The author writes about his business and his addiction. He begins with his childhood businesses and how he turned them into a sports empire. During all this he also battled an addiction to pills until he finally got help. There is a lot of name dropping here. I found the writing to be disjointed. There is a lot of repetition and if he can drop a famous name he does. Instead of being inspirational I found the story to be shallow. If you like to read about famous sports figures you may enjoy this book.
I can not review this book because I could not read it. The link to this book will not download. I would like to read it sometime.
The author wrote about his experience with opioids in a raw manner that made it easy to care about him and his journey. He was at the top of his career and had a devastating fall from the top that could have destroyed him had he not taken control of his addiction and health. This book is very timely and shows that anyone, no matter how successful, can be affected by this epidemic and possibly lose it all.
