This is a unique book that will get students thinking differently about their usual diet. Why not make a meal out of invasive plants? I've eaten dandelions in the past, and they are tasty! In spring I'll have to look for some of these other plants.
This book was visually appealing and well written with facts and information for a younger reader. I’m. It saying I’ll start eating bugs, but I definitely considered some of the greens and enjoyed reading this information. I can see some kids getting into it.
An interesting and informative read on how we can adapt our diet to positively impact our environment. This book is full of facts on "unusual" food sources such as insects, kudzu and foraging for wild greens. Equal parts gross and fascinating, this book will show how to change the way we look at invasive species, and most importantly-recipes!
