I know of only one other biography of Admiral Leahy. This latest biography will probably be the standard for some time. The author makes the case that Leahy was far more influential than most people realize. He bases much of this on analysis of meetings between Leahy and Roosevelt compared to other members of the Chiefs of Staff, notably General Marshall.
