I really enjoyed this book! This was the first time read from this author and I will definitely be on the look out for more of her books. I loved the characters and how Sam was so forward but also shy. Jesse was hilarious and I wanted him to keep coming around. I loved the story line and how things progresses. At the end all I wanted was for it to keep going, to see what happened next.
I absolutely loved this book. The author does an amazing job at developing her characters. You can't go wrong with reading any of this authors books.
I loved this book! The chemistry between Samantha and Jesse was off the charts. The author manages to combine sweet, hot, sexy and suspenseful all in one great read. I was hooked from the very first page. Sam and Jesse’s love story was amazing. You truly fall in love with the main characters. Their journey would not be a smooth one but they would rise up against the odds to be together. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great cowboy romance to read.

Rocky Mountain Runaway by Kathryne E. Crawford is an exciting with lots of action. Samantha, better known as Sam, leaves the convent in Boston to head to Aspen CO to search for her father, J.W. She has many misadventures and eventually does find the outlaw but will he appreciate all she has gone through to find him?
I loved this book. Parts are absolutely laugh out loud funny. The characters and their dialogue is wonderful. Sam is one tough lady and has no problem confronting the worst outlaws. I rate this book 5 of 5 stars and recommend to everyone who enjoys historic romance with a bit of comedy.
I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
A wonderful setting, a strong female lead, a great male lead and an engaging storyline. Rocky Mountain Runaway is the first book I have read by this author and I will be definitely reading more. The twists, the romance and the overall story dynamics made this a really enjoyable read.
I received a free ARC version of this book from Netgally in exchange for a honest review. All critiques and opinions are my own.
Honestly, I can't abide a horse thief. In the old days they would get hanged. Even a woman. And she is a horse their (Sam, the heroine). I find it funny she robbed the guy (even though she kept denying she was robbing him). Even took his hat. It should be funny but it really isn't. Then she liked that she was a nun from a convent and then swooned. She was hard to like after all that.
Jesse, the hero, has a run of bad luck and it seems to get worse and worse ever since he met Sam. Honestly I love keep him. He really tries to be a nice guy and help out Sam and her problems even though he has a million of his own. I just don't think they make a good couple.
Overall, the book is ok. The plot was very dramatic. The sentence structure was a little weird in places but overall well written. My major issue was I didn't like the character development.
I love butt-kicking women who are headstrong but are also capable. There was enough saving on both genders side and that kept it nice and balanced. Overall I enjoyed this novel.
This is a wonderful Historical Western. It has so many twists and turns it keeps you turning the pages until the end. Sam ran from the safety that she had living with the nuns so she could rescue her father again. She had no idea what she was getting herself into. When she came upon Jessie she took his hat, his shirt and his horse. Thus began there journey full of suspense, danger, deception and finding what truly matters, each other. I would definitely recommend this wonderful book.
