A truly enjoyable tale that would have benefited from some more polishing. I loved the story and the characterization, but occasionally the author repeated a scene from another character's perspective as more of a passive recap, before returning to more active interaction between the characters. It also felt like the ending was a little rushed and the twist could have been set up a little better. As an editor, these things made me a little batty, but as a reader, I still enjoyed the book well enough to read it in one go.
