While this is part of a series, you can read it as a standalone. Jaden and Arsula don't seem like two people you would put together. He had his life all planned out and she is the one who told his girlfriend she was with the wrong man.

I like Arsula. She believes in more than facts and doesn't let him get by with being dismissive of her ideology. She wants what is best for people even if it may mean pain for her.

Jaden is the youngest sibling and quite used to getting his way. He doesn't respond the best when he is challenged. I loved their interactions as they both tried to see if they could make it work.

The author does an excellent job developing their relationship and showing their ups and downs. There is not a simple fix for them to be a couple. They have to really change to be with one another.

There is great chemistry between them and some explosive scenes that heat up the book.

I had a lot of issues with this book. I normally love all of Kim Law's books, but this one just wasn't one for me. There were a few things I loved. The cover was beautiful and I loved the ending. I didn't like how Arsula would throw things at Jaden. And Jaden called everyone crazy, insane, or delusional. These two people were supposed to be attracted to each other but had to be mean to each other. That's a big deal breaker for me. Kim Law is a go-to author for me and I will continue to read her books. And I bet they will be wonderful.

This is the fourth book in the Montana series by Kim Law with the Wilde family. The youngest son, Jaden, is home for his brother’s wedding. His longtime girlfriend, Megan, breaks up with him after turning down his proposal due to a dream. Jaden believes she is having cold feet about getting married.
Arsula has been in Birch Bay for a while and has an ability to read dreams and her intuitions. Arsula came to Montana because she “knew” someone needed help. She has become friends with Jaden’s girlfriend and was the person that interpreted Megan’s dream.
The night of the reception, Jaden and Arsula, spend time together having too much to drink. The next morning, Arsula gives him a boot out the door literally, and he breaks his leg in the process. Arsula ends up taking care of Jaden because she feels guilty for being the cause of his injury.
You will have to read the book to determine if Megan and Jaden get back together or if a relationship develops between Arsula and Jaden.
I have read all of the Montana Birch Bay series and look forward to the next one by Kim Law.

Kim Law excells at writing well developed characters. This story delves deep into family issues. Jaden and Arsula are the main characters although there are appearances of the Wilde family. It was a very good read! You can read this as a stand alone book, but don't deprive yourself of reading all of The Wildes of Birch Bay!

I have read the previous books in this series and I have to say this one was rather unique. The book continues the saga of the Wilde family of Birch Bay, Montana and contains much of the same type of writing with an added element of North American mysticism.

Jaden Wilde is the youngest of the siblings and has decided to ask his long time girlfriend to marry him, He is quite surprised to be turned down and when he finds out why, he is angry and a bit baffled.

Arsula Moretti has come to Birch Bay on a whim. She feels drawn to the community through a gut feeling that someone in the town needed her help. She is of North American heritage and shares the of dream interpretation with a special aunt. It was because of her interactions with Jaden’s girlfriend that his marriage proposal was rejected.

Something about Arsula intrigues Jaden and draws him to her like a moth to a flame. When an unfortunate accident brings them together, sparks fly both in their tempers and in their attraction to each other. They are two strong characters but watching them realize how well they complement each other was fun to read.

In true Kim Law style, as the story unfolds, the past is brought together with the present and the two are blended into a wonderful tale of healing, of self- acceptance and of a bit of magic. I really enjoyed Jaden and Arsula’s story and recommend all of the previous books as well.

I give Montana Dreams 4 1/2 Stars. This is the fourth book in the series and it was kind of different. For some reason I had more trouble connecting to this one than any of the others. Maybe it was just the different vibe that threw me a little. Even the names of the characters were "different".I absolutely loved the cover--and covers mean a lot to me. I also loved the humor in this book.
Jaden, who is studying to be a therapist, is the member of the Wilde family. Each member of the family was touched in negative ways by the narcissistic mother. Arsala is a brilliant woman born into a family of doctors who chooses to go her own way, garnering her the disappointment of her father. She has a gift of being able to decipher dreams and help people find their right path. As a therapist, Jaden thinks her "gift" is a crock of ___ and certainly doesn't believe he needs her input on his life.
They are thrown together under difficult circumstances and are somewhat surprised to feel an attraction to each other, which is almost as strong as their animosity. That makes for an interesting path to togetherness. It's a path of self awareness and discovery for both of them that, of course, leads to a happy ever after.
I'm already anxious for the next book in the series!

This is the fourth book in the Wildes of Birch Bay series, but it can be read as a standalone. Each book is about a different sibling in the Wilde family.

I loved Arsula. I thought she was a strong, independent woman who stood-up for what she believed. Jaden was harder to love. I know he had a tough childhood, but I didn’t like the way he treated Arsula, and I thought she too easily forgave him for the things he said to her. He did redeem himself eventually though.

This wasn’t my favorite in the series, but I still liked it and will continue with the series.

Montana Dreams is the fourth book in The Wildes of Birch Bay series, written by author Kim Law. First, let me start my saying that each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone. However, I strongly recommend reading the previous books in this series to help get a complete understanding of the Wilde family. In Montana Dreams, Jaden's story is finally told...and it is a story that is well worth the wait!

Jaden Wilde is the youngest of the six Wilde siblings, and he has just returned home to Birch Bay to take part in his brother Gabe's wedding. Jaden has been in Seattle for the past seven weeks, working towards his master's degree in counseling psychology. He is excited to see his girlfriend Megan, and has a surprise planned for her later that evening. However, things are not going the way he planned. He already missed the rehearsal dinner the night before, and now they arrived late to the church. Megan is upset, and that leads into an argument. On impulse, he decides that is the moment to give Megan the surprise he planned for later that evening...an engagement ring. To his complete surprise, Megan turns him down. To make matters even more confusing is the reason...Megan had a dream...a dream that she had interpreted by a woman in town...and that woman told her that she is with the wrong man.

Arsula Moretti has a gift, and she uses her gift to help people. Some people call it intuition, or even a gut feeling, but whatever name you want to put to it, Arsula never ignores the feelings. Five months ago, she had a feeling that she needed to help someone in Birch Bay, and she packed up and left the life she knew behind. Now living in Birch Bay, she has used her gift to help people. Recently, she helped her friend Megan interpret a dream that she had. She told Megan the man she was in a relationship with was not the right man for her. Little did she know at the time, but her role in that interpretation would end up changing her life.

The story that unfolds is not the typical Kim Law novel because this one has a mystical side to it. I think that is one of the reasons why I loved this story so much. Kim Law is an amazing storyteller, and the added mystical element is a testament to her writing style and her ability to think outside of the box. She perfectly blends together the magic and the normal...which leads to one sensational story.

Arsula is a fascinating, complex character, with a heart of gold and a charm that will win you over, even if you are not personally a believer of her gift. I loved her sense of humor, her strong beliefs, and her willingness to help anyone in need. She is also perfect for Jaden, even if he doesn't immediately realize it. Jaden is one of those characters that will make you mad, but then five minutes later, you end up cutting him some slack because you know that deep down inside, he is really a good guy. As with all of the Wilde siblings, Jaden is still affected by his upbringing, which sometimes carries over into how he reacts to things. He also has a hard time accepting Arsula's intuition, which causes Arsula to doubt herself...something she rarely does. It is obvious that Jaden and Arsula are meant to be together...but can they work through their differences to have their chance at love?

As I already stated, this book is the perfect blend of magical elements and reality...a winning combination in Montana Dreams. I loved following the journey of Jaden and Arsula, as well as revisiting the other members of the Wilde family, and the local residents from the previous books in the series. I strongly recommend reading Montana Dreams, as well as the previous books in the series.

I would like to thank Kim Law, Montlake Romance, and NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read and review this book. My views are my own, and are in no way influenced by anyone else.

I love the series, the Wildes of Birch Bay, and Jaden Wilde’s story really touched my heart. I supposed I should first say that maybe because he is the youngest, he has some actual growing up to do. However, once you get “to know” him, he will melt your heart. Perception is everything and his view of his own place in the Wilde family has been with him for so long that he feels so very alone in the world. I can’t begin to describe it; you will just have to read the story Ms. Law tells. It made me go into protective mode!

Jaden’s story starts with a devastating blow however…he meets Arsula Moretti who seems to be at the center of the devastation. She is quite a character! I’ve known someone like her, who has an amazing set of, let’s call them skills; add to that she is open and warm and friendly to everyone she meets. It isn’t until she actually speaks with Jaden that her temper – and she does have one! – makes an appearance in the story. All I will say is: watch out for flying lamps when you are reading!

Jaden and Arsula come from such different family backgrounds and make a strange-ish couple but when they actually work together, they turn into a great team. (I am not doing the story justice. The buildup to their relationship is amazing and what this book is all about.) Both of them have familial issues to face, Jaden most of all, and when Arsula helps him look at things a bit differently, the light bulb moment is amazing. Arsula’s are complicated as well and it will take courage on her part to deal with them.

I think this is my favorite Wilde couple. They are certainly unconventional – Arsula sees to that! – but at heart, they were meant to be. I received a free, advance copy of this book from the publisher. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

This latest Birch Bay novel is one of my favorites. The love/hate chemistry between Arsula and Jaden is off the chart. While Jaden comes across as selfish and childish at times, he isn't off putting and his character develops well into someone I wanted Arsula to be with. Arsula is easy to love and while she seems to have everything together her own struggles with her family makes her the perfect balance with Jaden. This book is part of a series and the story might be hard to keep-up with if you haven't read the previous books, but the series is well written and almost leans a little more towards women's lit in substance with romance mixed in.

I was so happy to return to Wilde family. They have all gone through so much as children but somehow they have come out and succeeded or have they? Do you believe in the interpretation of dreams? Jaden Wilde has returned home for a wedding and finds himself suddenly single after his girlfriend breaks up with him. Arsula has arrived in Birch Bay to share her gift of dream interpreting, and now she feels the draw to heal Jaden.

The chemistry is instantaneous between the two but Arsula has her work cut out in Jaden. At times I just wanted to reach out and bop Jaden on the head for his selfish demanding behavior. Arsula is so patient in him but also has her own problems that she needs to work out. I really loved how their relationship developed and grew.

I highly recommend this book. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone but then you will want to read the rest of the Wilde family. I just love this cover!!!

With how much I’ve been loving this series, imagine my joy when I was able to snag an ARC from Net Galley of this story. Being as this also means I’m caught up in this series and will have to wait awhile for the next book after this one, it’s a little bittersweet.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. Go back and start at the beginning of this series, Montana Cherries, before reading this book. This is one of those series that is best read from the beginning and in order. There are so many things that happen to the characters and so many things revealed about their childhood as the stories progress, you’d really be missing out if you don’t read them all.

Jaden is the baby of the family and was quite young when their mom died. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t remember or that she didn’t leave him with scars. He is also the one that first realized that their mother had been mentally ill and her actions had messed up the rest of the family in a long-term way. Since Jaden is a getting his Masters in Psychology, he also got himself into counseling right away and spent years slogging through his past with a counselor. But does that mean he’s “cured” or that there aren’t still underlying issues from his childhood? What do you think?

Arsula blew into town in the last book, Montana Mornings, and caught my attention right away. She has a gift of reading people’s dreams. Turns out, it’s much more than that. Arsula is a very intuitive and compassionate person and people are drawn to her. Even Jaden is drawn to her even though he has reason to dislike her. And her methods of helping people in their lives goes against his intellectual book learning ideas. None of that matters in the grand scheme of things since there is a deep connection between Jaden and Arsula regardless of them trying to deny their chemistry.

It surprised me that Jaden is kind of a jerk. Being the baby of the family and knowing that he was raised by Dani more than by their mom, I thought he’d be a bit of a softy. As things play out, the reasons he acts out start to make sense, but it was still surprising to me. The good thing is, Jaden does (eventually) start to see for himself that he can be a selfish jerk. Plus, he has to also be a pretty good person when he’s not in a jerky mood since even his ex-girlfriend still wants to be his friend.

The issues with Jaden’s mom were at the forefront of this story and his problems, but the things she actually did to him felt almost glossed over. One of the things about this series that really gripped me was the experiences the Dalton siblings had as children. We get a bit of an inside look to Jaden’s upbringing before his mom passed away, but we don’t get a lot of details. And I missed those details. I feel for Jaden, but I couldn’t help but think I’m missing something. Although, because of other things happening in this story I almost think we’ll get more of what happened to Jaden when we get Nate’s story.

Nate is the other brother (other than Jaden) that we haven’t seen much of until this book. It seems his wandering ways have become a bit more settled. There are things I wondered about Nate and what he was up to that were addressed in this story and denied, but I’m not quite sure if I believe the denials. We shall see.

Although this story didn’t hit me quite as deep as the previous books in this series, it is still a great read. This author is amazing with expressing the emotions of her characters and really draws me into her tales.

Author Kim Law has once again brought us a story that will burrow into your heart and stay there. Considering when I started this one I wasn't sure I could find the premises I read in the blurb believable, I'd say that's pretty high praise of her writing. This is the fourth book in the Wildes of Birch Bay series but it is easily read standalone. Jaden like the rest of the Wilde's still needs to deal with issues left over from his mother's psychological abuse. He's a wonderful strong character and I enjoyed watching the relationship between him and Arsula evolve and develop. This is a fresh and unique story that I think everyone will enjoy. I definitely recommend.

I received a free, advanced copy of this book from the NetGalley. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

This book is about the youngest of the Wildes, Jaden, who was ignored by his mother from the day he was born. Better late then never, the entire family had gone through individual and group therapy after the abuse by their narcissistic mother. Jaden had decided to go into counseling for that reason, and is close to earning his MA. In town for his brother's wedding, he proposes to his long time girlfriend, but she turns him down, because she has felt for a while that they were really not meant for each other and has been counseled by a dream reader about her dreams. Jaden gets drunk at the wedding, and ends up in Arsula's bed. Although he doesn't know that she is the dream reader, he wakes up angry at her, she throws things at him and he falls down the stairs breaking his ankle.

Arsula Moretti is brilliant; smarter than her MD father and her 3 MD brothers, but instead of following that path, she has chosen to follow the gift that she inherited from her mother's side. A gift of helping others and in her case she is a dream reader. Five months earlier her intuition told her that she was needed in Birch Bay and now she realizes that he is the one she was meant to help. But he does not take her seriously, Yet he wants to stay with her while he is recovering from surgery and rehab. She wants him to deal with the anger still simmering under the surface that he has still not faced and then be ready for the woman he is meant to be with. Is that woman her?

Kim Law is one of my favorite authors and I love the series. However, I don't like Jaden too much and the end is reminiscent of many other "grand gestures" made by book boyfriends who have majorly messed up. Maybe that's where he got the idea. With an MA in counseling and years of therapy, he's lashing out of Arsula is not "how to win friends and influence people". Still the characters are all deftly developed and the storyline compelling. If you have enjoyed the previous books in the series, then this is a must read.

Montana Dreams by Kim Law
This contemporary romance ticks all the boxes: handsome hunks, gorgeous gals, heartbreak, and hope. Which element will win is on the line. Great storyline that earns a 5-Star rating: Must Read.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book and also to the Kim Law that selected me to her review team. The following is my honest opinion of the latest Birch Bay novel from Kim Law.

I have read the other books in this series and was very excited to have the opportunity to review this book. Arsula was a difficult name for me and I seemed to spend more time stumbling over it but based on the dedication page, the author had good reason to use that name. The name itself plays an important role throughout the book, but even though I’ve finished, I still feel like I’m pronouncing it wrong.

The story itself is a great romance between two very opposite characters. Jaden needed Arsula to challenge him and make him realize his character flaws. I felt sorry for Arsula because of the way he talked to her when he’d get upset she didn’t deserve it. She held her own by chucking things at him but that isn’t really a healthy way to handle her anger.

I lost myself in this book and didn’t want to put it down. I was eager to use any free time I could find to get in another chapter- I highly suggest reading the entire series because why stop with just one. The entire Wilde family is worth getting to know!

The Wilde family has had its share of trouble beginning when the now adults of this series were children. Montana Dreams shows that the problems do not automatically go away once adulthood is reached. Instead of being a downer kind of series Kim Law gives us stories of hope, recovery and love. In Montana Dreams there is also a bit of mysticism. What a delightful surprise, keeping Jaden and the reader on their toes.

Arsula is everything that one would not expect as the “dream reader”. She is refreshing and far from the old cliches that could have been easily used. However, that would not have made the book such a great read. I am glad Ms. Law decided not to do this.

Montana Dreams is a charming story that should be relished instead of just read,

I really liked Arsula but it took me a while to warm up to Jaden. I felt sorry for him at the beginning of the story, but that changed as the story progressed, he wasn't so likeable and then by the end, I liked him. Jaden is hurting after his girlfriend decided that she didn't want to be with him anymore. Especially since he was going to propose to her. Jaden tends to lash out and he lashed out at Arsula a few times. She did not let him get away with anything. She did let him know he could be a big jerk. As their relationship progresses, Arsula pinpoints what the problem is with Jaden's relationship with his family. Of course he lashed out at her and ruined things between them. Arsula is dealing with some issues with her dad and Jaden has to come to terms with his own feelings. Will he be able to do that before he drives Arsula away?

Reality is always more difficult to deal with than our dreams. And this story explores and exploits all those points. We know what we want to happen and if we think about it long enough and hard enough, it will happen, right? That’s what the main character seems to think and, come on, he’s a guy so of course he expects it all to go his way! I just love that this author isn’t afraid to deviate from the typical storyline and make the characters sweat a bit, think a lot, and then love with everything they have!

Jaden proposes to his girlfriend, gets dumped moments before his brother’s wedding, and then proceeds to get drunk. And wakes up in the morning with the bridesmaid he escorted down the aisle. That’s not so unusual but when the woman sharing the bed start throwing things at him because he’s being a jerk, he heads for the door and falls down the stairs after being hit with a lamp.

With a broken ankle and nowhere to stay, Arsula offers to let him stay in the converted house that she uses as an office. It’s only fair since she’s the one who caused the accident.

The rest of the story you have to read – I can’t even begin to summarize it for you! Just know that you will thoroughly enjoy it!

I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for the review.

This book has both cursing (including f-bombs) and on-page sex. Neither overwhelms the book, but if you find either of them off putting use your own judgment before reading. This is book four of the Wildes of Birch Bay series, and although reading at least Montana Cherries will give you a lot of meaningful background, this book can stand completely alone.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was not a fan of Arsula from the previous book. Actually, to be totally honest, I was hoping that she wouldn't wind up with any of the Wilde siblings and mentioned it in my review because I just don't care for woo woo stuff in my contemporary romance, so I found her “mystical powers” annoying rather than charming. (That's just my opinion, please don't bash me for my personal taste.) That said, I really, REALLY liked her in this book. Yeah, she still is into the woo woo and I still rolled my eyes at the cheese factor of it all, but I very much liked Arsula as a person and the way that she handled herself. I also liked how she told Jaden off every time he insulted her abilities. It's quite a statement to Ms. Law's writing skills that she could make me side with Arsula over Jaden, even when I kind of agreed with the thought behind what he was saying a lot of the times. I found myself rooting for her hardcore because Arsula was funny, likable, a little hot tempered, but also really sweet and kind. And then there was Jaden. Ah Jaden. He was prickly and a little childish at times – something that he readily admits in his own mind so this isn't me insulting him – but he was also so fragile and so incredibly good that I spent most of the book wanting to hug him because “sometimes even morons need hugs”. Knowing his background and having read the previous books, I absolutely adored Jaden and his grumpiness.

Of course, because this is a Wildes of Montana book, the Wilde family plays a huge part in this story, adding so much awesome to this already great love story. I seriously adore this family, and every scene that happened between the siblings or any scene that had Jenna and Haley in it, made me just crave more of all of them. (The stuff happening with Mr. Wilde however, was beyond heartbreaking and I am dreading that part of the future books.)

I cannot wait for Cord and Nate's books, even though it will mean an end to this series and these siblings that I love so much.

I would highly recommend this story to anyone who has read the previous books – you're going to love Jaden & Arsula – or to anyone who likes a fun opposites attract story. You cannot go wrong with a Kim Law story.
