I enjoyed "In My Mind's Eye" by Jan Morris from the first page. It is the author's diary entries, published for us to enjoy. The author is now elderly and has many observations on her age and life. I highly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I liked that rather than just a memoir it was the author's personal diary entries.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the Publisher for providing me with a copy of this book. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
A long=time fan of Morros’s work, I’m greatly enjoying her diary entries. They reveal a mind that’s as nimble as always, full of sprightly observations and full of mordant allusions. I look forward to completing the book, but sure it’s among the best of its form I’ve come across in some time.
