This is a must read for moms everywhere, especially moms of littles that are caught up in the day to day of life in all it's glory. Becky's easy relatable style and similar life experiences to my day to day made this a perfect read for me. I love her writing and her books and this one is no exception. Don't miss it!!

What a sweet little devotional! I've followed along with Becky Thompson ever since her viral blogs on her old site, Scissortail Silk, yearsss ago. It's always exciting to see a new or recent release come out, especially so when I get the chance to review it thanks to Netgalley. Unfortunately I waited a bit too long to write this out but here goes. Devotionals are perfect for moms because you can read each chapter in just a few minutes, and it's perfect for on the go, especially in its little package. Loved that this was a hardcover book. Even though it's on the shorter side in terms of length, every word is packed and really gets to the meat of things. I think in her writing she has always done a great job of applying everyday things of life to devotional style takeaways as well as relating all things back to Scripture. Definitely recommend her books to any new or seasoned mama who needs some refreshment.

Becky Thompson does an excellent job of weaving her life story in with scripture to give Mom's the encouragement they need in whatever season they are in. She is very easy to understand and has a way with words that will draw you in. Scripture is throughout as she encourages moms to find truth in the Bible. It is broken down in a way that you could use it as a devotional if you only have short amounts of time to read it. If you are a mom in need of encouragement, this is great resource. It would also be an excellent gift for a mom!

Becky Thompson has spoken to me through many books and blogs. Becky has a way of meeting the reader where they are and knowing just the right words to help them through whatever challenge they are facing. Truth Unchanging is no exception and a great addition to the library Becky has given us.

Thank you netgalley for the advanced reader copy.

Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to review this book for my honest opinion. I've read Becky Thompson's previous books so I couldn't wait to read this book. As usual she has a great message for moms that centers around Jesus's love for us. She takes most of the more popular Bible stories and adds her daily life/perspective stories to help moms see the relevance of the Bible and Jesus to their personal lives. It's a good premise but gets a bit wordy and tiresome at certain points. It is a good book of you're struggling in your faith, to point you back to Jesus and it's in bite sized chunks so you can read it like a devotional. Overall I liked it.

I wish this book was written when my kids were younger! I loved the devotional prayers at the end of each chapter. The chapters were short and full of inspirational. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Truth Unchanging is a devotions that are designed to be read fast and give hope to moms when our job seems hopeless. It's hard to take care of others when you have nothing more to give. Truth Unchanging gets your focus off of you and into God where hope lives.

Author Becky Thompson continues in her true to life fashion in her latest devotional, Truth Unchanging. Similar to her previous work, Thompson's voice is conversational, concise, and impactful. Each excerpt is meant to be read in short time spans, but the truth is still deep without being "fluff and stuff." What I mean is, the author really hits on Biblical principles that stand the test of time and work to develop true character.

This devotional takes you through the expanse of both Old and New Testaments, relating Biblical stories to deep life truths, and then attaching them to the significance of motherhood. Proving once again that the Lord's truths are certainly unchanging across the test of time. I have yet to finish this devotional, but am savoring my reading in it. Ideal for reading along side the Bible, Truth Unchanging serves as a great encouragement and inspiration in the pockets of time during the season of motherhood.

Truth Unchanging by Becky Thompson is a daily-devotional book that is based on a character in the Bible and related to our everyday Mama life. I found myself relating greatly and feeling what she was getting at. I felt a sense of great encouragement from each day’s entry. I was challenged. She helps to identify God’s voice in our lives. I completely agree with her statement that said, “Don’t miss My voice because you’re expecting Me to speak in a certain way. If you focus on Me, you won’t miss a word of what I want you to know.” And “… the more we respond to these promptings, even when we don’t understand them, the more we will train our hearts to listen for God’s loving direction in all situations.” What a truthful, kind, and compassionate writing voice.

As Mothers we are constantly on the go whether we have young kids, older kids or fur kids. All mothers have one thing in common. The love of their families. We strive constantly to give more, do more, be more until we are completely exhausted. What “Truth Unchanging” gives us is those few quiet moments with God that will renew our hearts, revitalize our energy and bring a sense of peace and calm into our busy lives. God will meet us, right where we are, right in the middle of our mess.

I love how Becky Thompson shares her personal journey through motherhood and weaves it so effortlessly with Scripture. We can identify with her as a mother and we can also take that one step closer to an intimate relationship with God. In just a few minutes a day we can find wisdom and encouragement to be the best mothers we can be. Thank you to WaterBrook & Multnomah and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book to review. It was an absolute blessing.

This book by Becky Thompson is structured as a devotional, but could also be read just as a book - a few chapters at a time! Her focus on hearing God's voice - particularly as a mom - was encouraging and uplifting! The way she interweaves it with various stories from the Bible was impressive. I'd recommend this book to any mom!

I’ve read all of Becky Thompson’s books and this one is my favourite so far. I really appreciated the short devotional readings—perfect for a busy mom like me to sneak in when she has five minutes to herself.

What I loved most though was the personal stories and the application of those stories to Biblical truths from both the Old and New Testaments.

I would definitely recommend this to any mom who’s looking for a new devotional.

Becky Thompson is one of my favorite Christian authors. She is vulnerable and that is what makes her such an excellent writer. She doesn't just talk about the joyous moments. She talks about the hard stuff. She talks about how raising kids have put her out of her comfort zone, and how our Savior Jesus is going to meet us in the messy moments - not just the easy moments. These devotions are filled with moments to meet Jesus even in the hard, messy stuff. And I absolutely adored this devotional. Becky does not disappoint in her newest book!
