This one was cute, short novella and got to the point. I consider this one of K's sweeter reads. Very well thought out and main characters were enjoyable.

Bidding for Keeps by K Webster is book One in the Sorority Secrets series. This is the story of Vivi Prescott and Dallas Monroe.
Vivi comes from a wealthy family although she is the uppity rich women character. Vivi is the loving friend and person, so when a Sorority sister needs help with money and her family won't help... Vivi goes into action by selling off her 'virginity' which she actually gave away to her brother's best friend. Dallas was the one that took her virginity along with her heart now he is back wanting to claim the rest.
This was a hot quick read that lets you escape from your everyday life....loved it!

Bidding for Keeps is the first installment in the Sorority Secrets series.

Vivi's friend's brother is hurt in a fire. The medical bills are piling up and she wants to help any way she can. Asking her father for the funds doesn't work so she decides auctioning off her virginity will work.

I am a die-hard K. Webster reader. I love the sick and twisted or the sexy and fierce but unfortunately for me, Bidding for Keeps was just too overly sweet. It is a short read that is quick and to the point.

M/F Second Chance Romance

This is not your typical Webster book. It is a short, sweet romance where the girl and guy find each other again in a semi-sweet manner.

Vivi has a sorority sister in need. Despite her past, she's willing to put herself on the line so that her friend's brother can have a fighting chance. I think for me, this is where the story fell apart... it didn't really incorporate into the story well.

There's an auction, a date, a kidnapping, and a resolution in such a short span of time.

I did like that you were able to semi-see the past and history behind the issues. I thought that it helped the story move along. But in the end, this just was not what I expected and was also too short to really develop.

Vivi is in a sorority and when one of the sister’s brother gets burned during a rescue, the sorority sisters pull together to raise money by holding an auction to help cover some medical bills. But the auction is not your normal one, they are auctioning of some of the girls’ virginity to the highest bidder. But Vivi doesn't tell the sisters that she lost hers over three years ago to her brother’s best friend, the man who also broke her heart when he left her.

Dallas can't believe what he is reading. Vivi, the only girl he has loved, is auctioning off her virginity. Something she gave to him over three years ago. What is she thinking? He needs to stop her before something happens to her.

Can Dallas save her, or will his trick make her hate him even more? Can Vivi forgive him for leaving her all those years ago? What happens when her "date" shows up?

This is a quick read that is kind of fun and a sweet, second chance romance. If you are a K. Webster fan and are looking for a dark read, then this one is not for you. I like a sweet read once in a while and this one was just right, so read it and I hope you enjoy it too.

When Bidding for Keeps started, I thought that Vivi was just a spoilt rich girl, but I judged her too soon. She really is just trying to do a good deed by selling off her nonexistent virginity to raise money to pay medical bills for an injured fire fighter.

I also wrongly judged the story, thinking it wasn’t going to be possible to fit a second chance romance in a novella, but it actually worked really well. We got enough information to be invested in the characters without making it feel rushed. The story is a little bit sweet, a little bit romantic, and a little bit sexy.

Bidding for Keeps was a good short read. I’m a fan of novellas and this is the second Dirty Bits novella I’ve read and I will definitely be reading more of them.

I am enjoying the variety and different ways that authors have interpreted "The Dirty Bits" in this series from Carina Press. I would recommend that you give them a try – and remember the premise of all the 'good' bits in a short story and judge them on that basis. They are quick, often cheeky, forays into passion, often with a quick transition to romance. Sometimes a short, sexy story is just what you need!

This book centres around Vivi, who is planning on raising money for an animal shelter by auctioning off her virginity (which may have been given to her first love Dallas a while ago... but hey, it's for charity!). And the winning bidder? It turns out to be someone who might know that he is buying counterfeit goods, but that is not the point. As they come to terms with the past, and the possibilities of the future, the auction may have been in another good cause entirely.

Fun read, thank you, K Webster.

This is a second chance romance it was fairly short so would take no time to read. Vivi is auctioning off her virginity to assist some firefighters that got hurt and she wanted to contribute to their medical bills. The only problem with this is that she is not a virgin, she had given that up to her brothers best friend Dallas years ago, but then he left her he said they just had a night of fun. She figures he would be the only person to know she was no longer a virgin, so she enters the auction and someone bid on and and gave extra money. When she goes to meet this person she is kidnapped, but come to find out it is Dallas, who is furios with her for doing something so foolish.

This was a nice little taboo story by this author. She always manages to write good stories. I highly recommend this little taboo treat story.

This is another of the short novellas about the sorority that puts up their virginities for auction. At least in this one, I finally understood the reason for the auction. (I read the second one in the series before this one) It still didn't really sit right with me. Ever heard of Go Fund me? Anyway, it ended up being an OK ending and I did like the couple.

Cute, romantic and steamy read. Second chance romance between two perfect characters. Quick read, but well written. Would have loved for it to be a longer read. Vivi and Dallas are adorable together.

When Vivi's sorority sister needs help paying for her brother's medical bills, their sorority comes up with the crazy plan to auction off all their v-cards. Sounds like a successful plan but for the fact that Vivi already gave that long ago to her brother's best friend, Dallas, right before he he left her high and dry, saying he had things he had to get to like college. Ouch...

But when Vivi meets the man who won her auction, she's not thrilled to find out she's being kidnapped and given to a stranger in a ski mask. Will her stranger take it easy on her, especially when he finds out he's been sold a bill of goods, that's she's a fraud?

I thought Bidding for Keeps was short, sweet and hot and a great way to start off this series.

4.5 stars - Just as advertised, this is a quick second chance read with lots of heat. It gets right to the nitty-gritty, so if that’s not what you’re in the mood for, keep looking. Otherwise, enjoy!

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review

Sorority Secrets started off strong with Bidding for Keeps. I love a good angsty romance and this novella had it all. Brother's best friend... First love gone wrong... Hero doing what he thinks is best for the heroine... Yes, please! Dallas starts off the novella as an asshole, but readers quickly learn how much he loves Vivi. He'll do anything for her. Vivi is tenacious. Dallas broke her heart and she's damn sure she won't let him toss her aside again, even if he thinks it is for her own good. She sets out to prove to him that they're love is real and it's worth fighting for.

Overall, great novella to start the series with. Loved Dallas and Vivi. Their sex was sizzling. It made me want to dive headfirst into the nearest new adult book I've got on my shelves.

This was a cute read! It reminded me a lot of a Alexa Riley book. It was short sweet and to the point.

Vivi got her heart broken by her brothers best friend Dallas. She never got over the hurt she felt when he pushed her away. Years later she still feels bitter about it all. Her sorority sister needs help and the only way they thought to make money was to sell the one valuable thing they had! Their virginity!

“My virginity is a lie. I gave that up to a jerk who I thought I loved.”

I guess Vivi was looking for a little do over in that department. She just wanted to help her friend out. She really didn’t think it was such a big deal.

Dallas never forgave himself for leaving Vivi. He knew he broke her heart. But he thought at the time he was doing what was best for her. Once he found out about what Vivi was going to do... he knew he needed to make his move now.

This was a cute little read. I loved how Dallas showed Vivi how much he cared and wanted her throughout the years they were apart. And I was happy when Vivi opened her heart and let him back in!

I can’t wait to read the next book from this series!

Another but short read from one of my favourite authors. Although this story was a quick read it was still jam packed. A sexy fun second chance romance.

What happens when you offer up your virginity at an auction? It leaves you open and vulnerable. Vivi has gone to the highest bidder and is scared out of her mind. It’s for a good cause so she pushes herself to go along with a stranger. What she finds is a second chance with her high school flame, Dallas. Story was short and sweet.

Keep me!!!

Hot, hunk that stole your heart reappears to steal it again!?! Sign me up. Bidding for Keeps is sexy, sweet and as usual with K. Webster a bit of a naughty streak. Nothing says naughty like auctioning off your non-existent virginity...even if it's for a good cause.

Sexy, swooning is a given- just be careful Dallas is sure to sweep you off you feet.

An enjoyable quick second chance romance with some sexy thrown in. I don't quite get the whole auction off your virginity idea, but it seems to be a popular idea to write about. I liked the romance between the characters past and present tense and the sexy bits were very enjoyable too.

Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin-Carina Press for a copy in return for an honest review.

This is apart of a series written by several authors where a sorority decides to auction of their virginity, in order to help a friends brother who was seriously injured. This book was about Vivi who really isn't a "virgin." Luckily for her the boy who took her virginity is a man now and is willing to stand up for her and help her get around this.

This was a fast read.
