In Shipped (Book#1) Ben gets shot and Ethan abandons him, but it plagues him for his reasons why. Ben is a fun loving guy but Ethan leaving gutted him. Now all he has to do is get Ethan to see things a different light.

It takes the kidnapping of Ethan's nieces for Ethan to truly get his head out of his ass. Thankfully with the help of Lucas and Ryan (book 1) and Ben's brother Cameron and FBI agent, Alec things are able to work things out.

This is a romantic suspense with stubborn heroes. How can that go wrong? It can't. The more I get into this series the more I'm hooked.

Now I need to pick up Shipped before the next book is released ;) Nothing like back-tracking...

Confession time... I've done it again. I picked up the second book in a series before reading the first. Even though I didn't feel lost at all while reading Sentinel, I still want to go back and read Shipped, the first book in the Until You series. Not just because I want to get to know Ryan and Lucas better, but because I want to see where it all began, especially for Ethan and Ben.

There was so much emotion in this story. My heart literally broke for Ethan. He had lost so much and even though he thought he was at peace with that - he had no idea how much more he had left to lose.

Then there was Ben... he had been in love with Ethan almost since the first time they met. There was nothing he wouldn't do for him, even slip back into the person he's tried so hard to leave in his past.

I could go on and on, but I'd end up rambling... and no one wants that. Just know that between the characters, the danger, the heat between Ethan and Ben, and the connection between the characters, Sentinel was hard to put down. Even though I haven't read Shipped - which I intend to fix really soon - I already know that Until You is going to be a series that I can't wait to continue.

I did enjoy this book. The main characters have chemistry and interesting back stories. That being said, it was not a standalone book for me. I felt like I came into the middle of the relationship. The cult plot definitely keeps the book moving and brings characters in that I want to know more about. However, there were vague references to stories in the previous book that I needed to understand the relationships. The sex was hot. It was a little bit of a slow burn but definitely the characters worked well together. I would definitely recommend reading it- just reading the first in the series prior to reading this one.

Wow. I really enjoyed this a lot. One of the best books I’ve read in a while. Memorable plot and characters.
This is apparently the second book in a series but it isn’t necessary to have read the first one to enjoy this one still (now I need to go back and read the first one while waiting for #3!).
Ben and Ethan have backgrounds working in the military and police respectively. In the previous book Ben had been hospitalized, and Ethan, afraid of his feelings, ditched him. In this book Ben tracks him down as Ethan’s terminally ill sister Maggie faces a crisis: her daughters have been kidnapped by their cult leader father. Ben and Ethan go off to rescue them, deepening their relationship in the process. I absolutely loved their individual personalities and the way they were written. I also adored their descriptions of the first dates they’d take the other on. I thought the plot was original and enjoyed the love scenes between the two of them. Looking forward to the third book - would love to get an ARC for that as well because I can’t wait lol! Awesome job!
