Bible journaling is taken here on a completely new level. I have seen people doodling, underlining a little, but what I have seen in this book is so much more! It is a good idea resource of what to paint, what materials to use, how to make pages flat, how to prevent paint from bleeding, variety of different objects. There is a little bit of a spiritual aspect just enough to show how to connect the art with the Bible study. All the examples in the book are simply gorgeous! I loved every one of them. I wish my Bible looked this colorful!

This is a truly inspiring book! I cannot express just how much I loved it. Who would have thought that you could take the Bible and improve on it. This book shows you how to turn your bible into a something very personal. The ideas of how to express what the bible means to you are truly inspiring. I found hard to do this to my own bible right off. So I started with a copy bought from a second hand bookshop and have made a start coping some of the examples in this book. I am sure that once I feel confident I can return to my own bible and express my own thoughts and feelings. What a wonderful thing it will be for future generations to read and I hope do the same. I showed this to a friend and she has started to illustrate her favourite book of poetry in the same manner. Thank you for this advanced copy it has been inspirational .

I really enjoyed reading this! I have been following posts on pinterest about how to appropriately journal, but it's really never been educational for me. That's the opposite for this book! I have learned a lot and enjoyed seeing examples and can't wait to dive in and try it myself more than my practices.

I absolutely loved this book it’s full of inspiration and ideas.. it offers techniques and advice to all those who want to bible journal and don’t know where to start. It is full of beautiful illustrations and will help you creatively engage with God. I’ve read a few books on this subject and this is the best one yet!

This is such a brilliant book. From a teacher’s perspective I will use this to show how religion is changing over time and how this is a way of connecting many parts of faith together.
However, this also strikes a chord spiritually. Too often respect is take to the extreme and holy books are left untouched. This method of engaging with the Bible is so immerseive that it will bring a complete new level of understanding to followers.
It would make a perfect Christmas present along side a copy of one of the Bibles mentioned.
