It's nice to find more holidays being written about! I love Holi and can't wait until it shows up where I live. In the meantime, this book is a good beginning for teaching about holidays in other lands. This one will really grab kids attention as it involves lots of colored powder and water for make one wonderful colorful mess!

I liked this a lot. The focus on photography reminded me of Rina Singh’s book of the same name, but this one is presented more factually. They would complement each other quite nicely. Both of my daughters loved the colourful pictures.
