Jessie and Sophie compliment each other very well. Sophie is no prissy girl and she keeps James on his toes! Cowboys are just sexy in general. This is a hot alpha male! What is there not to love. The Bennett brothers seem like good men and have a good fAmily behind them. Their stories should be next. I sure bet that Mark falls HARD AND FAST! Good pace and didn't feel like anything was lacking. Good read!!

I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley at !y request for my honest review. The opinion mentioned is my own. Thank you Net Galley!

Great start on these new series. I loved these two characters and the chemistry they have. James is a rodeo champ who came home for the summer to help on his family's ranch. Sophie is studying to be a veterinarian and she is working with the local veterinarian as an intern for the summer on an internship. I thought these was a sweet and steamy read. I can't wait to read about rest of the Bennett Brothers.I was provided with a advance copy of this book from the publisher via NetGally in exchange for an honest review.

This was a hot, steamy, and quick read that I enjoyed from beginning to end. James is a rodeo champ that has come home for the summer to help with his family's ranch and Sophie is working with the local vet doing an internship for the summer. When they first meet sparks fly and not the romantic kind of sparks but angry sparks as they kind of argue but then they resolve their issues and become close. James is sexy and alpha but has respect for women and loves hard. Sophie is sweet, a hard worker, and can be wild at times. I enjoyed their story and want to read the others brothers stories asap.

Buck Wild is my first book by Lauren Landish, and I’m always a little leery going into a new book from a new to me author. You never know if it’s going to be the best thing you ever read, or wonder how on earth the story someone approved to publish it. Thankfully Buck Wild was an amazing story. Though I don’t normally like first person stories, I really enjoyed that it is told from both James and Sophie’s POV.

James is a rodeo star home during the off season to help the family, and Sophie is a city girl who is an aspiring Vet in town to intern with the local Vet. Right from their first encounter together you can tell that James and Sophie’s chemistry is going to be off the charts, and that first impression doesn’t let you down. But there is more than just great chemistry. They are sweet and funny, with some very real emotion thrown in. Buck Wild was a fun story that had heart.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. This is a new series that centers on the Bennett brothers, Mark, Luke and James. This book centers on James, the youngest brother, who is a professional bull rider. He has come home after his father dies to work on the ranch in the off season. Sophie is working as an assistant to the local vet for the summer before she starts Veterinary school. They start off on he wrong foot, but soon start banging like bunnies. What starts as a summer fling becomes more. What I enjoyed about the book, the Bennett clan, Sophie and all of the secondary characters. What kept this from being a five star review, no real conflict and the sex scenes started to get a little repetitive. Overall a good read, and I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.

This book didn’t have all that much of a plot - just a set-up: aspiring veterinarian mixes it up with a rodeo star who is helping out his family on their ranch after his beloved father has died. His mother makes him apologize and then he and the woman have lots of sex thinking it will just be for the summer. Guess what? It won’t be. In some ways, this seemed a bit like a YA romance. The heroine, Sophie just finished college and is ready to start vet school. James is also young. So they’re figuring out who they are and what they want out of life while having hot sex.

I found the secondary characters more interesting than Sophie and James. They’re both nice people with their futures in front of them, but I found myself more interested in James’ two older brothers and the three brothers from a rival neighboring ranch than I was in Sophie and James. I’m guessing that they’ll be the focus of future novels.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Lauren Landish gave me a new favorite book with Buck Wild. It's humorous and sexy but, mostly it's about Family, Community, and Love.
James came off the Rodeo Circuit to help on the family ranch when his father passed away - having every intention to return to his Nomad ways. What he wasn't expecting was a feisty Vet's Intern to put him in his place.
Sophie's calling is Ranch and Farm animals she just has to finish Vet School and she's golden - she's here for the summer to Intern when she runs into one Cowboy she can't resist.
Will, they end it with a summer fling or will James and Sophie realize that they may have more.
This book was so wonderful and heartwarming I read through without stopping. Bravo Lauren on an excellent book.

This is one super hot cowboy story about James and his brothers along with a sexy hot little city girl, Sophie who is interning to be a large animal veterinarian. This is one genuine good cowboy story full of life and what’s good in it! James is home for the summer to help run the family ranch after his father has passed and taking a breaking from a successful Bull Riding career. These bothers are one respectful group of men to their mother and woman you may just swoon. James gets in Sophie’s face even before meeting her properly and she gives it right back to him. James does not realize it but Sophie will give him a ride for his prize! I enjoyed how these two enjoy the country life, animals and going after what they want. They agree that what they have is a Summer fling and Mama warns James but he doesn’t listen until it hits him in the face. Sophie has had a though life and her brother has done everything possible to help her along the way. They have a special relationship and Sophie needs his approval when she realizes James maybe more than a summmer fling. Can this one of a kind relationship that’s heading in opposite directions at the end of summer be more that they hoped for with a few different decisions along the way? I’m looking forward to the next brothers story! I was provided with an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley.

It's summer and James is back on the family ranch taking a break from the rodeo life he's led for the last eight years. James lives for the rush of the rodeo. He's cocky and awesome at riding bulls and he's got the ego to prove it.
One morning James comes across Sophie in his barn. Sophie is studying to be a large animal vet and has accompanied Doc Jones to James's family ranch; one of the horses is having difficulty birthing.
Sophie locks eyes with James and all is perfect in the world until he opens his mouth to speak. Sophie is a feisty, city girl and when James questions her abilities, she responds in kind. After some contemplation, both parties decide to call a truce and move on in a more professional manner. Well, professionalism is the last thing on their minds. When the attraction they share becomes too hard to contain, it leads to an unforgettable summer. With both heading out after the summer is over, they fall into what they call a casual fling. Fall is on its way and with it comes the rodeo and James's departure.
Is what James and Sophie feel for each other strong enough to last through winter? Neither expected for anything deeper, but fate has other plans.
A CHANCE MEETING THAT RESULTS IN INSTANT ATTRACTION AND INSANE CHEMISTRY !

4*
The Bennett boys James & his brothers Mark & Luke are pulling together in running the ranch after their father’s death.
Things don’t start on an easy footing when James insults Sophie the trainee vets capabilities leaving him with some serious apologising to do.
she’s used to insults so managed to put James in his place, will she accept his apology & offer?
I loved the family & hope there is more from the brothers please.

A super sexy, light, feel good read. No angst, just pure cowboy romance. I can’t say a bad word about the story, the characters or the writing, it was endearing, super sexy and the perfect beach read. James Bennett is a hot as Hades, full on macho bull riding cowboy (although I must tell you, there is no bull riding in the story). He’s respectful to his mother and his father’s memory, he’s not afraid to admit when he’s wrong, and he’s awesome in bed. Sophie Stone is beautiful, she loves animals, especially farm animals (which bodes well for her), she can hold her own when it comes to bad boy cowboys, she’s got her act together, and she’s not afraid of going for what she wants. A summer fling that has the potential to be so much more, if only their lives weren’t heading in opposite directions. I was praying for their happy ever after, although I had no idea how they could achieve it, or even if they wanted it. I can’t wait for book 2, and I know which brother I’m hoping to find out more about next. I was provided with an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This was an ok book for me. I felt the main characters lacked depth and the storyline as well. I was intrigued by the family dynamic and will give the author another chance it was just that this book wasn’t for me.

Great book!! I usually am not to into cowboy type books I'll read them but not my favorite, but this one was awesome!! I can't wait for more!! I'm really hoping Mark and Luke get books!!They are James brothers and this is James and Sophie book, James is a famous bull rider and helps out on his family ranch in his down time, Sophie is interning for the local veterinarian then heading back to school for her vet degree. They meet while delivering a baby horse on James ranch and butted heads right away lol all the characters were so interesting I'm hoping one of the brothers ends up with the neighbors girl I really liked her character and the two families hate each other lol definitely don't miss out on this book! I highly recommend it!! Thank you NetGalley and Montlake publishers for sharing this book with me! Thank you Lauren Landish for another amazing read! I've read many of her books and loved them all!!
