This book is intriguing, it's all about exploration of the self, and Irene is at the center of it all and she learns that she's got it all, if only she could believe in herself. It's a good story and I yearned for a better format in the writing, because the author jumps into Maddalena's story and before you can process it, we are back in the present in Irene's life and it was not to my liking. I wonder how it'd be if broken into parts, presenting one part as Irene getting the story and reading it and then her side of the story.
Thank you Netgalley for the eARC.
