Can't say this was my favorite biography. Victoria certainly has passion for her subject - no surprise, he was her dad! - but the entire experience reads incredibly dry. She also has a penchant for diverging to other topics that have little to do with her dad.

This book is well written and presents the story of a fascinating man in the rich historical context of world history as well as an insightful look into the world of art, theater, and screen.

Wonderfully written. I was surprised to discover that Vincent Price was born in the USA. Because I had seen him on Masterpiece Mystery, I thought he was born in England. I enjoyed the stories about Vincent Price.

Fans of Vincent Price will love this biography by his daughter, Victoria Price.

I would love to talk about how much I enjoyed this book but unfortunately I can't. Not because the content wasn't any good but because whoever was in charge of formatting the book didn't do so properly (I'm assuming the company publishing it). Rather than present this as a kindle book (my chosen form of reading these days) I downloaded it only to find images of the pages from the book, so small that I was unable to read it. The forward is there to read but not the book itself. Perhaps I'll find a copy of this to purchase one day and write something better about it. But this version (and hopefully those who pay for a kindle version) is not something I could recommend.

I am such a huge fan of Vincent Price that I was honored to be able to read it. His daughter, who wrote this book obviously did so with love. She included so much of his history and quotes that it made me feel as if I knew him. There were many anecdotes about people he had worked with and I enjoyed reading them all. The pictures were wonderful and you can see how devastatingly handsome he was. So much joy in living and a love of life with many interests such as growing orchids, cooking and all manner of arts. I received this book from Net Galley and Cover Publishing for a honest review and no compensation otherwise.
