Logan is a man who carries a lot of baggage and has a lot of demons. He has a bad temper, and is always worried that his father's bad blood runs through his veins and has poisoned him and made him incapable of love. Will Logan ever see what Keely sees in him? See that he's a truly good man? Or will he continue to allow his baggage to keep him from the love he could have with her?

Wow, this romantic suspense is pretty fabulous. The mystery, the case, is top notch and detailed well, there's a lot of action and suspense, and the relationship between Logan and Keely is just as interesting. I may have at times wanted to yell at Logan, but aside from that I really enjoyed Reunited in Danger. I cannot wait for more from this author.

This second chance romance is full of suspense and drama! I enjoyed the criminal suspense of the story. I loved Keely & Logan's history and how they are forced to come together now.

Great story!

This was a great read. It had some intense moments, steamy moments, and mysterious moments. It definitely kept me intrigued throughout the whole book and on the edge of my seat wondering what was next.

Second chance romance and an arresting plot line filled with drama, suspense and a delightful squeeze of love.
Logan and Keely were a couple back then, back before something happened and Logan disappeared saying nothing. Keely is now a social worker with CPS and Logan a police detective. What brings them together is a horrible attack on her father. Her father is a much loved man by all who know him, especially his delightful neighbor next door. He also runs an adoption help service to help young women get to the place they need to be when there is nowhere else to turn. Logan gets involved when he hears about the crime and instinctively wants to protect both her father and Keely. Keely was adopted by Ben and his wife when she was young. He was also a guiding force in Logan's life, his father was a violent man and Logan has a temper, or had. But he still fears his lack of control.
Logan and Keely's history and current state of affairs are threaded through the story as it unfolds with more violence striking close to home and watching them trying to unravel all the clues that seem to criss cross through one place. A place that will involve both of them. Both Logan and Keely are good characters, I liked Keely, she's smart, savvy and very straightforward when it comes to Logan. Logan is a bit sketchy at times. Although after being pressed by Keely does come clean with a couple things.
Lots of twists and turns and at times you think you can see where the story is headed and whoops... crazy u turn and you're wrong yet again. All's well that ends well? Maybe, maybe not.

Reunited in Danger was an enjoyable story. That had suspense, mystery and pockets of action. Not to mention a nice second chance romance between Keely and Logan. Which kept me engaged throughout. Plus, the story kept me guessing until the very end and I liked how the attack on Ben, the missing children and Logan's investigation into human trafficking all came together and created an exciting conclusion to this story.

“Logan. Her hero. The man who fought to make things right, one case, one person, one night at a time.” This quote just about sums up the story. It is a feel good story about two people who want to make the community around them a better place. They also have to struggle to overcome their personal demons and find love and happiness with each other.

We have Keely who ends up having to reunite with her long lost love in trying to find out what happend to her father and a case involving human trafficking, drug wars and other stuff. Keely loved Logan and thought she would marry him and he disappears and here is years later and he is back..It was good second chance compelling story that keeps you on your toes, but dont take my word for it..read it..Enjoy!

A completely action packed and suspenseful novel with the right amount of romance. Keely Allen is a social worker in Baltimore and the town is having tons of reasons to run Keely ragged and leave her feeling lost in a world where children are treated beyond horrible. On top of the drama at work, Keely's father has been attacked in how own home. A 75 year old preacher with a ministry supporting pregnant women and fostering adoptions, Ben's attack in his home have investigators wondering if it's a random burglary or is there something much more nefarious going on.

The investigation leads Detective Logan North back onto the scene. Logan is Keely's former flame, the one who bolted without a word over 10 years ago and then refused her calls only 3 years previously. Logan was raised in a very abusive home and fears he will become his father. In Logan's mind, pushing Keely away is an attempt to keep any future wife or children safe because there is no doubt Keely is meant for him. Only problem is, Logan is once again set to leave town and move to Texas.

When the investigation of Keely at work and Logan on his job all intersect with the crime against Keely's dad the story grows to one of such suspense I couldn't put the book down. Joya Fields write a very fast paced, action packed, and highly entertaining book that sucks you into a story line of human trafficking in the most unlikely of places. Very creative and attention grabbing.

On top of all the mystery and suspense you get Logan and Keely dancing around one another when you want to push them together. With a job waiting for Logan in Texas and Keely in Baltimore, Logan is on the clock to make the biggest decision of his life. can he be better than his father?

Reunited in Danger is a gripping romantic suspense that touches on some difficult subjects while delivering and well-rounded story packed with action, mystery and romance too.

Keely and Logan are strong independent characters with a troublesome past. The pace and flow of the story is well defined, and the emotional component is beautifully written. This was my first read by Joya fields, but it definitely won’t be my last.
