Let me start by saying I am a fan of Tara Sivec's Chocolate Lovers series.
Unfortunately, I didn't love this book. It was well written, I just didn't get pulled into the story or really like any of the characters. Thank you to Net Galley for sending me a copy to review.
OMG! I loved this series of sweet, funny and sexy moments that make Tara Sivic such an amazing author.
This last one was the best one yet!
Is you enjoy loosely rewritten fairy tales, I wholly recommend this book. This series!
Another enchanting laugh out loud trip down Fairytale Lane✨
There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her
And you don't know why
But you're dyin' to try
You wanna kiss the girl 🧜🏻♀️

I absolutely love this series and I’m sad that this is the last book, but I’m excited to see what the brilliant Tara Sivec has in store for us next! Tara is the queen of the romcom, laugh out loud stories filled with snarky Heroines and swoon worthy heroes.... this series was a bunch of fun especially if you are a princess fan we got a Cinderella story, a Beauty and the Beast story, and now my favorite princess Ariel!
Ariel is feisty, fierce, and a bunch of fun! She is also about to be evicted not only losing her home but all her precious antiques...Eric is a handsome millionaire playboy who has always had a thing for Ariel... but Ariel is a proud self sufficient woman who does not want to be silenced again by a man.... so will Ariel be able to put aside her pride and take some help from Eric? Will Cindy and Belle be able to talk some sense into her?
The romance in the story is sweet and hot and spicy! BUT what I love even more is the friendship between these three ladies! In this book as in the previous books they are so supportive and there for each other... this is another thing Tara Sivec does so well there are always strong female friendships in her books that almost over shine the romance... friend groups that you would love to be part of... love to go out and have some drinks and fun with! But these are also the friends that pick you up when you’re down that show up on your door at two in the morning with a tub of icecream because some guy did something....
Such a wonderful whimsical story, absolutely recommend! Be sure you pick up this book with your sense of humor intact!
And they all lived happily ever after!
*** huge thanks to St. Martin’s Press for my copy of this book ***
When Ariel looses her house and all her antiques, she is devastated. But Eric, who is PJ's partner in the strip club, offers her a place to stay. He is a billionaire and lives on a huge yacht and has Ariel stay on his 2nd yacht next door. Ariel still is not over the humiliation and verbal abuse from her husband, and she has lost all her confidence. But Eric won't give up on her because he has been attracted to her since the day they met.
This is a hilarious spoof of the Little Mermaid. The mouth on Ariel is unbelievable and Eric is her match as his is almost the same. The situations they get into had me laughing out loud. If you are looking for a light hearted romance, then this is the book for you.
really liked this book. It's really well written
I voluntarily reviewed an Reader Copy of this book which I received through Netgalley.
I have loved this entire series and Kiss the Girl was probably my favorite. I loved the characters, I loved the banter and the quick wit and honestly Ariel has shone through as the star of the show the whole way through the books. I cannot say enough good about Tara Sivec's writing style. It's fun and the characters are exactly like people I'd be friends with in real life.
Kiss the Girl is fun, entertaining and sweet with a dash of spicy. The protagonists are all women, strong-willed and determined and also funny! The plot is steady and well-paced with a dialogue that's going to keep the reader on their toes.
I liked Ariel (the main protagonist) and enjoyed reading her story. She was funny and fresh, had a certain depth to her and we could easily follow her character development. I like characters who grow throughout a novel and she definitely did some growing. I also liked how she is not your typical, sweet, cutter-cookie heroine.
The book has its own kind of feminist flair and wasn't afraid to make its point clear, which I found refreshing. There was no point in dancing around the subject, so I welcomed Tara Sivec's idea to explore that particular topic. It was interesting to say the least. Of course, I didn't agree with everything - the female protagonists were portrayed a bit one-dimensional and were quite over-hyped. There are other two novels of the series centering on their stories - I get it. But I wished we caught a more well-rounded glimpse at them.
If you a big fan of this genre, I am sure you will find the novel right for you!
I have kindly received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley and St. Martin's Press in exchange of a fair review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I didn't read any of the previous books and while it might have helped, this was easy to read on its own. However, maybe reading the earlier books would have helped me like Ariel a bit more. She's bitter and jaded, which was fine, but her constant swearing was almost too much at times. I liked Eric and I especially liked Ariel's dad, but overall the book didn't live up to the anticipation.
I tried reading this entire series but I couldn't get into any of them. It was really hard to follow and felt all over the place. Like the author wanted to describe every little thing in the scene but didn't put the sentence together in a way to set it up. The characters were also really hard to like. I like other books by this author, just not this series.
This is my first Naughty-Princess Club book and I must say that I was highly entertained! The heroine, Ariel Waters may not be your sweet and blushing heroine, but she sure is unforgettable. With her sass and foul mouth, she will have you laughing out loud all through the book.
Ariel may seem like nothing can faze her, but it seems that her ex-husband’s condescending comments have played havoc on her self-esteem and no matter how hard she pushes herself, she just can’t seem to see how beautiful and sexy she is. That is until she meets Eric Sailor, a rich playboy who has set his eyes on the spunky redhead but is finding it incredibly hard to make her believe that he is trustworthy.
Eric Sailor has had his eyes on Ariel for a long time. But no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t seem to make her believe that he isn’t a use them and dump them kind of guy. So when Ariel is evicted from her home with nothing than a suitcase of clothes and her beloved fish, he offers her a place to stay. Will he finally be able to make Ariel believe in him and give him a chance?
A laugh out loud romance feast that will have you giggling all the way through. A true delight!!!
I couldn't put this book down. I couldn't wait for Ariel to get her happily ever after. It was time that Ariel got her prince! I absolutely love Tara Sivec's books and I absolutely ADORED this series! I wish there were more! 5/5
Kiss the Girl is the third, and final book, in the Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. I have read one, but not both, of the previous books. I think the romance can stand on its own, but those that have read the previous books will have a better understanding of the characters and their situations than newcomers.
A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world? While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way. When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find. But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together?
Kiss the Girl is charming and quirky, and a fun take on the Little Mermaid story. I love Ariel's character, she is outwardly strong and outspoken, but her bluster is meant to hide how insecure she really is. I could relate to her on several level- both in having escaped an abusive relationship and living the fake it til you make it lifestyle. I like how Eric saw through it but never took advantage of it, he liked her spunk and outspoke side and wants to help her be herself and find herself. He is occasionally sneaky, but never in a harmful way and always to do something that will support her. While I get annoyed with the "for her own good' actions because I would hate to be manipulated like that, it was well handled here. My only complaint is the same one I had for the previous book I read from Sivec is that I want to know what is going on in Eric's head. So often I wanted to 'see' some of the moments from his perspective. I also enjoyed story wrap ups included in the epilogue, giving me readers an extra look at all three princess's happy ever afters.
Kiss the Girl is a fun and highly entertaining read. The characters and interactions were great fun and it was engaging. I look forward to reading more from the author.

Well, well... This was the last book in "The Naughty Princess Club" series and it was simply delightful!!!
I have to admit that i haven't read yet the first book, but I'm working on that...
The rest of them were so enjoyable and hillarious!!! I had so much fun reading about those three crazy women and their crazy ideas!!!
But let's stick in this book!!!
"You always had it in you. I just helped you find it again."
Ariel was the last single woman in the bunch and the last one in this stripper club who hasn't taken her clothes off YET!!! Bahahaha...
She also is a mouthy, bitchy, wonderful woman who is adoring her antics, her ten fishes, her irritating girlfriends and who is hating Eric Sailor's guts from the first hello!!!!
Well, at this point Ariel is in a very difficult position since she is losing everything for once again and now, in order to leave her girls in peace, she has to accept living close to the enemy...
At the same point, her ex is still trying to get under her skin and are making everything a big mess!!!
And between all of that, Eric is growing on her, but she can not depend on a guy!!!! That idea infuriates her!!!
Eric from the other hand, doesn't backing down to a challenge and Ariel is a great challenge for him... He is determined to do anything to win her tough and wild heart!!! Her bitchy mouth is turning him on and her sexy curves are exciting him... He must win her at any cost...
Goga, flee markets, Derrick Alfredo's antics are some of his attemps to be with her and that was something funny and beautiful at the same time to witness!!!
But Ariel has more insecurities as you think!!! And she will have to fight for her future...
Eric will always be there for her, but will she open up her heart to him??? To love???
“Seeing you broken and hurting and sad is like having someone stick a fucking knife in my chest. I don’t like it. So I’m pissing you off because it brings me great joy to see you fired up.”
I loved Ariel and her bitchy attitude!!!! I loved Eric and his determination!!!
As i loved and all the rest of the crew!!! And God, I loved Anastasia... She was absolutely awesome!!!
And i loved so god damn much Ariel's father and his certain... Skills!!! LOL
Oh, i also liked very much the three epilogues at the end!!! It was the perfect closure in this funny ride!!!

You know you can't go wrong with one of Tara's comic romances and mix it with disney fairy tales.
"He . . . uh . . . likes the warmth. You know, since he doesn't have any hair and he's always cold. My dick warmth comforts him, sir."
Finally we get Arielle's story and of course she ends up with Eric. Even though she hated him throughout the last two books. But Eric loves Arielle's crazy and the only one whom can calm her down. Plus this series probably has the best parents in it. I loved the all the characters but each parental unit takes the cake.
"Can I least growl at him? Curl my lip and threaten him with my eyes? I just want him to piddle in his pants. Just a tiny bit,"
And in Kiss the Girl we also get a hairless cat. You know having that in a story line you can't go wrong.
Was going to be 3.5 stars but bump it up to 4 for the cat
I absolutely love this book. Amazing storyline and writing. Loved every second. Great book. Couldn't stop reading it.
3.5 stars, I think I was hoping something a bit different with Ariels story. I wished there was more banter between Eric and Ariel. I don't think I laughed as much as I did in the first book. I do love the play on the character names. Overall, this was a great series.
Tara never seems to amaze me with her wit, humor and masterful way she makes every read one I can't ever put down! I love her sassy take on classic fairytales fill with heart and feistiness. She'll always be a go to author for me!
This was, without a doubt, the most hilarious take on the Disney Princess stories! I was ecstatic every time a part of this story would tie to the Disney movie in some way: Ariel Waters, Eric Sailor, Mr. Triton (The C King!). 😂😂. Come on! That’s so creative! Plus, everyone has a crazy wicked sense of humor. The writing is really unparalleled.
5 stars!!!
Omg! This book was awesome. Read cover to cover because I couldn’t put it down. It has fun characters and a exciting plot which I absolutely enjoyed from start to finish. Really can’t wait to get my hands on other books in this series. I would definitely recommend this book to all book lovers out there
Quick(ish) Review
I was a little sad. Still kind of funny, follows the same formula for the first two books in the series, but perhaps my expectations were a little higher for Ariel. She was the scene stealer, but her HEA was just...fine. I wanted to love, but ended up only liking and nothing stood out.
