Book 2 in the Fighting For Her series and although I’m not one to boast, I did say in my review of book 1 that ‘Brooklyn’s Brothers were awesome, superb supporting characters with strong protective instincts.’ Well book 2 proves just how right I was. In this friends to lovers romance we follow Chelsea best friend of MMA fighter Liam Roth since the age of 10, as she temporarily moves back to town and ends up moving in with Liam for a few weeks, her trusty grumpy feline in tow. She is determined to stop crushing on her best friend (of course we know that’s not going to happen). Liam also, it seems is fending over some major desire from seeing his best friend, who he’s missed terribly. This is a sweet, sometimes funny, feel good friends to lovers. I am loving this series. Super hot alpha males, and strong, independent women. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Chelsea and Liam have been best friends since they were kids. But unbeknownst to each other, they were also in love. Liam’s brother and sister knew this, but apparently Liam and Chelsea didn’t. Chelsea grew up with a neglectful and passive aggressive single mother, while Liam’s mother divorced his father and left his family when he was a teenager. These losses had a tremendous impact on their senses of self worth. With a little help from Liam’s dad and siblings, things eventually worked out. Their story is well written, engaging, and includes witty dialogue. A very enjoyable read!

MMA Fighter? Quirky Heroine? Friends-to-lovers Slowburn? ummm... YES PLEASE!

This was such a fun read, I'm so glad I got a chance to add it to my Summer reading list! The characters were so relatable and the dialogue between them (& a cat) was funny and swoony!

Told in dual POV, we really got to experience the internal struggle of toeing the line between friendship and love of both characters.

This is the second book of the Fighting For Her series by Cindi Madsen, the first book DOES NOT have to be read in order to enjoy this one. (Although I just bought the first one - Until You're Mine - to read because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters just yet)

This is book 2 in a series and it easily stands alone. I had never read this author and I also hardly ever read MMA romances. That said I did enjoy this story even as I had issues and almost quit readng it many times. My issue with the stry is nothing freaking happened for the first part of the story. The couple only kiss at 60% of the story and thats their first kiss. I understand slow burn but at times this was hugely frustrating.

That said I liked both main characters of Liam and Chelsea. They are besties who are always there for each other. I also liked that Liam never uses another female to slake his lust for Chelsea. He fights very hard to keep himself in the friend zone. At times I really didnt get the fight. As to Chelsea she is in town for 6 weeks and they become roomies. At times I was frustrated with how into her job she is. I felt she should have fought more for Liam than she did.

That said I did enjoy it and I did like the characters from 60-100%. The time it took to get there was very frustrating.

I have been looking forward to Liam and Chelsea's book since I finished Until You're Mine, and Cindi Madsen did not disappoint!

Chelsea loves to read and is a romantic with a big heart. She loves to talk and has trouble with being assertive - basically the opposite of Liam. He is an MMA fighter who is more the strong and silent type. Despite being a tough guy who fights for a living he has a soft spot for Chelsea.

Friends to lovers stories walk a fine line. There has to be build up to the relationship and a chance to see them as friends, but enough time for them to connect as more. Until We're More did a great job of making me care about them as friends first and their romantic relationship second.

I can't wait for Finn's book!

I lovvvved this book. I am a total sucker for the best friends to lovers trope. I loved how much Liam knew he was so out of it when Chelsea moved away. Chelsea and Liam have been best friends since they were 12. She is quite the talker, aware of what people may think of her, the weirdo, the opposite of Liam, but, Liam accepts her for her. He's always been her protector from everything, her family, people, anyone who looks at her the wrong way, which can be good but also in a negative way. She comes home after being away for about 6 months. Her and her grumpy cat George in tow. Liam is fighting his attraction to his best friend at every turn.

I loved the ring girl scene. LOVE.....The entire chapter, I felt the attraction, his need for her. It was like WOW! I really recommend this. This is a really really cute, HOT, Steamy, sweet best friends to lovers story!!! All the supporting characters were good, I can't wait for the next book in this series.

After the first in the series ('Until you're mine') I was looking forward to this story about Liam Roth, MMA figher and his BFF forever and old neighbor-girl Chelsea. This is a delicious friends-to-lovers romance and I devoured it in a couple of hours.

Chelsea and Liam have been friends since forever, even when they are an unlikely pair. Chelsea is a lovely nerdy (but beautiful) girl who loves books and has a big heart. Liam is an MMA fighter and is always a bit grumpy (but never with Chelsea). To be away from her toxic mom Chelsea has been living in Denver for months and has just returned for only 6 weeks. Liam asks her to stay with him but never counted on the feelings that seem to overwhelm him. He helps Chelsea with being more assertive so she can get a promotion at work. Meanwhile Chelsea has been fighting her feelings for Liam and most of the book is filled with lots of UST. But what if the six weeks are over?

Enjoyed this book. I loved this couple and would like to read more about them!

This is the second of this series, and while you don't have to read the first one you really should you just go more out of it and no the characters a little more. This is Liam's book and his love interest who just happens to be his best friend although he doesn't understand his feelings for Chelsea. Chelsea has been in love with Liam forever but would never want to lose his friendship because he is the one he can always count on. She had left to Denver for a job to get away from her toxic family and also from her the feelings she had for Liam knowing he would always see her as his best friend. When she comes back to LA she ends up staying with him and eventually they give in, but do they work out all the problems that exist between them? Her toxic family having access to her? Him travelling and giving his all to the gym? The job that she has been working hard for? Well read it and find out..I can't wait for Finn's story.

Very good read! I definitely enjoyed reading this book! This is Chelsea and Liam book, Liam runs his family owned mma gym and Chelsea is his best friend for years now but she started having not best friend feelings for Liam and takes a job far away thinking it'll clear her hot feelings for her best friend! She comes back for an assignment for a month and ends up staying with Liam! I was very excited for an mma book and this was a great book but it doesn't focus on the fights to much it's talked about but no details, the car was really funny and they were hot hot together when they finally got together lol all around it's definitely worth the read and a great recommendations! I'm going to read the first book in this series cuz it was that good! Thank you NetGalley and entangled publishers for sharing this book with me! Entangled had been really putting out some great books lately!!

A sweet friends to lovers story with a bit of unrequited love mixed in. This is the first book I’ve read by Cindi Madsen and I loved it. Chelsea has known Liam since she moved next door to him when she was 12 years old. For years they have been best friends, Liam was the only one she felt was on her side and she was the one that calmed Liam’s chaotic life. Chelsea’s feelings had changed for Liam and thinking she had no chance with him, she left. Liam had to let her go, her family was toxic and he felt she had to go for her own good. But now she is back and things have changed. Both had to face their feelings and have the courage to move in the direction they both want. Once the dynamics of their relationship changed it gets pretty hot.

The other character I loved was George, Chelsea’s cat. He was hilarious, those of us who have or had cats will totally understand. The scene with him knocking over the flowers was to die for!

I’m not normally a fan of the friends to lovers trope but this one was too sweet to not enjoy.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own. Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for this opportunity.

Until We're More is a great friends to lovers romance. You'll fall in love with Liam and Chelsea and root for them till the end. This is a must read for fans of New Adult/Sports books. I am a sucker for these types of books and I was not disappointed.

Friends to lovers for the romantic win. I loved Liam and Chelsea's relationship so much. They helped each other as friends, but as lovers they took it to another level. An amazing story!
