A really nice book. The beginning when email character is remanising is slow and a bit long, but then the story begins and it's great. A little different to Palmers usual storyline, making it a nice change and who doesn't like ice skating.

I am a long time Diana Palmer fan but in recent years her books have been huge let downs or I started skimming the bad parts. This book is one of her best books I have read of hers in 10 years. It was beyond terrific. I could not put it down and it was just freaking wonderful.

This story brings us to the exciiting world of ice skating. Karina is a gold medal winner who has had a rough few years. The last one was a broken ankle and so she is not sure she can ever skate again. She ends up in Jackson, WY where she gets a nanny job for Micah. Janey is his daughter who is also into skating and I loved the relationship between Karina and Janey. Maybe even more than Karina and Micah.

I had some issues with Micah. First he is engaged to a WITCH. And he knows she is a witch and he sees how awful she is to Karina and especially to his daughter and he continues to be with her. This was the only part of the book that made little sense. he absolutely loves his daughter, and he knows this woman is just after his money and yet he still lets her treat his daughter like crap.

This is a slow burn romance and Karina is a virgin and despite her and Micah's attraction they never cheat really. He is always breaking up and getting together so it was a slippery slope for him, but Karina is a virgin for 99% of the story.

Mostly this story depicts Karina's quest for a gold medal and it was beyond wonderful. Romance wise Micah was nt the greatest guy. But I absolutely loved this story and it is purely Karina's story. It had a wonderful ending and characters I fell in love with. This is one of the author's best books ever and I highly recommend it.
