What an epic book. I consumed this book via audio as I tend to do for a lot of non fiction and this book was the perfect companion to a lot of miles of dog walking and quite a few hours of running errands!

I have felt for a long time that the Kennedys are the closest thing to a royal family for us Americans and I along with so many others have had a long fascination with them and their family, so this book was the perfect epic read that spanned four generations of this family with all of their ups and downs. I thought I knew all there was about this family, but I was pleasantly surprised by some facts and happenings that I didn't know about!

I would recommend this to any reader who already has some basic Kennedy knowledge and just wants a comprehensive book about this family and their ability to persevere!

I'm a huge fan of Taraborrelli's work. He combines the fun of a Hollywood tell-all with the legitimacy of a real history book.
