After finishing Kiss of Frost I couldn't help but dive into Dark Frost. I was completely captured by this world and after the events of Kiss of Frost I couldn't not read Dark Frost straight away. Dark Frost was just as addictive as the others in this series. I couldn't put it down and once again I was reading constantly until the book was over.

Dark Frost sees the Mythos Academy Series get a whole lot more serious. The bad guys are back and in full force more than ever and Gwen and her friends have to band together to battle them. Right from the first chapter Dark Frost is packed full of action that has you sat on tenter hooks unable to read fast enough as you just HAVE to know what it going to happen next. Dark Frost is the third book in a six-part series and Jennifer Estep has definitely hit her stride with this one. She has upped the antics and made everything more action-packed, more deadly and more addictive.

Dark Frost was just so amazing because so much happened in it. The relationships between the characters changed and at parts I was so annoyed at some of my favourite characters but it all works out because they realise more dangerous things are happening and they need to band together to survive. The romance is put on hold a little bit but I really didn't mind because the storyline is so fast-paced that you are just caught up in all of the feels due to what is happening.

Mythos Academy was fast becoming one of my favourite YA series before I read this installment and now it is definitely one of my favourites. Dark Frost was most definitely a game changer and I can predict the other books in the series from now will be darker and more dangerous and I cannot wait to live it. Loved every moment of it and if you haven't read this series I highly suggest that you do. Fantastic.

Unfortunately. I was unable to finish this book and have to put it on my DNR list.
I was unable to connect with the character and therefore unable to get invested in this story.
I hope in the future I might try to revisit this series.
