This is not really a young adult story, the content would be for older teens.   The book blurb didn't really make it clear so it's hard for me to really give it a fair review because I didn't like how the story went but if you enjoy a little horror with your paranormal it would be a good fit the characters and story were done very well.

I picked this up because of the cool cover and found a unique YA novel. It was an interesting and well done novel. I recommend this for fans of YA.

I liked that this was different from the usual YA book thats out there these days. While it had many elements similar to stories written before, its focus on the mystical magic of music made it something unique and special. I liked the characters, their interactions and the pacing of the writing kept me engaged beginning to end. Readers looking for something different from the YA norm may enjoy taking a chance on this book.
