Very intriguing love story! Set in medieval times of Kings,Dukes, and Earls. Lady Annabelle is very accomplished young lady of marriage age. The adventures and misadventures of finding her a proper suitor is not easy. It is a very proper time in history when parents pairing of their children doesn't always meet the children's expectations. Fast moving story line and would be enjoyed by anyone that enjoys historical fiction

A time travel to the medieval era. Emily paints history with marvelous descriptions and interesting characters. A good choice to read during the weekend.

This was a well-written, interesting book set in medieval England and France. Annabelle grows up in Calaise, where her father is the closest counsellor and architect to the Duke. The King of England then calls the family back to court in England, where Annabelle is assigned a governess and a tutor to educate her. This book includes politics, science, love, romance and friendship. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.
