The story is about making new friends and helping them when need it. It is the start of new adventures for the little dog. The illustrations are cute I like it.

In the latest installment featuring the Chihuahua that loves to explore the desert, we see a flashback of how she’s rescued from the shelter, then back in the present goes outside in time to help a bunny escape a bobcat.
There’s a hilarious shot of a drunk-looking Cutie on her back, though instead of alcohol she’s gorged on food. She doesn’t look any better when excited, though it would help if she didn’t appear cross-eyed.
As one would expect when bunnies are concerned, there’s carrots. There’s innovative use of carrots. And carrot cake. And who knew rabbits liked music so much?
Fun enough for the little ones, especially if they have a tiny dog.

Colourful illustrations. Cutie the dog befriends Miss Bunny and has a wonderful adventure. It also learns that good deeds are rewarded.

Cutie is a rescue Chihuahua who loves his mom, 6 year old Ava Rose. In this book, we actually see the family selecting Cutie at the rescue center. Once again, Cutie is able to leave the home and yard and have an adventure. After saving Miss Bunny from a bobcat, they end up in the Bunny Family home for a party. There are other things happening in the book that children will enjoy. The story is good one and shows how a good deed never goes unpunished and is also rewarded, in this case with another animal showing courage. The illustrations almost reminded of watching a cartoon. They are very large, colourful and cartoon like. Little ones should enjoy this story, but we need to make sure that they understand it is not a good idea to sneak out of the house on your own. The publisher generously provided me a copy of this book to read. The rating, ideas and opinions are my own.

The first word that kids came up with, while looking at the word is cute. Having just been introduced to a rescue dog at their friend's house, they were able to relate with Cutie Puppy. The story is amazing and shows how a good deed never goes unpunished and is also rewarded with a greater virtue of courage in this case.
On one page, the preschooler identified cutie out of 9 boxed animals. She liked the cutie with the bunny.

Middle age range reader thought the book is very good. She liked it when the bunny was brave and threw carrots at the DANGER (preschooler's reminder) bobcat.

Although this illustration graphics used is not my favorite, still I had to appreciate the popping colors, the motion multiples, details like the shadows, garden fountains, desert features.
