OMG this guy is the most swoon worthy of all! Who would have thought that a known player would have so much potential for a relationship? When Erik sees Blue with her brother, he is more than intrigued. His attitude does a 180 and the best part is that no one needs to ask of him to care because he genuinely has a soft spot in his heart. I love that about him, he knows what comes first and is very grounded and rational as to what needs to be done and how to react to situations. I think he is perfect for Blue because he grounds her. She is in the process of learning to balance a personal life with being a responsible adult. Not just for herself but also for someone else in need of constant help. And because of that and other reasons she is resistant in trusting Erik and including him in her life. But no worries, he steps up to the challenge and surprises everyone with his good intentions and how big his heart is. Your heart will just keep swooning and swooning at the turn of every page. He will melt you!

Sawyer Bennett is one of my one-click authors and now that we are two books into the Arizona Vengeance series, these guys are quickly becoming some of my favorite Sawyer heroes!

Erik Dahlbeck is trying to acclimate to being taken in the expansion draft by Arizona, which has changed everything in his life. The only things that are still the same are the fact he's still a player both on off the ice. Erik has always loved women, and has made no secret of that, but when he sets his sights on one of the team's flight attendants, Blue Gardner, he may just be willing to retire the off the ice player moniker.

Blue Gardner loves her job as a flight attendant for the Arizona Vengeance, but she has someone else she loves more, namely her brother, who suffers from cerebral palsy. When Blue isn't working, whether it be for the Vengeance or another side job she has, she's spending time with her brother and she doesn't have time to deal with dating.

When Erik and Blue come face to face, Erik tries hard to flirt, but Blue wants no part of it. What Erik doesn't realize is Blue has a very good reason for her cold reaction to him. It's clear early that the two have amazing chemistry, but will they get the opportunity to see if it can go the distance? Will Erik be able to sway Blue's original feelings toward him?

This book had moments of heat, moments of sweetness and moments of heart. I loved the characters and I loved how the entire story unfolded. I'm already intrigued and ready for Legend's book, so bring it on!

Good Lortttt Erik is just...just so amazing. I love his big strong self. He plays Hockey so there is that. He is hot, sexy, and all the things!
He knows he was a jerk face in the past, but he wants to make it right, not only for himself but for Blue.
Blue is stunning and doesn't even realize it. She is selfless. She deserves better then the old Erik was willing to give her.
He knows that and he tries to give her everything and more. When Blue finally lets him in she has no choice but to fall head over heels for him. He shows her a very different side of himself and she kind of likes it even tho she tries to tell herself it can't last.
They have an amazing physical connection, but their emotional connection is so strong that falling in love is not an option, it just happens.

What a sweet, sweet, emotional love story. I’m a huge fan of Sawyer’s Cold Fury series, and, two books in, and the Arizona Vengeance have well and truly stolen my heart. Erik Dahlbeck may have been a player both on and off the ice, but he’s willing to put all that behind him for a chance to date one of the team’s flight attendants, Blue Gardner. Blue has a lot more to worry about than looking after The Arizona Vengeance when they play away games, she has responsibilities that really do take precedence over dating playboys and going out and having fun. When Erik finally breaks through her tough exterior, they both learn that life can be better together. Of course nothing is ever straight forward, and they have a few hurdles to jump along the way. A wonderful story, beautifully written, full of love, life and possibilities. I loved the characters (of course), the writing and the story also were perfect. No complaints from me, I was hooked from the get-go. Roll on Legend. I was provided with an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

4.5 stars

I really enjoyed Erik by Sawyer Bennett.

The storyline grabbed my attention from the first page and held my interest until the end.
I loved Erik and Blue, they made me laugh, they made me swoon and they touched my heart with their tenderness and heartfelt moments.
Their story brought out all the feels, I was happy they were able to find a balance between them with honest communication and to respect/trust one another.
Erik loved Blue and Billy unconditionally and I loved his big heart.

Erik is an excellent installment to the Arizona Vengeance series, can't wait to get my hands on Legend's book next, coming Feb 5th 2019.

*Thank you to the author via Netgalley for the advance copy, in exchange for my honest thoughts.*

Erik was another great addition to the Arizona Vengeance Series by Sawyer Bennett. I think I might have even liked this one better than Bishop (Book 1).

I absolutely LOVE Sawyer’s stories about hockey hunks. They are the perfect mix of sports, humor, steam and romance with just enough drama to keep you interested.

Erik is a fun and entertaining read, but with the emotion you expect to to get when reading a Sawyer Bennett book. I thought the flow and pace of the story worked well. I did think the ending was kind of abrupt, would’ve liked an epilogue to finish off their story. But this is truly an enjoyable read. This is a standalone novel that is told in Dual POV. You don’t have to read this series in order, but I would always recommend it. Erik is a enemies to lovers second chance romance. Although it focuses more on the enemies part than the second chance.

We follow Erik and Blue in this story. Erik plays for the Arizona Vengeance hockey team. But that’s not all he is known for, he is also a player off the ice. He has never hidden the fact that he likes women but not relationships. That is until Blue walks into his life, or should I say his plane ;) Instantly drawn to Blue he tries to strike up a conversation, but she isn’t having it. Blue is a flight attendant on the Vengeance’s private plane. What Erik doesn’t understand is why Blue is so defensive toward him. Will Blue give Erik the chance to right his wrongs from the past?? Can these two find a HEA together? What happens when Blue’s personal life conflicts with her time with Erik?? Read this story to get all those answers.

I loved getting to know more of the guys from this new hockey team, but I also loved the cameos of the Cold Fury team. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

I would 100% recommend this book to everyone!! If you are a fan of Sawyer’s Cold Fury series, then you are going to want to meet the men of the Arizona Vengeance!!! Make sure you have a fan and some water when you read this book ;)

This is book 2 in the series and I think I love it more than book 1. Eric is the star and is a seriously sweet guy. He has a HUGE crush on the stewardess on his teams plane, Blue. But Blue HATES him with a passion no matter what he does. That is because they have met before...and I cannot share how.... sorry no spoilers here.

Blue is pretty wonderful herself but she also has a lot of responsibilities and one is for her brother who has cerebal palsy and lives in a home. This is a big plot point in the story, as it ends up causing a rift with Eric but again no spoilers.

I can tell you this is a wonderfully written story and I loved both Blue and Eric. Together they are sweet, hot and very romantic. I am absolutely loving this series and each book easily stands alone.

Erik and Blue are characters you want to root for from the beginning, He is pretty much the most romantic, sweetest sexiest guy (who needed to prove himself at first and did). She is fierce and doesn’t take any crap from him. Together they are simply the best.

Could possibly be one of my top three Sawyer Bennett books!
(I’ll have to give that further thought)
What I don’t have to give further thought to is the incredible heart this story has. Well done!
