Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I was actually very excited for this ARC since I couldn't get into the earlier books with the Church being involved. Sadly I found myself a bit disturbed the reasoning behind Cowboy's reasons for dominance etc. Still FLove this author, just not this story so much; it was ok reading though.
Thank you to NetGalley for an ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
First, I have to admit, at one point I had to click out of the book and make sure it was written by Ms. Reisz because it was sooo sweet. I'm used to a little more bark and bite (or ball-gag and cat o'nines) with her novels. Not that it wasn't written very well, because it was. It was absolutely everything you'd expect from a Tiffany Reisz novel. Stellar writing, sensational characters and smut so spicy your mouth is on fire while you're reading. Yeah, I haven't figured out how she does it either. However, this one also had the sweet factor in spades. Which, was a nice treat, although a bit unexpected in the Original Sinners world. This story, written on the fringes of the OS universe, did give us a nice cameo of our beloved favorites... which made me miss them all the more. and wish they had been more heavily featured. I know, there's no pleasing me! 3.75 stars.
***4.5 ‘Kink And Crazy Aren’t The Same Things’ Stars”
Confession: I haven’t read all the of the books in the Original Sinners Series, well, in fact I’ve only read the first book..I know. I know. Don’t shoot me. Not my norm at all, but at least I’ve read a book in the series and have some knowledge of Nora, Soren and Kingsley right?
Right.
So why did I jump at the chance to read this one?
The cover? The short blurb that peaked my interest? The fact that it is a standalone?
I’m pretty sure it was a combo of all three and my curiosity getting the better of me. And all I can say is that I’m damn happy I went with my gut because this was a great read. Smexy as all get out, but also so sweet. I know you’re thinking, if you’ve read any of the authors other books that is, “Sweet? Really?” Yup! Sweet and it actually upped the smexy exponentially for me in all the best ways and kept me turning the pages until there were no more words to read.
I loved Simone and Jason, individually and as a couple. Simone was simply awesome. I loved how comfortable she was in her own skin. Open, honest and compassionate with a good dose is sassy tossed into the already potent mix and she is someone I’d want to call friend easily. Jason is a really good man. Polite, laid back and compassionate. He really is the total package, especially after he learns to embrace all aspects of his personality.
Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun, and was an irresistible mix of smexy and sweet. I loved how Simone opened Jason’s eyes to the world of kink and the goodness that could come from it while Jason gave her the comfort, passion and domination she craved. The little bump in their road wasn’t a surprise but I really liked how it was resolved and how it all worked out for them in the end.
This was definitely a fun read for me. While the smexy wasn’t vanilla the relationship that grew between Simone and Jason was and it was the perfect balance for me. And I now have the urge to read the rest of the series after getting to spend a little time with Nora and Mister S, though this can definitely be read as a stand-alone. Also, for those of you new to the kink/BDSM/Ds world I think this would be a great intro read to the lifestyle and hopefully better understanding of it.

Are you not sure, kinky erotica is for you, but you are ready to give it a try? Picture Perfect Cowboy by Tiffany Reisz is that kind of sexy romance which can help you decide. It's brilliantly written, wisely informative and highly entertaining. Pure deliciousness. And when you are ready for the big league, there will be the whole Original Sinner series for you. I'm so jealous that all that fabulous adventures are ahead of you! Because trust me, it will be a fantastic ride. But be prepared, this author's work is as addictive as drugs. Usually, I can't put her books down. Seriously, I devour them in one sitting. Just like I did with this one. It was so easy to fall in love with Jason and Simone. Maybe the story itself was a bit predictable, yet I enjoyed immensely. Plus I was so happy to meet again with my favorites, Nora and Soren, in the bonus short story.
I received this book from net galley in exchange for my honest review.
Jason "Still" Waters' life looks perfect from the outside—money, fame, and the words "World Champion Bull- Rider" after his name. But Jason has a secret, one he never planned on telling anybody...until he meets Simone. She's the kinky girl of his dreams...and his conservative family's worst nightmare.
To be honest I really struggled through this book. I found zero chemistry between Jason and Simone. Although I love the landscape of Kentucky country life, I just couldn’t buy their relationship. Found myself forced to finish this book.
This is the tenth book in this series by this author. Wow, what a fantastic well written story. This story is sweet and hot and steamy in all the right places. The characters are amazing and well written, they have instant chemistry between them. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
Highly recommended read

Oh my gosh I loved this book so much! Jason's mix of totally decent, polite masculinity and uncertainty and innate dominance is intoxicating! Simone's confidence and feminine strength is the perfect match for him. Reisz couldn't have written a cowboy character I could possibly have loved more. I also loved how she showed how much a dominant could learn from a submissive. It was a nuanced reading of that relationship that I felt transcended the oft-stereotypical views of BDSM relationships. A new favorite!
I loved this decadent romance between Jason and Simone!
Simone is a NYC photographer and professional kinkster who travels to Kentucky to capture retired bull-riding champion Jason for her latest calendar project. Friendly small talk reveals that she might know a thing or two about a subject of interest to Jason, though his upbringing has taught him that such interests should never be pursued. Knowing it's time he made his own choices, Jason asks Simone to teach him how to explore his darkest desires in a safe and consensual manner.
Simone is more than ready to show Jason that his feelings aren't wrong, they're just better expressed among like-minded friends, and what happens between two consenting adults is simply no one else's business. As they spend more and more spankalicious time together, their feelings deepen and they both find an exhilarating freedom in the intimacy they share.
While there's one scene set in Simone's club in NYC, this book is different than the usual BDSM club romance. It focuses almost entirely on just what works for Jason and Simone, their relationship together, and the unorthodox methods they enjoy. Set against the backdrop of Jason's judgmental conservative upbringing and his family's determination to shun everything and everyone they consider deviant, the conflict that Jason has to resolve goes much deeper than just accepting his unusual preferences. He's got to put everything on the line to prove to himself, and to Simone, that he's ready to be his own man.
The intimate scenes are as hot as they come, but this romance has a strong emotional foundation that makes it so much more than just a Dom/sub relationship. It's beautifully written with memorable characters and a love story that'll take your breath away. I couldn't love this book more, and highly recommend it for readers who want to experience a little kink in a non-club setting. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC! I didn’t care for it, however, and would prefer not to leave a negative review.
So I read and really enjoyed the Men at Work series by Tiffany Reisz. I saw the cowboy on the cover of Picture Perfect Cowboy and thought this would be another cute and sweet romance in the same vein, but with cowboys. Well, I was wrong.
This book has a lot of bondage in it that I was not prepared for. I didn’t find any of it horrifying, but I was a little bit surprised by it. After I accepted the bondage in the book, I actually found the book very sweet. This is basically just a book about accepting your quirks, or kinks if you will, and living the way you are happiest and most comfortable.
Jason was a very honorable character and was having issues coming to terms with being drawn to rough sex and Simone was a really sweet and caring young woman who had embraced her submissive side for years.
I liked them together and I never felt like the relationship was abusive or unhealthy for either character. I didn’t feel like Jason would ever take advantage of Simone’s trust or treat her as if she wasn’t a person.
I would recommend this book with the warning that it is very explicit and somewhat dark.
2.5 stars
I think I was a little naive what I was getting into with this story. I’ve not completed all the Original Sinners books but this did stand alone reasonably well.
This tale is about the blossoming of a cowboy, Jason. He’s an ex-pro bull rider, an all-round gentleman and nice guy and his evolution into playing out his dominant self that has been repressed for years is the crux of the story. Simone, his convenient stranger-to-sub was all too convenient and these two were both cute and cheesy together and in the next breath, bruises and crops.
It didn’t really work as a read for me, although I valued its completeness in the end as a story. I’m keeping my review short, I didn’t enjoy it and I think this author’s fuller novels work better for me where there is a build and full foundation for the story in the beginning. The beginning felt rushed to me and therefore, I really didn’t believe in the coupling of these two.
I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.
This may come to a shock to many but this is my first Tiffany Reisz book. Gah! I know, I know, I know. And this book was a quick sneak peak into the world of Tiffany Reisz. I liked what I saw, and now I have an excuse to read the books I've purchased but never got around to.
In Picture Perfect, Jason is doing his best friend a favor by posing nude in a charity calendar. Here he meets the photographer Simone. Whom is nothing like someone he normally likes, but there is something about her that calls to him.
Simone knows right away what Jason is and how to help him, but Jason is bound by family beliefs and expectations. Once Simone gives Jason what he needs he can't turn back and has to break free to get his HEA
This was scorching, sweet and short. Can't wait for more from this author.
3.5 Stars!
Picture perfect cowboy by Tiffany Reisz was unbelievably amazing to read. Well actually I devoured it in one single day. The plot was keeping me on needles the whole time as I couldn't put it down and I honestly haven't wanted to. I was feeling like I was being a part of Simone and Jason's journey. I was hooked from the very first moment they´ve met and followed them every single step of their sizzlingly hot encounter and falling in love.
In the beginning I was laughing at the situation of learning one other which was masterfully written in a funny way.
So this book has everything you need for a great entertaining read.
Anyway I truly enjoyed it and can only recommend it to all who loves kinky hot stories.
Funny, sexy, and entertaining. I've never read this author's books before but I will be picking up more. The characters are charming and fun. The story is just light enough with the perfect amount of steamy.
This story between Jason and Simone is cute and hot. We also got some appearances from Nora and Soren.
I love Tiffany Reisz so much... No one writes funny, kinky and hot hot hoooot books like her. This one is her Sinners related (with Nora and Soren as special guest stars, yay!) but you can read it as a stand alone.
The story itself is not one to remember, but you have a very great time (and a very hot one!) reading how Simone and a very sexy cowboy named Jason explore the BDSM world and, meanwhile, they fall madly in love.
I highly recommend it if you're looking for some light reading with a litlle bit of hot and kinky sex.
Jason, our cowboy, has some dark desires. His upbringing is making it difficult for him to come to terms or explore how his desires can be fulfilled.
Simone on the other hand, fully embraces a 'kinky' lifestyle and helps him to understand and even enjoy the exploration of his deires.
The journey to their HEA is, at times, sad, humorous and downright hot. Of course there is also the obstacle of an ultra conservative family to overcome but Jason and Simone fight for their right to be happy.
Although this genre is not to everyone's taste, it has a dual purpose in my opinion as has been written as much to educate as to entertain.
What a lovely introduction into the library of Tiffany Reisz
Book 10 in the Original Sinners Series! Simone's book (finally). Do you need the other nine books, absolutely not. Should you read them eventually? Absofuckinglutely!
Simone, our lovely masochist, heads to Kentucky, meets a very reserved former rodeo bull rider. Yet, she knows Mr. Cowboy has some hidden, delicious secrets and she's the one to coax them out.
Jason "Still" Waters is both enthralled and perplexed by the pink-haired photographer. Something about her is like a siren's call to his very dominant thoughts. Yet, Jason coming from an ultra-conservation family, he can't understand the feelings to dominant and take want he wants, even with Simone's permission.
This sexy/hot novella is just want I needed to read to get my OS fix. Ms. Reisz never disappoints, with sexy times, kink and all around great story.

Picture Perfect Cowboy by Tiffany Reisz. A enjoyable story. Great characters, plot and just enough spiciness. I look forward to reading more by this author.
