triple loop followed by a twisted double loop… As each of these series open up we discover more about International Guy, the men who run it and their intertwined lives. In all the other stories, Parker Ellis has played the lead roll, as the face of IG, he is who you read the story through. But in San Francisco, it is partner Royce who plays a larger roll. He is the brother from another mother, and shoulder deep in a crush on their newest client.

But while they find the delightful Rochelle Renner is looking for her own arm candy, while having a little taste in the side of Royce, she has bigger problems. RFS has a insider stealing money from the company, so Royce and Parker set to find their mole. It while they tackle that mammoth task, Parker is caught out with a super upset Skylar.

Their relationship has been an up and down affair from the beginning, but as it has progressed so have their feelings. From a company owner and a famous movie star, they have progressed to “like a lot”, so when Skylar’s past rears it’s ugly head with terrible circumstances, Parker will have to divide his time. His company or his woman….

But even to the last page, you’ll be guessing the trouble Skylar is in and the affects they have in Parker and their relationship. Let me say, you’ll want to devour this story in one sitting.

Montreal
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

OMG. An I give like 100 stars. This is THE best in the series yet. I’m not how to review it without blowing everything that happens. So let me say, you MUST read all the previous oks in this series before you start Montreal, or you will be seriously missing.

Once again it is all of the IG men and much loved secretary and tech genius Wendy take on
Stanton Cybertech and a company mole hell bent on bringing the, down. Alexis Stanton is “sex on legs” and the last thing Parker needs after the betrayal of Skylar. But finding the one responsible is a whole new problem. Digging through staff, interviewing each member and inputting Wendy into the mix as a spy only creates more issues.

Parker throws everything into this job, while pushing Skylar away. He’s devastated and ruined by the woman he fell in love with. But as his past issues overcrowd is current work life it leaves them open to the mole. Right to very end, you will be guessing who it is and the ultimate outcome. ((Enter gasps and throwing objects right to the very last page))). I cannot wait for International Guy 7 – London. Gotta know what’s happening next…..

The end… for now…

I was excited to be able to read the second volume of International Guy. I absolutely loved it and it left me wanting more. The book centers on Parker Ellis and his two coworkers who run a business that help anyone solve an arrange of problems for the right amount of money. In International Guy: Milan, International Guy goes to Milan to help a designer get ready for his cutting edge lingerie show using real world people for the runway instead of models. However due to the scandalous and sexy designs of the lingerie, the women are struggling to embrace their sexy. We also get to continue to watch Parker and Skyler's relationship continue to bloom. In International Guy: San Francisco, the men head to San Francisco to find their new client a man. Rochelle is the head of a financial company and loves her job more than anything. However, she wants to find a man so she can have a child and someone to pass down her legacy to. Will International Guy be able to find someone that can handle Rochelle? Parker and Skyler's relationship is continued throughout this book and ends with a twist. The last novella, International Guy: Montreal, has the crew going back to Canada to help Alexis find the person who is sabotaging her company. Not only is her competitor releasing her products a couple weeks before her, but information from her coding is being changed or deleted. Meanwhile, Parker is still trying to figure our what is going on with Skyler. I found this volume to be a fast read. I didn't want to put it down. While I did find one of the plot lines predictable, I still wanted to keep reading. I cannot wait until the next volume is published.

Parker, Bo and Royce are the face of International Guy. Volume 2 focuses on three new cities, Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. Each city is full of new and exciting things for the guys.

In Milan, they have to help a designer and his models put on one hell of a fashion show. San Francisco the guys are helping a company CEO find her husband. Montreal they are helping another CEO find out who the spy in her company his. Each city full of drama and plenty of steaminess.

Throughout all three cities the relationship of Parker and Skyler. Their relationship has been a fun roller coaster and one that I would love to continue on throughout the series. #SkyParkForever

I hope that Bo and Royce also find someone to be their one in 7 billion. They deserve happy endings. Wendy, I love that girl, she needs her own story!!

Overall, I did enjoy the book and I look forward to reading more of them as they are released.

In Milan, you start to get a better idea of how well rounded International Guy is. They can help in so many capacities! It's so cute to see how Parker and Sky have jealousy streaks. With the lives they lead, I can see that being a recurring theme. It takes a lot of trust to have a long distance relationship. The bond Parker has with his coworkers and friends is enviable. I was smiling through most of this story!

San Fran-Things get really serious in this book. Not only do we start to get to know one of the men of International Guy better (finally- and hello Mr. Chocolate awesomesauce), but there's a new problem Sky and Parker have to face. Their relationship is nothin but problems and they need to work on their reactions to everything! This ends on a low note, unfortunately.

Montreal- Things are getting way intense in this installment. Parker was making me mad! First of all, this dude is letting his past cloud his judgement. Plus, he's such a mess, he's not thinking clearly or making good decisions. Then there's a shocking twist! I wonder if this is the direction the International Guy series is headed in and how many books there will be.

In the 4th, 5th and 6th instalments of this fantastic new series, the boys from International Guy Inc. head off to San Francisco, Milan and Montreal, with drama and mayhem destined to follow in their wake.

These fast moving stories are jam-packed with so much momentum; it’s mind-boggling. Just to scratch the surface there’s a strained friendship, professional matchmaking, deceit and betrayal, crippling heartbreak, cyber espionage and bone chilling tragedy. If all this doesn’t grab your attention, I’m not sure what will.

Once again Ms Carlan has left this reader reeling from the overload of emotions and wondering how I’ll survive until the next exciting instalments are released!

AUDREY CARLAN
MILAN: INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 4
5 Stars

“Live your truth.”

When you are reading this series 5 Stars is just not enough! This has become one of my all time favorite series. I love the characters, writing style, the emotions that come from the reading and of course the guys! I patiently (drumming fingers, pacing, constantly refreshing the screen) awaited Volume 2’s release...as expected...I was NOT disappointed!

“Firsts should always be sealed with a kiss.”

This book continues with the brotherhood, loyalty, empowering women through Milan (which I loved), humor, self discovery and some steaminess.

“Home isn’t always a place. It’s a feeling.”

Headed to San Francisco Next...I actually just vacationed there a few months ago so I’m hoping I can visual the story from a different perspective.

SAN FRANCISCO:
INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 5

“Love is tricky; it doesn’t follow rules and regulations, and people don’t wear signs over their heads saying ‘compatible.”

Ahhhh this series keeps getting better. The more you get to know the IG’s the more they seem like close friends and family. You feel you are a part of their story. You hurt when they hurt, laugh with their humor and want to revenge the hurt bestowed upon one of them or someone they care for.

“...this is family. When one of us gets hurt, all of us get hurt.”

This book is filled with twist and turns. Just when you think you have a handle on everything the story takes you on a different journey. You will be cheering, hurting, laughing, angry, hopeful, praying for revenge and even healing.

“Nothing in life is smooth sailing. Sometimes we have to make our own waves in order to move forward.”

I’m looking forward to MONTREAL: INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 6. I’m hoping it includes some of the storyline that was in San Francisco and brings some insight to certain characters (sorry no spoilers from me)!

Want.What.You.Have

MONTREAL: INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 6

“I thought she was mine. I held all of her beauty and what I believed was her soul in my heart.”

This series gets better with each book. I’m not sure if it’s solely the storyline or you feel you know the characters more from the previously developed stories...you want them to be your real life friends and chosen family.

“Your mouth is coming up with all kinds of excuses, but your body is responding to me.”

This book had me an emotional mess. Of course there is humor intertwined in the devastation, betrayal, suspense and mystery that Montreal brings to us.

“And like all dreams can do, mine so easily turned into a nightmare.”

I’m looking forward to the next adventure in London: International Guy Book 7!

Ok, I'm going to be totally honest and say that the first volume of this series whilst it was readable, left me feeling a bit unsure but I wanted to read this to see where it goes. Now I'm not too sure if this is because I was expecting it to be like the authors previous work but this instalment has made me love this series hard. All three books in this volume totally gave me all the feels, I went through every emotion possible whilst reading this book which to me is a sure fire sign of a top writer. There were plenty of twists and turns and a lot of them I had no idea they were coming!

Overall a brilliant read and I can't wait for the next instalment to see what happens next.

This series keeps getting better and better! In this volume the guys have three new cities all with very different clients to help. In these installments, Parker and Skylar make an attempt at a real committed relationship, and we really get a chance to learn more about the family that IS International Guy Inc.
Milan has Parker and Bo working hard to empower women from all walks of life to find their beauty within and own it. San Francisco gives us the chance to get to know Royce, and see the brotherhood between him and Parker. Montreal had the whole International Guy team working together including Wendy. I loved seeing more of Wendy and how she fit into the fold. Parker and Skylar’s relationship was tested throughout this volume, and Montreal had some twists I was not expecting! I can’t wait for the next installment. Once you pick this one up, you won’t put it down!

#5 SAN Francisco - this one was a roller coaster ride and I was hooked from beginning to end! This book was everything and that ending? Holy crap! I can’t wait to dig into the next one and see what happens. Omg I’m hoping it’ll be fixed!!

#6 Montreal - I read this book in less then 3 hours. I can’t get enough and couldn’t put it down. After #5 I needed more! And damn a cliff hanger! At least one problem was solved, sort of. Can’t wait for the rest!!

This is such a great second volume to this series. I like how these books are well written and the characters are great as well.

Audrey Carlan more than outdid herself on this book. It deserves more stars and more accolades than can be given. In Milan, she again shows the empowerment of women and how beautiful any woman can be. If you pay close enough attention you can catch that message in all of these books. In SanFranscisco you start meeting the other people of International Guy, Royce who is GQ smooth and always has Parkers back. In Montreal, we learn more about the beloved assistant Wendy and her life. Throughout it, Parker and Skyler make an attempt at there relationship. The last book Montreal was incredible it gutted me in the best way and surprise at every turn. This a book and Series that must be read and is highly recommended. When a book can show you emotions from laughing to crying to wanting to high five a character I call that a pretty good book.

4.5 Stars

Parker, Bogart and Royce started their International Guy company right after college. It's a company to help women reach their full potential in the job or in life. Like for example the current client is a fashion designer in Milan who needs help with his 'normal' models. He created a line of lingerie for every woman out there. Small, large, big, all of them. But they're all untrained civilians. Our guys come in to help them walk down the runway. Be confident. Proud. Whatever is needed to make that fashion show a success.

That's Milan. Next up is San Fran to find a husband for a finance executive and then we'll go to Montreal to find a spy in a software company.

And all through those jobs Parker is in love with Hollywood superstar Skyler. Book #3 ended a bit shaky for our darlings, but everything is back on track ... for now. The paparazzi, jealousy, exes, fears and both their jobs are not making it easy ....

What will happen to Parker & Skyler & the rest of International Guy in these 3 stories???

READ THE BOOKs TO FIND OUT! ☺

══════════════════════════

Well, that was so much better than the first three books. OK, the first ones weren't bad at all ... We had to get used to those guys and everything they are and do and want and say. They're still a bit frat-boy-ish in the way they talk and act. But they're also very talented in what they do and I really love that.

And I love the Parker-Skyler love story. #SkyPark ♥
All very adorable and erotic and frustrating! I hope it's not going back and forth between those two all through the 12 books!!! I want them happy and together.☺

And I want the other 2 guys to find their HEAs too!

I can't wait for the next book!

I really like how Audrey tells us a bit about every city we're in. Missed that a bit this time.
I'm excited to see what will await us in the next stories!

Oh - a tiny thing I don't love. What is it with all the HOW'S ABOUT??? I would understand it if one of the guys would use how's about as the first words of a question (how's about we don't do that!), but others use it too! Is that a dialect from wherever Audrey is from? So very weird!! ☺ The whole talking thing is a bit weird in this book. They all talk weird! ☺

INTERNATINAL GUY, VOL II was a great 2nd book in this series. Erotic, fun, frustrating, exciting, adorable. ☺ Run to your nearest amazon for your own Parker, Bogart & Royce - they will be sold out in no time!!! I just adore those guys! Even though they might deserve a few slaps here and there. ☺

Not as good as the first one. It felt like it was missing something through out the first two books and it finally picked up at the end after all the drama. Hoping the Third Volume will make up for this ones lackluster performance. Forever team Skyler and Parker.

Volume 2 of the International Guy series include three new cities, three new clients and three new opportunities for hurdles to be placed in the groups way. The last book left off with Skylar overhearing a conversation that Parker had with Sophie and took off sooner than she needed to without confronting Parker about what she heard. The underlying romance between the two carries through ever city this volume covers and communication and trust becomes the most important tool they use to survive the media, distance and time apart. First the first time the client in Milan is a man, but the people that Parker and Bo have to help are females. San Francisco has Roy wide=eyed and smitten with a like minded number loving client who needs to find a mate and the signs point to fraternization potential. More road blocks are placed in Skylar and Parkers path and it is so painful if patience was innate in everyone, but since it is not, their story is rife with more miscomputation and pain. Parker is going to need to exercise his demons to get to his happily ever after. Thanks to Montlake Romance and netgalley for the opportunity to be an early reader to this continuation of an amazing romance series.
