Gia is friends with Trevor who is accused of killing a local aspiring politician, she doesnt believe that her friend could be guilty and with the help of her friends decides to try to clear him.
I love the idea of the All Day Breakfast Cafe with it's assortment of interesting characters. There's a real sense of community and Gia is a determined and likeable character.
Its a fun and fast paced cozy mystery and I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
Such a fun series and this book is a perfect fit, only bad thing is it made me hungry! Interesting characters and story line, such an engaging read and looking forward to more Willow in the future.

When Gia Morelli’s friend Trevor starts acting suspicious and faints in her café, she knows something is not quite right. She rushes to his ice cream shop and finds a dead body in the open ice cream freezer. Gia knows deep down that he did not do it but he appears suspicious and is prime suspect.
Gia will find herself involve in the case which will put both their lives at risk. Things are not as it all seems as she will uncover the truth.
Once again the author does not disappoint as the plot flows.
This is the first book I have read in this series but I still found it to be quite good although reading the previous ones would probably help flesh out the characters. As cozy mysteries go, I would definitely recommend this series, along with the Bay Island Psychic Mysteries, also by this author. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.
I felt like I was part of a group of friends. I love the way the author made me feel part of the customers that came to eat breakfast all day long. I like the step by step on cooking the dishes and learning how to do it quickly. I didn't think Hunt make enough effort to be part of a relationship until the end. He needs to find a work life balance. I felt Trevor did not share enough of his life to have been in business as long as he was. How did the town not know more about him? Well, as you can see, I became involved in the story. The diner felt more of the focus as the folks dropped in than the mystery. But I did like the low key way the gals went about searching for clues. I totally enjoyed the story.
Likable characters, clever plot twists and quirky cozy elements make A Cold Brew Killing a worthy read! Gia, a transplant from New York, runs a breakfast diner in sunny Florida. When the dead body of a local politician mysteriously turns up in the freezer of her flirtatious friend’s ice cream parlor, Gia is pulled into investigating the perplexing homicide. The story flows at a perfect pace and unfolds smoothly. The All-Day Breakfast Café Mystery series is delightfully fun and engaging and will leave you “hungering” for more in the series.
A Cold Brew Killing (All-Day Breakfast Cafe Mystery #3) by Lena Gregory is a delightful cozy mystery. I liked the characters of Gia and Savannah and their friendship, and I enjoyed the cafe setting. The characters in the book are interesting and didn't distract from the overall storyline. I especially enjoyed the character of Willow. I hope she is featured more in future books. And also, Thor, Gia's dog; love books with cute dogs! I look forward to reading more of this series and this author.
I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is a great story, filled with interesting characters, a puzzling plot and a beautiful Florida setting. Gia Moretti has moved to Boggy Creek Florida to be near her best friend Savannah. She has opened a restaurant, the All Day Breakfast Cafe, and part of the charm of the book is reading about the delicious meals she serves. One of her best friends is Trevor, who owns the nearby ice cream shop and when Trevor finds the body of mayoral candidate Ron Parker in his freezer and is arrested for the murder, Gia cannot believe Trevor is guilty and she gets involved in trying to find the true solution to the crime. Meanwhile her friend and waitress Willow is anxious because her mother has been acting strangely and what Gia finds out leads her to believe everything is connected back to their high school days. I was hooked in this book from the very beginning to the end - especially loving Thor, Gia's big Bernese Mountain dog and I came to really admire Gia when I learned how hard it is to run a cafe. I am now a true fan of this series.
Thanks for the early review copy!
