I think this one is the funniest book in this series! I love Ariel! Kiss the girl is the new version of Little Mermaid where Ariel is a Mouthy and kick-ass heroine who runs a home stripping business with her two best friends!
The chemistry and love between Ariel and Eric is just amazing and you can't help but laugh around rolling when the two banter!

Eric is the perfect hero for Ariel as I can't think of anyone else being able to handle and love Ariel's sarcastic and mouthy self!

Love this Rom-com. Totally recommend it!♥️

Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec is the third book in The Naughty Princess Club series. I love this book so much. It is so well written and will make you laugh and make you swoon. It is a really sweet love story. I highly recommend this book. This author never disappoints.

Cindy and Belle each had their turn in the limelight with their stories. Now, it is Ariel's turn. What a story it is. It is full of second chances, sex, humor, and a sphynx cat named Derrick. Fans of Once a Upon a Time television show will thoroughly enjoy this series. This book ends this series which I am sad to see end. However, I had fun while it lasted.

Eric is not the clueless guy that is portrayed from the Disney movie. No, he is all sorts of sexy. He does lose a few brownie points with me due to him being a cat lover but I guess I can forgive him. Derrick is cool but I agree with Ariel that he is freaky too. I am not just talking about his appearance.

While, this is Ariel's story, I am still glad to see Cindy and Belle make appearances as well. When these three get together, tons of fun is guaranteed to come out. Oh, and yes Eric did "Kiss the Girl".

I loved this series so much! It is just pure fun. The interactions, the dialog, and the people around Arial and Eric are also so clever and fun. It turns out the tough take no prisoners girl is the one that needs the most reassurance and love. Ariel may have a desire to do everything alone and be independent, she may also have a good sense of how high her self esteem should be and how much she is worth, but after being emotionally beat down and taken advantage of, maybe a little help from Eric is the best that could happen to her. Eric is the best! He knows just how to treat her, how to be patient, he values what is important and doesn't give up. He knows that to help a spitfire like her he would need a different strategy other than the direct one. In the meantime he will also show her that letting him love her will only make her life better. The fact that he does all this by arguing with her and provoking her into bickering just makes it more entertaining. They both have a lot to give and they will both do it while fighting for control. I laugh out loud, no doubt making people around me wonder what I was reading. What more can you ask for?

This was my first book by Tara Sivec and I have to say a very different experience for me. I've never read a romance novel like this one. I would definitely have to say this a different romance genre in my opinion.

And.... I would have to say wasn't really the biggest fan. Ariel had quiet the foul mouth on her... don't get me wrong I don't mind characters cussing but it was a tad too much for my taste and it turned me off to her character a lot.

I felt like I honestly was reading a Disney novel.. and I think this was the authors intent to have a spin off of Disney characters but ehhh this just didn't do it for me.

I don't think I'd read another book by this author. Just not my cup of tea. I also know nothing about the first 2 books in this series and feel like you need to have read the beginning of the series to have a full understanding of the books/author.

2.5 stars

Huge thank you to St. Martin's Press/Swerve and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This book is the third and I believe this is the conclusion to the series. The story is quite unique, because its a spinoff of the classic princess fairytale stories.

Many characters were mentioned and plays a vital role in this book, so I felt a little lost without reading the first book. I didn't mind reading the first book to get acquainted with the other characters prior, after all this book is quite refreshing and funny from beginning to end. After reading the half of the first book .... now I get what was the connection between Ariel and Eric.

Ariel is a strong, robust and most of all a potty mouth woman. She is also tough on the outside, but soft and lovable on the inside. Eric is the hot and handsome rich knight and shiny armor with a sphynx cat.

All in all this book is funny, laugh out loud and romantic most of all. I would recommend reading the first 2 books in this series to get all the fun and laughter.

1st Book: At the Stroke of Midnight
2nd Book: In Bed with the Beast

Thank you to the Author Tara Sivec, Netgalley and St Martin's Press for the ARC.

Now I'm heading off to finish the first book and if possible continue with the second book. Damn! I can't seem to stop reading these books.

I loved this book. It is a sweet story of how independent women can still fall in love, keep her friends a priority, and have the love and partnership of a man. Ariel can teach us all to stay true to ourselves and allow the right person to come along. This book will make you feel empowered and ready to kick ass.

I've been in this big fairy tale mood here lately. I jumped on it.
And one of the main reasons I did was because it's not a typical fairy tale. It's not really a fairy tale at all haha. It's a fun very lose spin on a classic story, but set in the very real regular world. And I loved it. These "princesses" are not your typical damsels in distress. And their "princes" are far from princely haha. But the story is so fun and will pull you right in. And I freaking loved Ariel. We have very similar views on dating, even if are situations are vastly different haha. But I just found myself relating with her character so much through the book.

And I love the fun play that Tara could do with such classic characters. I know I mentioned how it was a very lose interpretation. And that is honestly the best thing I can say to describe the resemblance between the original tales and this awesome series in general.
We get the basic gist of them, the same characters. And a very basic following of the original stories. And then just flip those all on their heads. And that was what was so fun.

I love the creativity that comes from that and how well it drew me in. I really was expecting to just kinda leisurely read through this book. And HA! No... Of course not.
I COULDN'T"T PUT IT DOWN! It turned into an all-nighter and I loved that. If a book can pull me in like that it is
definitely a...

I've been waiting for this one since the series started and Tara Sivec did not disappoint!

Ariel is bold, brash, and somewhat broken under the tough exterior. I really like the way Sivec was able to weave in the fairytale character names to actual people, while making each one unique.

Ariel and her potty mouth are a perfect match for Eric and his sweet, swooning whispers.

I've already read this twice and can tell there's going to be several more rereads!

This is the 3rd book in this series and this one was a laugh out loud rom com. I highly recommend this whole series and this book in particular. Such a fun read.

Wow!! This was one of the cutest, funniest, hottest books I’ve read in a while!

I think this was the first Tara Sivec book I’ve read and it’s the third book in a series, but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything by not having read the previous two books.

Ariel was an absolute delightful pleasure! Lol (once you read the book, you’ll understand!!)

I really enjoyed(? Loved?) this grownup, modern take on a childhood classic. Very creative and interesting to say the least.

Grab it today or start with the first book, Stroke of Midnight. You WON’T be sorry or bored!!

Ariel finds herself in a rough situation. Her worst fears are being realized and Eric is there to try and help her in any way that she will let him. Ariel knows that her self-confidence took a hit with her ex, but doesn't realize how much it messed her up until now. She begins to get back on her feet with the help of Eric, Cindy and Belle. Although Ariel will never be charming and soft-spoken, she will be loyal and help her friends out when needed.

Ariel regrets at points in this book how far she has helped Cindy and Belle come out of their shells. Her friends are now surpassing her in finding their happiness and Ariel is feeling left behind. Their hilarious antics were so funny at points that I had a hard time keeping my composure when in a public setting. I do not know where Tara Sivec comes up with some of her stuff, but it is so good.

Eric was sweet, kind and quite easy going. I liked how he let Ariel be herself and didn't try to change her. His character was well written and seemed quite perfect for Ariel. He was not a rich snob and I liked how he was quick to help out anyone who needed it. His relationship with Ariel was in no way smooth sailing, but he did put it all on the line for her when it counted.

I really enjoyed this book, as well as the whole series. It is meant to be a funny spoof on the fairy tales we were told as children. It was a nice, easy read and I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a book with some romance, with a lot of laughter mixed in.

I received an ARC from St. Martin's Press for my honest review.

This is so not a book I should have liked. Nothing about the description indicated that it would work for me. Why on earth did I read it? Curiosity. I wanted to see how a book loosely based on one of my favorite Disney cartoons would turn on. The answer ended up being pretty darn delightful. It was a light-hearted and clever story that was packed with humor.I laughed a lot. That being said - this book is not for everyone. Ariel uses profanity in almost sentence so if you are turned off by bad language, this is not for you.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ariel just might be my spirit animal. I so love The Naughty Princess Club. In Kiss the Girl you get plenty of laughs that Tara Sivec just has a magical knack of coming up with. Eric and Ariel have this love hate banter that leave you in stiches the whole way through. I love that we still have plenty of Belle and Cindy shenanigans mixed in with the sassy spunk of Ariel. Can we just talk about how hot Ariel and Eric are together because hello...Wait you need to read Kiss the Girl to really get the full effect. Wait until you meet others in this one that will have you saying 'oh no she didn't'. The Naughty Princess Club is a must read series. One of my favorites by Tara Sivec. Kiss the Girl hits all the marks an I wish I could give it more stars. Even though I don't want to let Belle, Cindy and Ariel go this is the perfect book. So folks hang onto to your seats, watch what you drink while reading and try not to pee your pants too much with this one. GO PICK UP NOT ONLY KISS THE GIRL BUT THE ENTIRE NAUGHTY PRINCESS CLUB SERIES.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

First of all, let me say I have enjoyed reading ALL of the 'Naughty Princess Club' books, but with saying that, I'm also sad this series is ending because I have fallen in love with all 3 of the girls. Ariel took a special place in my heart because she was so tough, from the beginning. I have loved reading her story, but I don't want to give anything away. All I will say is, you MUST read this book! I LOVE the couple Ariel and Eric make!

My first read by this author. It's billed as a standalone but I really think this would be much more enjoyable if you read the first two books. While the couples from the previous two books relationships/how they got together were explained, I immediately felt like I was missing part of Ariel and Eric's initial meeting and why she felt the way she did about him. I would recommend reading the first two books to fully enjoy this one.

I liked the writing and think I would have thoroughly enjoyed this if it were not for Ariel. We're introduced to her in the middle of an interview for a new roommate. The phone conversation she had in front of the potential roommate was ridiculous. The things she was saying! If I was the person sitting across the table from her I'd get the hell out of there. No reasonable person would stay. I thought her over the top personality only made worse by sooooo much swearing (and as my mom used to say I have a potty mouth so a prude I am not) was just too much and it didn't mellow out as the story went on. Her interactions with the police and the foreclosure was ridiculous. Like a grown woman attached herself to a porch pillar and yelled "Gattica" (when she meant Attica) at the cops all while telling them that she saw the THREE OTHER NOTICES warning her of the pending foreclosure but threw them away without reading them. What? She said horrible things to people and treated her friends and Eric like crap. There may have been abuse in her previous relationship, and I get where the author was coming from, but that does not give her the right to act and treat people like that.

Did I think this was well written? Yes! Would I try again with another of her books? Absolutely.

Oh my gosh this book is absolutely everything! I was really excited to read Ariel’s book. Reading about her through the series made me desperate for more. Her interactions with Eric are positively hilarious. My heart broke for her as she continued to struggle. Her dreams broken as she tried to make it through the day. Eric was always there ready to save the day no matter how many lashes he would suffer from her wicked tongue. Tara Sivec’s characters will touch your heart with a little bit of fantasy tossed in. This series is an absolute must read.

What a fun love story!!!

"The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments."

Well let me start by saying I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

I absolutely adored Eric and Ariel! They had this tumultuous and antagonistic relationship that was snarky, fun and sweet. I loved their bickering and Ariel’s comebacks. I loved their chemistry and simmering sexual tension. Ariel was so much more than I thought she'd be and I loved getting to know her. She's a bit mouthy and feisty but I loved seeing her softer side, it was awesome. Eric had to be the sweetest man ever, totally swoon worthy! Being there for Ariel as she worked things out, as she found her way to the strong woman she was meant to be. Their relationship was was sweet and sexy and explosive but it was also heartfelt and emotional.

Ariel, Cindy, and Belle. I loved them, their friendships, how they're their for each other and build each other up. There were so many empowering moments and I had this I am woman hear me roar feeling happening. It was so much more than a love story. It's about friendships, owning who you are and believing in yourself, being strong, people in, and surrounding yourself with goodness.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. This story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

I think a lot of people will love this book however I didn't. It's a really raunchy re-telling of Little Mermaid. The writing is good and the characters are fun. I just wasn't into raunchy princesses. Theres nothing wrong with this book at ALL but it's just not for me.
