This is the first in a new series by Lori Foster. It is a pretty typical opposites attract trope with some suspense thrown in for added fun.

Brodie and Mary are put together as work associates but quickly both start burning for each other. Lines don't get crossed until they are both in danger and a pick up gone wrong leads assures that the danger is still lurking out there.

Loved all the secondary characters in this one. I hope we get to see more of Mary's "family" as the books progress. Looking forward to reading more about Brodie's brother as well.

Good start to a series. Great set up to the premise of the company the brother's own. The story line between Brodie and Mary was a little...meh...but the promise of more good things to come will keep me reading!

At Mary Daniels first glance towards Brodie Crews, she is completely breathless. In his own way, he is just as affected. She meets him when she hires him as a transporter for a job to acquire rare artifacts. Things get started off on the wrong foot, however. Brodie has a hangover and Mary wonders that he hardly seems responsible enough for the job she needs him to do.

Mary is flummoxed. When she approaches the Mustang Transport company she is immediately worried for her job. It is very important to her and now she is forced to work for a potent guy determined to call her Red. She is serious about what she does and now it appears to her that Brodie could easily upset that.

In many ways the two seem complete opposites. She is conservative and apparently trying very hard to protect her inner shell. Brodie is nothing like her. He seems very outgoing and appears to not take anything too serious. So, Mary’s job and her protected way about herself just might be at risk. The fact that they both share a powerful attraction to one another further complicates things.

Mary’s employer wants unique items and things become very hairy for her and Brodie. Mystery and danger begin to develop in this sizzling romance. Although they spend even more time together due to these difficult circumstances it certainly poses no hardship. It is very clear that Mary and Brodie are perfect for each other in every way that counts.

My review would be remiss if I did not mention Howler, Brodie’s dog, as well as the background behind that. Brodie’s relationship with Howler is absolutely wonderful.

Leave it to Lori Foster for writing another exceptional book that combines sizzling romance, suspense, humor and overwhelming sensitivity. Driven to Distraction is a wonderful start to another new series. It is rather exciting to wonder which character from this engaging book will get their own story.

Many thanks for this ARC to review. This is my honest opinion.

Great read! It's what happens when opposites come together! Mary goes to hire a courier for her employer, she's tried her hardest to be professional but when her target is standing in front of her, sweaty half naked with a woman draped all over him not what she wants to deal with. Brodie just about lost it when the most gorgeous creature came towards him and then offer him a job well he wasn't quite on his best behavior, after all teasing Red was fun. She's straight laced and buttoned up, he's in her eyes rude and crude.that's what makes opposites so much fun! This read is full of humor, sexiness, steamy chemistry and a little intrigue! It has it all!

Mary Daniels and Brodie Crews is the couple that Lori Foster writes a story about in Driven to Distraction. I’ll have to start by saying that I have never read a story about collectors portrayed they way there were in Foster’s story. I had no idea that such a thing existed. I also like the idea of Therman, hiring Mary when she was looking for a fresh start. That fact that he paid her well was a nice touch in the story. It would be so great if this happened in real life because so many people could benefit from well paying jobs when they are trying to rebuild their lives. So, I loved that little bit of hope that the author wrote in there.

The cover and the description of Brodie in the story is super hot. A total necessity in a romance story for me ;) Brodie and Mary start their relationship off a bit rocky. Mary does not want to work with Brodie, but for some reason, Therman thinks they will work well together. In fact, he was right. Not only do they work well together on the job...they work together in other ways as well. Brodie’s dog Howler was hilarious and added a nice touch to the story. I thought sparks started to fly right away. It just took Mary a while to realize it.

Brodie and Mary are a perfect match. Their personalities work great together and Mary really needed someone like Brodie to help her deal with her past. I like the bit of suspense in this book. The anticipation of figuring out what is going on keeps the reader reading until the end. Such a good, fun story. I’m glad that I picked it up.

I wish I could give this `10 stars. The chemistry between Mary and Brodie is hot from the get go. She is a strong woman who has been hurt growing up and she tries to hide her figure in boxy clothes. She firsts meets Brodie when she goes to see him about hiring him as a driver and he is working on his car and he is shirtless and she can't stop looking. Brodie and Mary work together to pick up items her boss is purchasing. I love that he gives her a nickname "Red" right away and eventually she lets him use it. I love his dog Howler and how he has to pretend to eat the food before the dog eats it and talks baby talk to him. Lori always has steam rising from the pages but she gives you some great drama, great characters and a HEA. I love the ending when Brodie wants to thank him for insisting in hiring Brodie for the job so that he and Mary were working together. I love when Brodie told Mary he loved her and she realized why he did it. UUUGGHHH my romantic heart. I wish I was an English major that I could right a better description but if you love Lori Foster books you'll LOVE Driven to Distraction.

Oh my wow! I wish Brodie lived in my town! Mary is very straight laced, trying to remove herself from her past and Brodie is just a hunk taking care of his family. Mary's boss Therman is a bit eccentric and collects odd things. Mary's job, with the help of a driver, is to get the items he's purchased. Since the collecting game can be cutthroat, this can cause problems in the process of getting the items. Brodie is great taking care of Mary, even though she doesn't want him to. The slow build up to the romance is great, and who couldn't love Howler?? I honestly don't think it took me 24 hours to read, I couldn't put it down and needed to finish before I went on with my day. Can't wait for book 2!

Mary Daniels works hard for her boss, but this time she has to work with Brodie. Brodie makes her self control slip and she hates it, but makes him play by her rules. There is someone after them as they make the delivery to where it supposed to go.

This is a pretty good story, it took me awhile to get into it. I liked the part where the goon thought he and Brodie were alone and wanted a good fight, not realizing Mary was there too. Mary was able to sneak up on him and help Brodie win the fight. Knowing that he was caught he just laid on the ground until the cops arrived.

When Mary Daniels sets out on a journey to collect an artifact for her boss she never anticipated it would lead her to love... it was just supposed to be another job. But after she spends copious amounts of time in the car with her sexy chauffeur she begins to see there is a good guy under that playboy facade... and she likes what she sees! As the miles tick by, they begin to wear each other down, and defenses begin to falter... and sparks start to fly!

The moment Brodie Crews meets the woman he is supposed to be transporting across the country for his newest gig, he can't help but be drawn to her, even though he hears the the "not interested" vibes she's sending out loud and clear. She is so put together and slightly secretive, and he senses there is something special there, lying just below her off-putting layer. He just has to find a way to work his way into her good graces, and let him in.

Driven to Distraction is a perfectly blended romance that is certain to give readers a healthy dose of swoons and smiles. The moment you meet Brodie you will understand just what I'm talking about, that man was something else, he had swagger for days! These characters were fantastically drawn, they screamed opposite attract from first glance, but the more I delved into their story, the more I realized that there was commonality there, and that they just might be a perfect match. With touches of suspense, and loads of steamy banter this one will keep you flying through the pages and teetering on the edge of your seat in anticipation. If this first installment in the series is any indication as to what the following installments will hold, I can't wait to get my hands on them... this one was amazing!! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it promises to be a thoroughly satisfying literary ride!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would!
I loved Brodie right from the start! He’s that quiet hero that you instantly fall in love with. His relationship with Howler is priceless and will melt your heart. Especially when you read how they find each other! Those two had me laughing out loud! Brodie’s family means the world to him and you will love how they all pick on each other!
Mary is uptight, stressed, independent and stubborn. She doesn’t know how to be anything else and feels she isn’t deserving of more. She keeps everyone at arm’s length. Then she hires Brodie’s courier service.
Their trips will keep you on the edge of your seat! They bicker and disagree but when Mary finally lets Brodie get close, they SIZZLE!
It was hard not to read this book in one sitting! You get everything from Lori! Well developed characters, plot, mystery, danger, love and family! Of course my heart belongs to Howler!
This book does not disappoint and will literally drive you to distraction because you won’t want to do anything else until you finish it!
I’m ready for Slow Ride and Jack!!
I received and ARC from NetGalley and this is my honest review.

A great start to this fun new series by Lori Foster. Like all of Lori's books once you start it is hard to put down. It has you laughing out loud from the beginning and holds your attention until the very end. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Mary has had a rough life but has overcome it to become a successful, professional and independent woman. Mary's boss insists that she uses Brodie's delivery service to collect the pieces that he adds to his collection. Mary and Brodie bump heads from the first time that she climbs up his never ending front steps. Through their travels they discover that neither are really what they seem and the only question is will they overcome their differences and the danger in their journey to find ever lasting love with each other.

Mary and Brodie are definitely a case of opposites attracting, and she resists from the first. The entire concept seems opposite, the flirty guy falls for the girl, while the closed off girl is determined to keep him at arms length. Of course, they are working in extremely close quarters, he’s her driver/self-appointed protector. The interplay between the two is wonderful and fun to read. Watching Mary learn about family is eye opening. The adventures they go on together while working are a great way for the two of them to get to know each other in difficult circumstances, and the reader to learn the characters. There’s drama, action and adventures.

Lori Foster Driven to Distraction is an interesting take on first impressions are not always the best.

Driven to Distraction is what readers come to expect from Lori Foster with her female leads feisty, somewhat lost, strong willed and seem to take their first impression and hold on to it until finally the male lead has them questioning everything they know.

Brodie is alpha male who protects those he respects. He is a little over the top as most of the men are in these stories.

Road to Love is the start of a new series with that in mind readers are introduced to endless amounts of characters. Characters pop off the pages while others fade into the background waiting for their story to be told. Lori Foster is able to create a beautiful landscape that will have readers wanting more.

The characters comes to life in this action packed romance that has readers wondering what is so important that someone is will to kill another?

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Harlequinn for the advance copy of Lori Foster Driven to Distraction

Lori Foster never disappoints. She writes one good book after another! Driven to Distraction is a well written, suspenseful and highly entertaining story. The cast of characters is strong and full of multi-faceted individuals. The goods guys are so good and the bad guys deeply evil.

I always love a heroine who doesn't see herself as beautiful and a man who can see past the woman's self-camouflage. Mary has only ever been able to rely on herself. She keeps everyone at arm's length because no one has been there for her.

Brodie is awesome. He sees Mary's beauty where she doesn't. He's solid and a good man. Despite Mary's initial preference for his brother, the two quickly form a strong work relationship and it's not long before they are more than work partners.

It's fun to watch Mary work out of her cocoon and spread her wings. It's even better to see her realize that she's actually grown close to those around her who she's been trying to keep at arm's length.

Foster add plenty of good intrigue too with a harrowing storyline that endangers Mary and Brodie's lives. Suspense, conflict, attraction, love - this book has it all.

New new new series! Does not connect to any of the previous works. Love it.

Mary is unbelievably uptight. She loves her job and her employer is the closest thing she has to a family. Brodie is a bad boy in a fast car and tight jeans. Hard to resist. Together they are a great team making acquisitions for their wealthy employer. They prove that they have each other's back, and front. The romance is fun and fast paced. Great read.

My only complaint. It must be mentioned. A common theme with Lori Foster is strong women. Strong women that are unwilling to follow directions in dangerous situations. They call out their men for being chauvinistic, even when doing so jeopardizes everyone's safety, just to make the point that they can handle themselves.

I've enjoyed Lori Foster's books for quite some time now and her books never feel stale or same ole, same ole. Driven to Distraction is a fresh book with an awesome romance and a little mystery/thriller thrown in. Mary and Brodie are the perfect pair to team up and get the job done for Therman. I've never read a book that featured a courier before and really enjoyed this aspect. It was thrilling and fun and provided a different take on someone who collects.

Mary and Brodie were good together, I appreciated how he handled things in Mary's past. My only complaint was that once Mary decided she was all in for Brodie she changed her looks. While I appreciate someone owning their looks and no long hiding behind boxy clothes and whatnot it bothered me a bit that she did it more for Brodie less for herself.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy, My copy had some electronic editing issues, which I assume will be fixed by release date. Lori starts this book off hot and steamy! Mary's a prickly pear, determined to be circumspect and proper, removed from all things and he's determined to bring out the real Mary Daniels. While he drives her to collect her boss's purchases they find themselves in danger as thugs attempt to steal and shoot at them. I loved the chemistry between these two, but the suspense part of the story felt very disconnected. It felt like I was reading two different stories forced to be together and detracted from this great couple's story.

I usually like Lori Foster but this book was so...meehhh. The characters were stereotypical, the story was not believable at all and in the end it took me ages to read it all. And I will not read the others.

You expect the hero of a Lori Foster book to be sexy and charming but Brodie is so much more! He had me hooked when the love of his life was introduced, his dog Howler. The romance between him and uptight Mary is pretty awesome too. The evolution of their relationship is swoon-worthy and the action kept me hooked until the very end. A must read! Can't wait to see what happens in book two!
