As a whole this was a good book to read. I always enjoy anthologies during the holiday's because they are so much easier to read when you are so busy. You can read a story and then put it down and go back to what ever fun holiday thing you were doing.
I will break down the story a little bit for you:
A BABY FOR CHRISTMAS * Lisa Jackson
This one I read years before in the anthology Santa Baby. As I started it I knew I had read it before and the more I read the more I remembered. This was a very enjoyable story that made me remember why I use to like Jackson's books.
WHAT THE COWBOY WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS * Maisey Yates
I wasn't that thrilled with this one. I did not care for Meg at all. I just didn't have the time for her. I did like Noah. He was a good guy. The story isn't bad she just drove me nuts.
SNOWED IN * Stacy Finz
This one is part of her Gardner's Brothers series #3.5. I really love this series. I was looking forward to this one I just wish it was a full size book and not a novella. Still good, I just wanted more.
A COWBOY WEDDING FOR CHRISTMAS * Nicole Helm
This one is part of her Mile High Cowboys. I've never read this author before and I'm not sure if I would again. The story was okay, just didn't totally click with me. Since it's the first one I've read of hers, maybe I'll try another.
Like I said above the book as a whole is good. Each story is well-written. I liked some more then others. But I read them all and if these authors are in another holiday anthology I'd read that one too.
In the mood for some Christmas? Yeah, it’s early but now is when all the Christmas stories are beginning to hit the shelves… with tons more to come.
I will admit that I am glad that Santa’s On His Way came out early, for this one really put me in the mood for the Christmas magic I know is going to flow through my reading hands over the next few months.
A Christmas anthology with four magical Christmas romances told by well known authors, and they also give us a taste of some of their series as well. What is not to enjoy about four stories to set your mood? Each is a short story, just the right length to fit into that spare time between shopping, decorating and simply enjoying the season. Because they are short I’m not going to go into details on each story other than to say that each is touching, tender, full of the joy and wonder of Christmas with a bit of a rough spot for our couples to get through to find their Christmas happy ever after. If I “had” to rate them individually there are three 5 stars and one 4 star reads in Santa’s On His Way… but, overall this one gets top place for setting the mood, giving me some wonderful couples to enjoy and for lots and lots of Christmas magic to share. I love this time of year, and getting to enjoy these author’s stories was a very special treat.
Love Christmas Romance? Then you’ll want to pick up Santa’s On His Way and sit back for an enjoyable, funny, tender Christmas set of romances.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
Great Christmas read! I've never read a couple of the authors in this collection but I enjoyed all of the stories. Very festive!
Santa's on His Way
by Lisa Jackson; Maisey Yates; Stacy Finz; Nicole Helm
Looking for a Christmas collection of stories you will want to read over and over again? This is one that I believe fills the bill. All pulled at my heartstrings and had me rooting for the characters to find happiness together. Loved them all!
WHAT THE COWBOY WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS * Maisey Yates
This story grabbed me and kept me engaged from beginning to end. I so very much wanted Meg and Noah to get their HEA and though it was painful to watch I was thrilled when it all came out right for both of them!
SNOWED IN * Stacy Finz
Rachel and Boden were another great love story that had me smiling at the end. Loved both characters and their dynamic together.
A COWBOY WEDDING FOR CHRISTMAS * Nicole Helm
Second chances are not for everyone but in this story Lindsay and Cal do manage a way back together when she comes home for good. That said…it wasn’t easy for either of them.
A BABY FOR CHRISTMAS * Lisa Jackson
I wondered how a Christmas story would work written by this author since it is usually murder and romantic suspense she writes. Well, she aced it and again we end up with a couple that deserves their HEA and duly find it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington-Zebra for the ARC – This is my honest review

• REVIEW OF WHAT THE COWBOY WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS BY MAISEY YATES •
Maisey Yates was the reason I grabbed this anthology of Christmas tales, and though I look forward to three more snowy strories from three new-to-me authors, it seems only right I review the novella I came for.
It was delightful. A fast-paced, highly sexy and addictive one-sitting read, What the Cowboy Wants for Christmas was very enjoyable. It’s short on some detail, because of the length, but Ms. Yates still crams a lot of story into a handful of chapters. Noah and Meg were likable—Noah more so than Meg, TBH—and their HEA was a yummy Christmas treat.
I’d definitely recommend asking Santa to put this collection under your tree, just for What the Cowboy Wants for Christmas.
Santa's on His Way is a fun anthology by some top romance writers; Lisa Jackson, Maisey Yates, Stacy Finz and Nicole Helm. Each story is self-contained, so they can be read in any order. Some of the stories tie to a series by the author but still read well on their own. All are novellas so the romances are wrapped up quickly, which makes the anthology a perfect read for the busy holiday season.
A Baby For Christmas by Lisa Jackson has an abandoned baby at the heart of the story. I am familiar with these authors but was surprised to see Lisa Jackson’s romance, I usually think of her as a mystery, suspense writer. This story does have some mystery, a woman who wants to do what best and a misguided man. An interesting read.
Snowed In by Stacy Finz is tied to the Garner Brothers Series. If you had read the series you would have met the two main characters. It was great to see them get a story of their own. My favorite of the anthology.
What the Cowboy Wants for Christmas by Maisey Yates is one of “friends to lovers” story. The characters are likable. Meg runs to the right man!
A Cowboy Wedding For Christmas by Nicole Helm is also part of a series. It is a story of returning home, second chances and learning to forgive.
This is a book of four Christmas stories by four different authors . It is a wonderful way to get into the holiday mood . I Always enjoy Lisa Jackson’s work but was excited to find three more authors that were new to me.
I received an ARC of this from Netgalley for my honest opinion .
I am not usually a big fan of anthologies but since this one had some of my favorite authors in it I decided to try it. I enjoyed it immensely. Each story felt more like a complete book instead of a novella length story. I recommend this book to those who like great holiday romances!
What can be better than a book of Christmas tales from some of my favorite authors? Not much!
What the Cowboy Wants for Christmas
by Maisey Yates
This story has a lot of emotion packed into its pages. Meg and Noah grew up in and out of foster care so there is a lot of baggage. Maisey Yates handled their situations beautifully and really tugged at my heartstrings. If I wasn’t already a big fan of this author, this story would have me seeking more from her. ~4.5 stars
Snowed In
by Stacy Finz
A few years ago, I read the first couple of books in this author’s Nugget series. I really enjoyed them but somehow lost track of them along the way. This story reminded me of how much I enjoyed her writing. I’ll have to make a note to get back to that series. As for this story, a lot of depth was put into the back story of these characters. Sometimes that can bog down a story as short as this one, but the author did a great job. The tension that built between Rachel and Boden as the story progressed was palpable. ~4 stars
A Cowboy Wedding for Christmas
by Nicole Helm
Amazing chemistry! The heat between Lindsay and Cal is off the charts, even though they go through great pains to not even touch each other. This is a very touching story about a couple who find their way back to each other after going their own ways years before. The love and hurt between them twisted me up inside. I’ll say it again…amazing! ~4.5 stars
A Baby for Christmas
by Lisa Jackson
This story was kind of old school. It starts off in 1995, so I thought it was a bit of a flashback. Nope…the story takes place in the 90’s. People smoking cigarettes in restaurants, non-existent cell phones and all. While I enjoyed this story, some of the references threw me because of being dated. And sometimes the flow was a bit choppy. But the chemistry between Annie and Liam was explosive and it was, overall, a great story. I was curious and had to look this one up once I finished because, honestly, why would the author write this story to take place in the 90’s? That wasn’t a crucial plot point. Turns out, this story was included in another Christmas compilation called ‘Tis the Season back in 1997. It’s odd to me it was not only included in this modern compilation, but it’s also the “headliner” on the cover of the book. ~3.5 stars
I really enjoyed this collection of Christmas tales. While it doesn’t seem any of these stories is technically part of any of the authors series, they all have some sort of tie (usually by location) to some other work. A Cowboy Wedding for Christmas by Nicole Helm is definitely an offshoot of her Mile High series. I’m hoping to see these characters again, but I don’t think it’s necessary to read that series to understand and like this story.
A fantastic collection of four 5 star holiday novellas set in the fictional small towns each of these authors have created in their individual series. If you are a fan of these authors you will enjoy a quick addition to the series you already love. If these authors are new to you this is a fantastic way of experiencing their individual writing styles and falling in love with their stories. I highly recommend this book!
WHAT THE COWBOY WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS * Maisey Yates - A fantastic friends to lovers story. Loved Noah and Meg together much more than Meg with Charlie! Someone needs to smack that man! Meg is definitely better off.
SNOWED IN * Stacy Finz - Business rivals in Glory Junction, Rachel and Boden, find themselves competing for the same property. When they get snowed in at a mountaintop lodge together the begin to see what's really important.
A COWBOY WEDDING FOR CHRISTMAS * Nicole Helm - A second chance romance that will just make your heart melt. Lindsay Tyler returns to Gracely, Colorado and she has to face Cal Burton, the man whose heart she broke when she left him behind.
A BABY FOR CHRISTMAS * Lisa Jackson - What was suppose to be a quiet Christmas is suddenly filled with chaos when Annie discovers a baby on her doorstep followed shortly by and enraged Liam claiming to be the father. What happens after that is truly a Christmas miracle.
This book is a collection of three "short" stories with a romance theme. Although these stories are not my cup of tea, someone else may enjoy these stories.
Santa's on His Way (Kindle Edition) by Lisa Jackson This is four books in one... thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for allowing me to preview this book. WHAT A COWBOY WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS by Maisey Yates... Meg and Noah's story... they met in foster care and both have hangups..friends to lovers story with a HEA. SNOWED IN by Stacy Finz.. Rachel and Boden's story... competitors to lovers story...loved BUNS AND BEER....with a HEA. A COWBOY WEDDING FOR CHRISTMAS by Nicole Helm ... Lindsay and Cal's story .. he has abandonment issues from his parents and Lindsay leaving to find herself..they get their HEA. A BABY FOR CHRISTMAS by Lisa Jackson... Anne and Liam's story... her husband divorced her after her third miscarriage... he falsely accused by her sister Nola of murder..and Nola leaves their baby on Anne's doorstep in a snow storm.... they get to a HEA but I worried they wouldn't.
This is an anthology featuring 4 different stories by 4 different authors. Because it's an anthology they are full stories but they are short. They all center around the Christmas holidays even though they don't interconnect with each other.
What The Cowboy Wants For Christmas by Maisey Yates. Meg has been let down yet again by her absent boyfriend when she tries to surprise him for Christmas. After flying straight back home, she goes to her best friend's house to try to figure out what to do now. Noah tries to continue being her best friend, even knowing how much he wants Meg. Until he finds out something he never expected and that makes him finally make her understand what he really wants.
I really liked this one. Meg and Noah both have issues that stem from their upbringing and being a part of the foster system. But now that they are adults and are finally seeing exactly what they can be to each other, they have to truly make a decision on whether to let their fears rule them or find happiness together. I give this one 4 stars because it kept me involved but there were parts of Meg that just made me want to smack her sometimes LOL!
Snowed In by Stacy Finz is about Rachel and Boden. Rachel owns a bakery in their small town and Boden owns the local pub. Both are in the running to get lease space from the town in order for them to expand their businesses. And both are not only prickly with each other but they are attracted to each other. But now they are snowed in together when they were trying to get a venue ready for a wedding.
I absolutely loved this one! Not only are they snarky with each other and make you laugh but they are hot together! Rachel went through some things with an ex that makes it hard for her to trust but she realizes pretty fast that Boden is not like that at all. And Boden realizes that his first thoughts about Rachel are not accurate. I love them together and I love how they work out not only their differences but their businesses to make them both happy! 5 stars!
A Cowboy Wedding For Christmas by Nicole Helm. Lindsay is back home for her brother's wedding but what her family doesn't know if she is coming home to stay after leaving for college and the chance to grow up and find herself. Cal is the man she left behind when she left. He hasn't forgiven her for leaving him behind and is angry that she thinks she can just come home and come around again.
Another one that I absolutely loved! Cal is definitely angry but a lot of it is due to his own issues and he has to learn to not only work through them but to also realize that things that happened with Lindsay are partially his fault. Lindsay knew she had to leave in order to learn how to stand on her own without her family making decisions for her. She has never stopped loving Cal but she also doesn't believe that he will ever forgive her and let her be a part of his life. I loved them! They both had issues and reading about them working through them just points out that author's get that not everyone is perfect and that people make mistakes but that mistakes can be worked through and forgiven IF the people are willing to do the work! Loved it!! 5 stars!
A Baby For Christmas by Lisa Jackson is about Annie and Liam. Annie finds a baby on her doorstep and doesn't know where it came from other than there is a note that's says For You Annie. It doesn't take her long to fall in love with her. Liam is searching for Annie's sister after what she did to him. He shows up on Annie's doorstep believing the baby is his. And already ready to fight her for his child.
I have to say, this one kinda left me hanging somewhat. I was surprised because normally I love Lisa Jackson books but I had a hard time connecting with either of these 2 characters. Liam just came of as a jerk to me. Yes I know that he went through a lot because of her sister but without knowing any of the other family and to act the way he did just put me off. Annie seemed strong at first but then, I don't know, she seemed kinda like a patsy and I didn't like it. I don't know really what put me off, but something did. I had a hard time with this one. I liked the way it ended, that was sweet. But yeah, I can only give this 3 stars. The read itself was ok, I'm kinda neutral about this one.
All in all, I liked most of the stories and 2 I absolutely loved! So on a whole I would give it 4 stars and say it is worth the read!

In Snowed in by Stacy Finz, Boden and Rachel go from competing for a business location to completing each other. Wonderful story, loveable characters. SANTA'S ON HIS WAY By Lisa Jackson, Maisey Yates, Stacy Finz, Nicole Helm
This book is chock full of feel good Christmas stories. I enjoyed each one. I am very familiar with Lisa Jackson and always enjoy her books, but had never read anything by the other 3. I am happy to have found more talented authors to read books by now. This collection brings us the lost, lonely, bitter to have their own Christmas miracles. I would recommend this. I received an ARC for my honest review from Netgalley.
I got this book because I love Lisa Jackson’s work and her Christmas story was awesome as I expected ......but they’re are 3 other stories by 3 different authors and they’re great, so if your looking for some Christmas romance stories and happily ever after this book is for you.....
Santa's On His Way is a touching collection of holiday tales. I enjoyed each and every story which included some of my favorite tropes - snowed in couple, second chance romance, enemies to lovers, and more. If you're looking for a little inspiration to put you in a festive mood, I highly recommend this collection.
