Super sweet swoony read.
Sawyer Bennett has a way of writing about one thing (hockey) and keeping it interesting and the story changing. I love that there's always a bit of drama, a ton of chemistry and swooning in her books.
I loved Erik and Blues relationship. It wasn't instant and it had great build up. Billy was an extra that made you fall just a bit more.
I look forward to Legend's book!

"The fact she won't give me the time of day makes her infinitely hotter to me for some reason."

I guess his being a pro hockey player makes it pretty mind-boggling for him when his advances are shut down in no uncertain terms. Blue makes it extremely clear that she wants nothing to do with Erik, the enforcer for the Arizona Vengeance. What makes it even worse is that his team mates thinks it's pretty hilarious that the player can't play, at least not with her.

When he gets the opportunity to see her off-duty, hanging out with her brother who's in a wheelchair, he becomes even more intrigued. He sees a softer side of her when she's with Billy. When she's not withholding her smiles she's even more breathtaking. His infatuation becomes an obsession as he attempts to get past her walls and convince her to give him a chance.

Blue has little money and a lot of responsibility. She needs to concentrate on her brother, she doesn't have time for an arrogant hockey hunk. "I wish he wasn't so easy on the eyes, as it would make it a whole lot easier to ignore him." But ignore him she does...

I really enjoyed this sweet story. Billy pulled not only my heartstrings but the rest of the team as well. I knew that Blue wouldn't be able to resist him forever and I loved the slow build as Erik pursued her. As this new series progresses and I get to know the guys better I'm getting more and more excited for the single ones to find their ladies. Being a sucker for the broken ones, I'm especially drawn to Tacker. He'll probably be last, because I want him most, right? The line forms here...

I am somewhat addicted to Sawyer Bennet books. I have a problem. And her hockey series is my first and true love. Needless to say, I loved Erik! He was a smooth talker and showed his heart from the start. He tries to be the bad boy, but is really a lovable romantic underneath.

This is one of my favorite series out there!

Erik is the second book in the Arizona Vengeance series but can be read on a stand alone basis.

This book drew me in right from the get go. Erik and Blue had great chemistry and I really enjoyed the development of their relationship. The story was fast paced, it held just the right amount of emotion and feels and the banter between the hockey team mates, provided a lovely touch of wit and humor. I really enjoyed Erik and would happily recommend it.

I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher via NetGalley; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.

I figured Erik would have a sweet, soft side but his heart was even more beautiful than I expected. Seriously swoon worthy. But don't worry, he can still get downright dirty. Blue's dedication to her brother was absolutely heartwarming. Love these hockey guys and their women!

Best second chance romance ever! Totally loved this book. This was such a fun, moving, and emotional book that had me hooked from page one. Why is Blue so rude to Erik? Loved what she made him do in order to get a date with her. Loved how they were with each other and I cried over their heartbreak. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book

Could a playboy ever change? Do second chances really exist? Do we learn from our mistakes? Erik is a hockey star and playboy. When he meets Blue on the team private jet he is drawn to her and so starts his flirtations. Right from the beginning she wants nothing to do with him. She knows how much of a playboy he is and wants no part of it. She is a different person than she was years ago. No more of the playgirl but now with responsibilities. But the more time goes on the more Erik tries to get Blue to go out with him. Finally she agrees after daring him to do something and he does.

From then it was like a transformation of sorts. Erik is no longer the playboy but a respectable, dependable, caring guy. He treats her like the gem he thinks she is. They make such a great couple. Yes there is a sexual attraction but also so much more. Erik becomes someone who means so much to her in such a short time. But can she give him the time and attention he deserves? Will guilt prevent her from committing to him?

Once again Sawyer Bennett delivers a story full of emotion, love, laughs, and so much more. Another hockey series that scores the winning goal.

I really really enjoyed this book!! I thought both characters, Erik & Blue, were great! I loved reading their journey of falling in love. I'm loving this series and I can't wait for the next one!!

Absolutely adored this book and fell hard for Erik! After a cringeworthy first meeting, Erik just can’t get Blue out of his head. Blue is strong yet vulnerable and Erik isn’t giving up without a fight. I loved the way the story progressed, and I am super excited for the rest of the books in this series, especially Legend and Tacker!

I loved Erik!!! Oh man, these guys just get better and better with each book. He was simply an amazing counterpart to Blue.

They met 5 years ago and never dreamed that this would become their lives. I adored this story!

ERIK by Sawyer Bennett. Erik and Blue have stolen my heart. I adored both of these characters - Erik, a hockey playboy, it's knocked over by his attraction to Blue. Blue, a flight attendant and a loving sister to her disabled brother, wants nothing to do with Erik. Watching these two navigate their journey through the ups and downs of a relationship was joyful and heartfelt. I smiled as Erik did nice things for Blue and her brother. I cried when Blue shared some of her reasons for wanting to be alone. And I cheered for Erik and Blue to fight for each other and find their happy ever after. I have been a fan of Ms. Bennett's Cold Fury series (adore those sexy hunks) and, wasn't sure how to receive this new Vengeance series but after reading this second book of the series (not necessary to read both to enjoy but highly recommended), I can see the these new sexy hockey hunks are giving Cold Fury a run for their money! (received ARC for honest review).

Erik.

He's a ladies man - always has been. He doesn't have time for anything serious.

But this one girl is different. Blue. She's the flight attendant on the team's plane. And she kinda hates him. He tries flirting and talking and being nice. Not working.

Blue doesn't have time for a player in her life. Even if he's as hot as Erik.

Also, she kind of met him five years ago - and he doesn't even remember!!!!!

Poor Erik will have to fight real hard to get his happily ever after with Blue!

Let the fun times begin ....

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN TO BLUE & ERIK????
WiLL THERE BE A HAPPiLY EVER AFTER?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺☺☺

Book 2! Yay!

We already met Erik in the first book and we already saw how not excited Blue was to have him flirt with her.

It's really adorable to see the poor guy not getting what he wants for a change.

But it's not taking him all that long to convince her that he's changed.

But getting Blue is not the only thing poor Erik has to fight through to get to his happy end!

I really enjoyed this book.
It was erotic and fun and sweet and I adored how Erik was with Blue's brother Billy! Really cute.

Even though there wasn't much happening in the story. They get together pretty early and by the 50% mark the book could've ended, but it didn't ... it was a bit too long. The best things about those too long parts were the moments about the next books. Legend and his new neighbor and Tacker with his sad past.

There's a lot of book material still left for us in Phoenix! ☺

Can't wait to see what Legend will be up to next! And Tacker!!! When will we get his book?!

ERIK was a fun, moving & sexy new romance in this new hockey series! Great cast!
Run to your nearest amazon for your own ERIK - this one is MINE!!!!

Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite, go-to authors and books like this are the reason why. I have read all of her Cold Fury books and absolutely love them, so I couldn't wait to dive into her new series with the Arizona Vengeance. Although I didn't think Bishop was on the same level as the Cold Fury books, I feel like Erik is close. I just loved his love story with Blue. I think both characters were amazing and had such depth to them that was barely hinted at in Bishop. Erik proves that he is much more than the bad boy party boy of hockey and Blue proves she's much more than a party girl flight attendant, which Erik mistook her for in the beginning. Let's just say she didn't like it very much and it went a long way to putting her off him. But he charms his way in somehow and when he does, the sparks fly. These two are combustible together, but they also prove to be very worthy of each other, too. Definitely a fun and interesting read. I can't wait for the next in this series!

Wow! This may be my new favorite hockey series EVER! I loved the Cold Fury team, don't get me wrong, but two books into the Arizona Vengeance and I am completely head over heels for these guys.

Erik is a playboy and all around flirt. For that reason alone, Blue wants nothing to do with him. Add it a chance previous meeting and she has built her walls up really thick. Once she lays it all on the line, Erik decides she is worth the challenge and just gives her honest HIM. Friendship is always a great place to start and they go forward from there. These two just seem to click once their walls are down.

What I love about this hockey team is it is an expansion team. All the players are in the same boat and starting from square one. It leaves them more open and a bit vulnerable. Their friendships are just coming around as well. The author writes some awesome banter between the guys.

Then let's add on the layer of Blue's brother with disabilities. I am so very pleased with the way the author incorporated this into her story. Especially happy with Blue's decision to keep him in his group home even if she could bring him home again. So spot on to all the tangled web families have to navigate when they have a person with different abilities to care for. Thank you for that honesty.

I am eager to meet the rest of the team and all their HEA's! Grab this series today!

Erik and Blue are made for each other. Their relationship started five years ago with a drunken one night stand, that blue thought was going somewhere. Fast forward 5 years and blue is holding a grudge when Erik starts flirting she blows him off. When she finally tells him they know each other intimately, he is floored. This books has it all and I loved it.

I am always up for a good sports romance - especially hockey ones by Sawyer Bennett and Erik is one of my absolute favorites. This is book 2 in her new series, Arizona, Vengeance, but it can be read as a standalone. This book sucked me right in from the beginning, moved at a good pace, and kept me entertained until the very end. I really liked both Erik and Blue. Playboy heroes with hidden depths and a good heart tend to be my favorites and I couldn't help, but love Erik! Blue has a brother with cerebral palsy and this book touched me in many ways as I have a daughter with special needs. I felt that I could really identify with her. You can tell that Sawyer Bennett does research for each of her books. This second chance romance is low on angst, has some great humor and romance and has a HEA with no cliffhanger. I received this book as an ARC and I voluntarily leave this review.

Erik was an amazing character, he was so much deeper than he seemed in the first book in the series. I also really enjoyed getting to know Blue better. Their relationship was complicated, but also so very sweet.

Erik is my new swoon worthy fave book boyfriend.
He surprises me by his actions, definitely showing that people can and do change over time. His compassion and feelings for Blue and her brother Billy are fantastic. He is fabulous, as are his teammates in the Vengeance. Anticipation for more of these lads and the relationships they pursue.
