This is the third book in the series and though I did not read the other two I really liked this one. The lead character Ariel Waters has lost her business and is now losing her home because of her ex-husband which she has been paying spousal support to a guy who never worked. She is also fighting with a council women on the paperwork for their business that they started called the naughty Princess club. With everything crashing down around her, her two friends have found her a place to live and that is with Eric Sailor, who comes in and helps her and actually likes her. He also is a millionaire which she did not know about. The bantering back and forth between the two of them keep this story going from the opening page to the end. Yes if you don’t like cuss words or crud language this book might not be for you, me I grew up this way so it was normal and not a bother. I really liked both of the characters but also all of the characters. The author makes this story work of two people actually three women overcoming their bad relationships and becoming strong and finding men you want them for the way they are. A very good book.
Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec was a fun and very entertaining story. The characters are a great match they are hilariously fun and exciting. Ariel is a great character she has a bit of everything, she is a bit sassy, she is confident, a strong woman with a bit of a twist. Eric is all you want him to be, he has some great chemistry with Ariel they have such great bantering. This was an incredible story that I absolutely recommend. Hope you will enjoy this story as much as I did.
I'm new to this series and to Tara Sivec. Since I had not read the first two books, there were a lot of backstories I wasn't familiar with. It wasn't necessary to have read the others though to enjoy Kiss the Girl. I love the premise of women finding themselves and their strength. They're capable and taking charge. Also, fun was the use of the princess stories we all grew up with as the basis of the characters. I'm not familiar with the newer stories so I don't know much about Disney's Ariel but again it wasn't necessary to enjoy this story.
Though I didn't know the history between Eric and Ariel, it didn't hinder my understanding of their antagonistic relationship. Eric is obviously smitten with Ariel but her dislike for him prevents her from seeing it. He's so strong that he isn't the least bit threatened by her attitude, her mouth and her dislike of him. He knows she'll learn to love him and he's got no interest in changing her sassy, swearing self.
When she loses her house and everything in it, he steps up to offer her a place to stay. I'm sure he'd have done it anyway but he's more inclined since it'll give her a chance to see him as the man for her. He's so sweetly calm whenever she's at her worse. He's got her back but knows that stepping up to take charge for her is not what she wants or needs.
As the story plays out, Eric wheedles his way into Ariel's heart until she finally realizes she's madly in love with him. She continues to take on the challenges of getting the Naughty Princess Club up and running with all the proper permits and takes on even the biggest, most appalling, obstacle to her life, her happiness and her business - Eric's mother. And what fairy tale is complete without an evil woman?
There's plenty of comic relief in the story as well including a hairless cat, drunk princesses and much more. I laughed, I cried, I thoroughly enjoyed Ariel and her book.

This is the first time I'm reading this author. When reading the first page, I thought, this main character is really abrasive and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the time reading the book. I continued and ended up liking the book. Obviously, I have not read the other books in the series but didn't feel that detracted from this story, it stands on its own. It took me a moment when I realized her name is Ariel, the male lead is Eric, there's an Ursula....
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest, review left voluntarily.
3.5 Kiss the Girl Stars
A new spin on a timeless and classic fairytale, Tara Sivec's third installment in her Naughty Princess Club was a humorous and steamy romance. Full disclosure, this was my first read of the series, and the author did an incredible job in giving me great insight and background to these loony couples and their experiences.
Eric was a true prince charming and made this story for me. Sexy, comical, patient, I simply adored him. Ariel was quite the character. Strong-willed, extremely brash, a whole lot of sassy and overly dramatic, she was a bit to take in at times. Regardless, her antics and banter made me chuckle.
Overall, Kiss the Girl was a sizzling and fun read that fans are sure to enjoy!

Absolutely entertaining contemporary romance that is hilarious at times. This is the 3rd book in the Naughty Princess Club. I will definitely read the first two books. This story is about Ariel and Eric. Ariel is a mouthy divorcee who is trying to build a business to help her friends and herself recover from financial devastation. Eric has been known as a billionaire playboy. He deals with Ariel 'as is' and doesn't try to change her. Unfortunately, she has an unknown enemy. There are times I laughed so hard tears came. I received a complementary copy via Net Galley and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.
This title funny enough reminds me of a thriller I read, these books are nothing like. They're a bit silly, funny, sexy and a bit crazy. Ironically Ariel is not a favorite princess of mine but this one is the one I liked most out of the books. The Ariel here is feisty, outgoing, full of sass different than the other two. Exuberant and full of zest but she's had a tough time and been hurt. I also like this Eric better, he accepts Ariel, lets be herself and just wants to help her out. He cares a lot and wants to show it.
These books I will say even if they are loosely based on certain princesses, they more about the independent different side of them. It also has a strong friendship among these ladies, they didn't have it easy and worked for things. The relationship part just fell in at the right time. It took time and it showed how Ariel and Eric developed.
I honestly didn't know what to think of these at first but they are cheerful, charming, funny romcoms that the author is known for. In the end the stories have heart even in the cute dopppiness of it all. The three princesses get their fairy tale ending after all.
I really enjoyed this one. The characters were relatable, the story heartfelt and there was the added laugh out loud moments that Sivec is famous for!
I loved the Disney twist on these stories. It honestly doesn’t matter how old you are, you will always love the fairytales and I’m so glad Ariel got hers!

Even the feistiest gal can have a huge amount of heartache in her heart. For Ariel – being a part of the Naughty Princess club has been a way to mask all of the pain that she has felt about her past. A comfort that couldn’t quite fill the empty hole in her heart that founds its way there so long ago. After a series of events that left Ariel homeless, a true Prince stepped up to the plate and offered a hand when Ariel needed it most.
Eric has been around the ladies of the Naughty Princess Club for some time. So – he isn’t new to Ariel’s life. From the moment Eric met Ariel, he has let his attraction be known. Each turn in the road left Ariel spurning his advances, until they were kind of cohabitating. At least that is what you call it when a guy as sweet as Eric offers you the use of his boat. Ariel doesn’t want to fall for Eric and is determined to get his ‘cute dimples’ out of the equation.
With her future on the line, Ariel can’t help but be flattered by the way Eric handles her ‘situation’. Who wouldn’t love a Prince among the masses? As bits and pieces of Ariel’s past begin to come to light, Eric shows that he is determined to hang in there for the long haul. When the wind was taken out of Ariel’s sails, Eric finds a way to light up her life in the most hilarious and funny ways. Who wouldn’t love their own Prince??
Kiss The Girl is the latest installment in the Naughty Princess Club. This story uncovers all of the things that brought Ariel to the place she finds herself today. It certainly wasn’t an easy road, and it is plain to see why Ariel has reservations about having a relationship with Eric. This fun, flirty and sometimes over the top story will leave you laughing at the antics that follow in Ariel’s path. Each moment full of the antics that are becoming expected when the Naughty Princess’s are in the picture.
Everything about Ariel and Eric fell in place where the series was concerned. Oh….did you think I meant their journey was ‘easy’? Oh no….Ariel’s plight is anything but easy and its full of delicious naughtiness and fun!! Sivec has written a wonderful series centered on the old fairy tales and added her creativity and spunk to each of these characters. I loved each and every single story in the series!! If you haven’t started this series, then what in the world are you waiting for? Your very own Prince perhaps? Well….trust me….you need to grab these books and dive into the amazing world centered around these very Naughty Princesses. The laughs will ensue from the very first chapters…..so get ready for a fairy tale unlike any you have read befo
Sweet romantic and heartfelt. A fairy tale romance with a Disney twist. When a romance comes at you from unexpected places. Bringing outthe best within you.
Gah! Now this one may be my favorite, and maybe I am a little bias because... The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie ever! Sivec's humor shines in the latest edition to this series. It's jaw-droppingly, need-a-fan, and some cold, ice heat sexy. My favorite of the series so far!
Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec is book three in the Naughty Princess Club series. Starring Ariel Waters and Eric Sailor, Kiss the Girl, is filled with humor, antics, and romance as Ariel tries to overcome her problems with Eric at her side.
I enjoyed this novel. Kiss the Girl was a quick read and definitely will have you smiling. It is the conclusion to the series and Ms. Sivec does not leave us hanging on "happy endings" or "what happens next".
Overall, I would recommend Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec especially if you're looking for a romantic comedy.

Kiss the Girl is the last book in this series and my second book to read by Tara Sivec. I loved this book. It is laugh-out-loud funny with romance and strong friendships all thrown together. The characters are all well developed and feel like old friends. The plot is strong and keeps you reading. It was a delightful book. I received this ebook free from NetGalley for an honest review.
I almost DNFed this after about 20 pages, but I’m glad I stuck with it. When we first meet Ariel Waters, she is divorced, in a bunch of debt, trying to get her stripper business up and running with her friends, trying to find a roommate, and getting her house repossessed. This would stress anyone out, and Ariel exhibits this stress by yelling at, cursing at, and insulting everyone. Even her friends. She’s also a bit of a hot mess and about to ruin said stripping business with her mind-boggling inability to file paperwork on time. To top it all off, super sexy millionaire Eric Sailor (his family manufacturers luxury yachts guys) is there to witness everything. Luckily, he’s a big ole sweetie with a massive crush on Ariel, and so he helps her out by offering her a yacht to live on while she gets back on her feet. Readers, I really liked this story. Ariel and Eric have smoking hot chemistry, and the dialogue between them had me smiling so hard. And the scene where they try goat yoga together nearly had me in tears. Ariel kicks ass, but she’s missing some of her mojo at the beginning of this story, and watching her find it again was so fun. I have the other two books in this series sitting on my Kindle and I can’t wait to read them.
As a Disney nut, I loved this play on the Little Mermaid. It was such a fun and unique adaptation, you’ll find yourself chuckling at parts and falling in love in others. All in all this was a very fun read for me.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley.
I totally enjoyed reading Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec, book three in The Naughty Princess Club series. This is a new author for me, so as I started reading the story, I wasn’t quite sure how things were going to go. However, the more I read, the more I laughed and the more I fell in love with this book and its characters. Ariel is a no holds bar kind of gal who speaks her mind and takes no prisoners. Eric is the multimillionaire who falls in love with her as soon as he sets eyes on her, but needs to bide his time until the time is right. Ariel, along with her friends Cindy and Belle are three amazing women who have three amazing men supporting them along the way. Everyone could benefit from having these kind of friends in our life. Friends that lift you up when you think you're at the very bottom.
Ms. Sivec wrote a hilarious story; filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. I will definitely be reading more from this author! I highly recommend this book to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This was a really a fun read. In the beginning I wasn't into the sarcastic Ariel but when she started to fall for Eric I started to understand her more. Eric was awesome and was totally what she needed. Also, it didn't matter that I read this book out of order. However, I do have to go back and read the other two because I can't wait to read Cindy and Belle's story.
Completely loved this story! The characters were relatable and funny. The flow was amazing and perfect. I highly enjoyed the story by the author and look forward too reading more by them.
I really wanna hit the ex!! I mean what kind of man does what he did? But the story I received from his dirty deeds left me laughing and panting with all of the sexiness that ensued. Enjoyable read!!
This book, Ariel specifically, was not what I was expecting based on that cover. The cover shows her to be a laughing, light-hearted, falling in love, lovely young woman. That is not who she is, when the book opens, specifically.
…You called me, dickface. Who else would be answering my phone? Are you dying?”
“Uh…well…no,” she stammers.
“Then for the love of God, why in the actual fuck are you calling me? Hang up and text me like a normal person or I will slit your throat.”
That’s a conversation Ariel has with her best friend on page 1. And, look. I loathe talking on the phone. It doesn’t matter who it is, I hate it. This is a little much. And later:
“I asked for a large and the dumb shit behind the register didn’t now what I was talking about,” I finally speak in a low voice that quickly gets louder with each word I say. “Vent-grande-horseshit nonsense. I just wanted a motherfucking LARGE CUP OF GODDAMN BLACK COFFEE!”
That’s it. I’ve officially lost it and I give zero fucks. You cause one little scene at Starbucks and knock over three stacked towers of empty cups with a karate chop and suddenly you’re an animal that requires not one, but four sheriff’s deputies to handle you.
Yes, Starbucks is annoying, but again, this is a little much. And this is not a case of criticizing the heroine for behavior I’d consider fine in the hero, either. I try to be really conscious of that. That behavior is ridiculous in anyone over the age of 6. Maybe even 5.
As we got more of Ariel’s story, I could see why she was the way that she was, but that didn’t make her behavior or the way she talked to people any easier to deal with. And to be clear, it’s not the cursing. Curse it up. (I say that because I’ve seen people say she curses too much. Fuck those people). I’ve told people that I wish they’d stop calling and just text me, but I didn’t threaten to slit their throats when I did it. She’s just so abrasive, I don’t know who would be able to put up with that part of her in the beginning to get to see where she ended up.
But I did love where she ended up. Her abrasiveness came from a place of insecurity, of self-loathing, and self-doubt. Her ex had done a real number on her, constantly putting her down, making her feel terrible about herself, making her think she was never going to be worthy of love. Not to mention what he had done to her finances, by tricking her into paying him alimony for several years. Frankly, I don’t think the punishment he got for that was enough.
Eric was a sweetheart, but a little bland for me. He was able to take all of the shit Ariel dished out, and do it with a smile and some good banter, but he never struck me as anything other than just a nice guy who really liked Ariel. There wasn’t really anything that stood out to me. Eric’s best quality, and it is not to be understated because it’s important) is that when Ariel was in trouble, when she was trying to stand up to her ex or fight for her business, he stood back, supported her 100%, and let her fight her own fights. He made sure she knew that he was there, but she’s the one who took on the dragon lady who was holding their business hostage. She’s the one who finally stood up to her ex and put him in his place. Eric was there, both emotionally, and physically, but he let her shine. This was such an important part in her getting back her confidence, and re-learning just how amazing she was.
By the end of the book, Ariel still had a foul mouth, and she was still sarcastic and grumpy, but she wasn’t nearly as caustic as she had been. She was much closer to what I had initially expected when I saw the cover. This is the third and final book in the series, but I didn’t have any trouble following along. I enjoyed this, I liked the Little Mermaid references, though at times they seemed shoehorned in, but overall I’d recommend this one.
