As a champion bull rider, Jason Waters knows a thing or two about coming out on top. The award winning rider has earned just about every award that could be given out in the ring. After a serious injury, Jason decides to head into retirement. With competition a thing of the past, Jason devotes his time training horses for deserving individuals. A task that keeps Jason’s love of horses front and center in his life.
One thing Jason has always had pounded in his head is the ultra conservative values of his parents. Their views on women have led Jason to harbor a secret that no one knew the bull rider could desire. Jason wants nothing more than to live out his fantasy of having a woman fulfill his every sexual need. One that will bend to Jason’s will, and takes the role of submissive to heart. No one could fulfill this requirement in Jason’s life until the moment that Simone came to town.

With a charity calendar in the works, Simone travels to Kentucky to photograph Jason in his realm. The two found comfort in the company of the other, but Jason was hesitant to share his fantasy with Simone. When Simone shares with the rugged bull rider her ‘other occupation’, Jason slowly realizes that there might be someone who could share in his fantasies. As Simone works to show Jason the sexual freedom in exploring his every desire, the two begin to realize that their attraction is more than surface deep. Can the two find solace in their mutual attraction? Will Jason shut down the possibilities that are just waiting to be explored?

Oh Jason…..what a tantalizing fantasy lives in your head. This cowboy certainly knows how to keep a gal entertained!! Picture Perfect Cowboy is definitely a great addition to the Original Sinners Series. Fans of Tiffany Reisz have followed Nora, Soren and Kingsley through many trials and tribulations. Jason & Simone’s journey will lead us right back into the path of Nora and Soren!! Simply put….I couldn’t get enough of this cowboy and his explorations!!

Dive into the country life of Kentucky and let Jason and Simone treat you to a sensual exploration that will leave you panting for another trip into the lives of our favorite SINNERS!! Well done Tiffany….well done!!

This story was fun and sexy! I loved how Simone helped Jason figure out his dominant side and how not to be ashamed of it. They turned out to be such a cute, lovey couple, but still extremely sexy together. I loved the bonus at the end with Professor S!

A pretty good and quick read. I was a little disappointed because I wanted a bit more background on the main characters (like their lives, flashbacks, etc). I felt that their "coming together" was a bit rushed and unrealistic. They'd just met and know absolutely nothing about the other but runs full-fledge into a "relationship"? Overall, the writing was excellent, it flowed and there was never a dull or dragged on moment within the book. The "lesson" scenes between the characters were off the charts hot and sexy but I wish there had been a bit more character development.

YEE-HAW!!

Jason Waters is a man everyone who knows about him admires. A role model, and the perfect gentleman. If only they knew what thoughts and desires run through his head. He’s never admitted to anyone what he truly wants from a woman - that is until he meets Simone Levine, and all his dreams soon become reality!

Confession? This is my first Tiffany Reisz book! I know right?! I met her at a book signing earlier this year. Her queue was crazy busy, and everyone was just so excited to meet her – turns out she was absolutely lovely! So, I thought I’d give Picture Perfect Cowboy a try. OH WOW!! I was hooked from the start - her writing just totally pulled me in, and now I understand why people love her books!

A definite 5 star read.

I think all Tiffany Reisz books should come with a fan. There were moments when my face would just heat up and I would have to stop reading and grab a drink of cold water. As always I enjoy Ms. Reisz' writing. She takes us on this crazy ride into the world of The Original Sinners. Jason and Simone's story is actually the "cutest" out of all the Tiffany Reisz' books that I have read. But don't be fooled by the word "cute". The steam meter is extremely high in this book. This is an ABSOLUTE must read!!

Can an Original Sinners book be sweet? Why yes, yes it can! Tiffany never disappoints... NEVER. I'm pretty sure her grocery lists would have me spellbound at this point. Picture Perfect Cowboy was as close to a typical contemporary romance as the sinners can get, which was FANTASTIC for this lover of kismet connections! I loved Simone and Jason's chemistry, their communication and their discovery of each other. Not to mention their scenes had me one handed reading several times, LOL! Throw in a few cameos of my favorite Mistress and Priest and what we have is yet another 5 star OS story y'all! You don't want to miss this one <3

An adorable spin-off of the beloved Original Sinners series, Picture Perfect Cowboy is a great introduction to the series and also works as a stand-alone. Simone is sweet, but fun, and Jason is quiet but personable. Bonus: Soren and Mistress Nora make a short appearance at the end!

Disclaimer: I received this from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. Also, I love all of Reisz' previous books.

(trigger/content warnings: BDSM, Dom/sub relationship, 'ownership,' everything that could come with that I guess? Along with Jason's past childhood abuse from his father)

If you're starting with this one, I guess you technically could, but you would definitely not get as much out of it. It made me stupidly happy to see Simone getting a HFN and to see how she turns to Nora when she doesn't know what to do.

And how this all feels very realistic. They just met, sure, and they're heavily in lust and like each other a lot - but neither of them think they can change their lives because of this , supposedly, small thing. And they're trying to be logical about it.

I love Simone, I'm not sure when I got so attached to her and I didn't realize until I was reading this book, but it was a ton of fun to get to see from her POV. And to get to see Sora (+ Nora) from her POV, as well. And Jason was fun - I've missed the horses and such, it was nice to be back, and this was a much lower stress environment. And he's just such a genuinely good guy, he wants to do the best he can and never wants to hurt anyone.

If you want to just jump into this, I'd say go for it, but also - the whole Original Sinners series is fucking incredible. The characters are some of my favorite, you can't convince me they're not real.

Picture Perfect Cowboy is pretty much a picture perfect book. Romantic and incredibly sexy, this story manages to also be a lot of light-hearted fun considering it is centered on pure kink. And then, of course, there were those one or two moments that brought (happy) tears to my eyes. Yes, ‘perfect’ is the appropriate word alright.

Picture the scene. On one side you’ll find your cowboy, a former bull-rider, all male and, apparently, in full control of his life and yet deeply ashamed of his fantasies when it comes to women. On the opposite side you have Simone, a professional submissive who has long since left any trace of shame about who and what she is behind. Their worlds are miles apart yet the attraction between them is instant and undeniable.

In fact, it’s fair to say that our cowboy is somewhat out of his depth next to the very experienced Simone. He may have fantasized about dominating a woman for a long time (and have felt guilty about those fantasies for just as long), but that doesn’t stop him from being horrified when he discovers he’s broken Simone’s skin and has drawn (a miniscule amount of) blood. It takes Simone talking sense to calm him down again:

“If you want to respect women, respect the real woman in front of you, not some fake fantasy idea of what women are supposed to be like.”

From that moment forward it is almost smooth sailing all the way. Almost… Because the believe system that Jason has been bullied into over twenty-nine years can’t be destroyed in four short days. Not even when he’s been able to be his true self for the first time in his life during those four wonderful days. Not even when he knows he’s fallen…hard and, not even when he knows those feelings are returned.

The crisis, when it hits is harsh and, thankfully, short-lived. What’s more, it was necessary drama. Without it even I, who hates angst with a vengeance, would have said this story was too much…too easy. As it is, this is pretty much an insta-love sorta romance that works perfectly. I never doubted that this was the meeting of two souls who were meant to be together. The conflict and the way in which it was resolved again, only emphasized the rightness of Jason and Simone’s connection.

Of course this wouldn’t be an Original Sinners story without Nora and Søren. While they don’t feature on the page a lot, they shine whenever they do and Nora, as always, is good for a few comments and one-liners that made me grin from ear to ear. Such as the following text exchange between Simone and Nora:

““That’s not helping,” Simone replied. “I’m trying not to fall in love with him.”
“If he’s nice, sexy, and knows how to spank, what’s stopping you?”
Fair question.

What I love about Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners series is that while her characters would agree that sex is serious business, there’s always the emphasis on fun. No matter how hard the domination or how total the submission, regardless of pain inflicted, there’s always humor, always a lighthearted moment or comment to keep the scene from getting too intense. And I think it’s in those light-hearted moments that I fall for these characters the hardest.

The blurb on Amazon describes this book as: ‘the perfect jumping-on point for new readers! And I agree. This book gives you a wonderful taste of the world the Original Sinners live in and shows off Tiffany Reisz’s wonderful voice in the best possible. Having said that. In the Original Sinners series the stories hide layers upon layers of under the surface intrigue that doesn’t reveal itself until the very end. Picture Perfect Cowboy is a simpler story, without hidden meanings and secrets lurking in the background, which is exactly how this story needs to be told. I guess this is a gentle introduction to the magical, kinky, and utterly enthralling world that is The Original Sinners’ universe.

This book ends with a free bonus short story called "Flogging 101" wherein Professor Søren and Mistress Nora give Jason a flogging lesson and Nora has the opportunity to show both Jason and the reader why she’s such a remarkable and delightful character.

““If you break her heart, they’ll never find your body.”
Jason swallowed. “I guess you know people”, Jason said, trying not to look terrified. Mistress Nora seemed like the sort of gal who knew “people.”
“No,” she said. “I am people.”

Long story short. Picture Perfect Cowboy is a delightful, incredibly sexy, yet at times deeply touching story. It once again reinforces Tiffany Reisz’s position as the queen of kink in my universe. Her place at the top of my insta-buy, must-read authors’ list also remains intact.

Tiffany Reisz is the queen of her genre and all things kinky. Her style of written draws you in and you lose yourself in the story. I enjoyed this book as I have all her others, this is a reprint but who cares. Erotica is her thing and she makes it your thing too.

Picture Perfect Cowboy is a fantastic addition to the Orginal Sinners world. This is a lighter story compared to most stories in this series, but reads perfectly as a standalone, and would be a great introduction for newbies to this author's work.

This is a fast-paced novella with tons of heat and chemistry. I enjoyed watching the characters come into their own with their sexual preferences, and how the author showed us the struggles and drama associated with the lifestyle. You also get wit and humor that makes each story this author writes a favorite. I also enjoyed Nora and Soren, of course.

This is a quick and sexy read and is totally worth the one-click.

This was a hard one for me to finish and I struggled to DNF but figured I made it through 69% of it, might as well keep going. Although the blurb sounded intriguing and the cover nicely presented the characters didn't really pull any emotional reaction from me while reading. Turned out this read was not for me.

Jason “Still” Waters is a retired champion bull rider who lives a quiet life on his horse farm in Kentucky. At least it’s a quiet life until he has to sub in for a friend and pose naked for a charity calendar. Jason’s already out of his comfort zone when he meets gorgeous photographer Simone Levine, but then she knocks him for a loop by bringing out the secret that he’s long been trying to hide. Jason’s a dominant, but his ultra conservative upbringing makes him ashamed and afraid to act on his fantasies. But with a little help from Simone, a professional submissive, Jason may just find the courage to embrace his kinky side.

Picture Perfect Cowboy is utterly divine! It’s sexy, sweet, and oh-so-much fun to read. Jason just about melted my heart. He’s not just a drop-dead sexy cowboy (though that doesn’t hurt), he’s kind, sweet, and polite enough to make you swoon. He’s also a man at war with himself. To call his upbringing strict would be an understatement and it isn’t easy for him to overcome that and accept that (1) he’s a dominant and (2) there’s absolutely nothing wrong or bad about what he enjoys. I loved watching Simone help him come into his own, to overcome what was drilled into his head and find joy with someone whose kinks complement his own.

As for Simone, she’s a delight. She’s bright, funny, generous, and open. She’s a vibrant heroine who lit up the page and I adored her from the very first. Simone loves Jason’s brand of dominance and she’s patient, honest, and open with him. She’s a wonderfully sweet and bubbly heroine who has a spine of steel. I loved watching her and Jason explore a master/slave relationship. They’re hot as hell together, but what’s more, they click on every level. They fall in love fast and hard and it’s easy to see why – these two are made for each other.

Picture Perfect Cowboy is part of Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners world, but it easily stands alone. But never fear: Søren and Nora do appear and they are a wonderful addition to this story whether you’re an old fan or are just diving into the Original Sinners. Every book I’ve read by Tiffany Reisz has been nearly impossible to put down and this book continues that streak. Her characters are always compelling and the pages of her books seem to fly by. If you love sexy cowboys, vivacious heroines, and a sweet but kinky romance, Picture Perfect Cowboy is the book for you!

Oh wow...again..it always amaze me how the author made me cringe and turn on at the same time, she always brings D/s relationship to another level.
This one is another favorite for me from Tiffany Reisz. A hot dominant cowboy who's unsure and worried about his fantasy and a sweet eccentric photographer who's a pro at being a submissive. Oh yes it has complicated written all over it. I like that it's not just a full blown D/s from beginning, there's doubts and concerns, anxiousness and uneasiness along the way. The story shows that D/s is not an easy relationship to go with. This book got everything, the drana, the feelings, the frustrations, and the steaminess that off the charts. And let's not forget those strong unique characters that got me hooked and root for them from the get go.

If you love super steamy and intense bdsm romance read, this is the book for you.

Hot & Sweet! Oh my Picture Perfect Cowboy was an incredibly, enticing, entertaining, reading experience, because the dynamics and the coupling was so freaking, sweet, sexy and engaging. And it’s freaking erotic. Holy hotness....It’s naughty in all the best way and the kink entices and excites.
Jason Water has money, fame and a horse farm in Kentucky. A retired World Champion Bull-Rider who is living a quiet, humble existence. Struggling with a secret that he hasn’t told anyone about, his sexual fantasies, that are in complete opposition with his strict gentleman upbringing. When he is is asked by a injured friend to take his place and pose nude for a charity calendar he is totally taken back by the pink haired photographer.
Simone Levine lives in New York City and is a city girl through and through. . She is a Professional Submissive and a photographer. She is strong, sweet and stands up for herself. But when she has to coax the clothes off her new subject for a charity calendar, she finds that they have more in common than she would have ever dreamed. Happily eager to help Jason fulfill his fantasies Simone stays a few days. But what will happen when she must return to her work and her city? Will these two find a HEA? And what will Jason’s family think of Simone?
This was full of humor, mischief, sexiness and kink. But it was also cute, heartwarming and sweet. Such a light refreshing approach by Tiffany Reisz, when the Submissive teaches the Dom. Loved every minute of it.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jason feels flawed deep in his soul, no matter his perfect manners, respectful morals, accomplishments and successes. His new Kentucky horse ranch is a new beginning. A reboot in his life. Will he discover the "right" man he secretly wants to be or settle for the man he was raised to be?

Simone has grown confidently into her own woman and is unabashedly content in her life in New York. Kink is her community, but she is so much more than that one single definition. Reaching out her hand, might she be open to caring about a conflicted, conservative Montana-bred cowboy?

Interest sparks after a naked cute-meet at a library for a fund raising photoshoot. Both opposites attract and like-meets-like deliciousness...instant and curious. Me likey.

Still, so much sweetness and thoughtfulness between these two as they built trust on their kink journey, it almost overshadowed the smexy times for me. All that grinning between them, floggers, ponies, and pink champagne giggles. Almost.

Nah! Let the free-spirited Tiffany Reisz good times roll on in a safe and consensual kink journey. Only from this author can I feel D/s can be #happykink LOL. Add in that mutual respect thingy and we have one prospective picture perfect love flush in the cusp of bloom.

For the first half of the story.

Then real life knocks on the door in the form of...well, you'll just need to read that angst all on your own ;)

Knottin' more to see here, people, but two kinky, grinning fools, their hopes toward possibilities, and eyes on a box o'toys...please and thank you!
4 solid pink ☆☆☆☆

This is actually only my second book I've read by Ms. Reisz and I must say I undertand completely why she has such a huge following of loyal readers.

Jason "Still" Waters retired from the Rodeo while he could still walk. As a favor to a friend he is filling in to be Mr. November in a charity calander sans clothing.

Simone is a photographer and Pro Sub. Imagine her surprise when she meets Jason and can feel the underlying struggle and need buried deep within him. After getting him relaxed enough to go through with the photo shoot she decides to give him a little push and an offer of her services to discover exactly what he needs and has been denying himself for so long.

I actually didn't even read the blurb for this one. I hit the request button on NetGalley & hoped for a copy. This is a short novella but it packs one wallop and is smokin' hot!!!

Saddle up ladies it's time to Save a Horse and Ride a Cowboy ;)

Picture Perfect Cowboy is a standalone novel in the Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz. I can vouch that’s a total standalone since I have only read two of the books in the series. I never felt lost. I was excited to read this book since I read the preview at the end of The Chateau. I do love my cowboys!

Jason “Still” Waters is a retired World Champion bull-rider turned horse trainer. He is a very well-manned southern boy who grew up in a strict religious family. He never thought he would be posing buck-naked for a calendar. Even for charity. However, he never broke a promise so he was doing exactly that. With a pink-haired, tattooed, nose-pieced beautiful photographer from New York City. He didn’t know it at the time but she was everything he needed. Desired only in his fantasies. Ones he never spoke of. Ones he was ashamed to admit until she walked into his life.

Simone loved her job as a photographer but she also loved her other job. A pro-sub. No sex was involved in her line of business. She was there for the kink. But, right now she was taking pictures of this cowboy who was unexpected. He was quiet, polite, reserved. That was until he said he wanted to know more about her other job as a pro-sub. She never saw that coming but she would never turn her back on someone in the community. Unless, it was to be spanked.

Jason and Simone’s relationship is about discovery. Jason letting himself grow. For Simone to show him that he isn’t some kind of freak for having a kink. A sexy as fuck kink. To be Dominant. To be his own man. To let himself lose control with the right woman. She only has a few days until she heads back to New York and reality. What will happen when she goes home?

I thought this was one hell of a sexy read. I fell for the characters. They are opposites on paper but not off it. A total “Don’t judge a Book for its Cover moment.” I loved that it was about the Dominant discovering themselves and not the sub. It made it fresh.

Overall...I loved it. The characters. The story. The heat. The connection. The banter. It was all tied together perfectly.

Quotes:

“So what are you, Jason?” she finally asked.
“Damned if I know,” he said.

“I need to believe I’m a good man,” he said. “I don’t know if I can be that or do that and also be a good man.”

“My body belongs to you,” she said. “Every inch.”

5 Stars

Wildly erotic and romantically sweet, Picture Perfect Cowboy was a fast-paced sizzling treat. I love everything Original Sinners and will jump at any opportunity to get lost inside Tiffany Reisz' exquisitely kinky and deliciously taboo world. This time, I found myself on a seemingly quiet ranch in the middle of Kentucky, falling quickly for the reserved and gentlemanly retired championship bull rider Jason "Still" Waters and his free-spirited pink hair sprite, Simone. What started as a good deed that was done in the name of charity turned into steamy lessons in BDSM 101 for a man coming to terms with his hidden Dominant ways.

Jason is a man living with secrets resulting from his strict and rigid upbringing. He's a Dom, trapped inside his mind, as his suppressed lustful desires are held prisoner to his family's harsh traditional views and severe opinions. But meeting Simone, the photographer coordinating the charity calendar photo shoot and professional sub, changed him completely. Being a good little submissive, she becomes Jason's temporary slave, encouraging him to unleash the true Master hidden beneath the surface while opening his eyes to a whole new shiny and kinky world. And oh boy was their chemistry was instantaneous, explosive and heart-thumpingly erotic.

I adored how Simone selflessly and sincerely gives all of herself to Jason. In her submission, she rewards him with the gift of freedom, providing everything he needs sexually and emotionally. In turn, she finds the perfect Dom that hopefully can become a permanent presence in her life. There are times when Jason succumbs to the prejudices of his myopic family, frustratingly, but all that is Simone guides him through the rough waters. I completely love these two together. From off the charts passion, to laugh out loud moments, this bull rider and his "spanky" are picture perfect together.

Another outstanding sexy, stirring and passion-filled read for OG Sinner fans! I truly enjoyed meeting this smoldering cowboy and his quirky girl, as well as catching up some of my all-time favorite kinksters ~ Mistress Nora and the larger than life character that is Søren. I will never get my fill of them and perpetually crave to see just a little bit more into their crazy, taboo relationship.
