Is it fair to judge a book by the writing style? Shouldn't the plot be more important than the lack of editing, head-hopping, typos, and horrendous punctuation? Some might say yes. However, as a reader easily tossed out of a story by all of those things, I disagree.

It's like buying a brand new car with defects and being told not to worry, it drives okay. However, every time you find a new dent you become more and more irritated.

There are many things about this book that make it reek of a debut novel. To discover it's number 4 in a series is mind blowing. For the author to continue stumbling on, I can only assume others are digging this series...more power to them.

Personally, as this book stands, I can't recommend it.
