Biblically solid and easy to understand as the author works with teens and has honed his craft with concise, deep teaching. If you've ever struggled to trust God, this book will be a great help.
Rand Hummel did a concise and thought provoking Bible study on how we learn to trust God. I thought it very applicable when he wrote about a virus affecting our lives. That was pre covid-19. How much more do we need to read this and think about the truths captured here. I loved what he wrote about watching the birds, learning from them. Well done, I will read again.
This was an easy to follow book, broken down for daily use. I liked the encouragement and message that the writer was giving. You can tell it was a well thought out book and they took their time to write it.

This book is scripture filled and is easy to read. I like how it was broken down by day and I was encouraged while reading this book.
I thought because it was a christian mediation that I could do it but I just can NOT do mediation! I don't know why i want to but cant
Rand Hummel has done an excellent job writing on how to handle the stress in our lives in a Biblical way. He identifies the different sources of stress and gives wise advice on how to trust God during difficult times. There is so much great counsel in this book that I’m going to go back and take time to soak it all in. Reading all 31 meditations during a month would be a great way to do this. Looking forward to all I can learn from this book.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
I have found Rand Hummel's books to be very valuable resources in the past, and this book definitely met my expectations. This book is Scripture filled, makes excellent points, is convicting and encouraging, and is broken up into 31 days of meditations on Bible verses, which makes it easy to use this resource as a daily study. Everyone struggles with stress, and many Christians need the encouragement to trust God more instead of trying to control everything themselves (including myself). I believe this Scripture centered book provides practical ways to deal with stress and fear, and I am definitely going to make this resource a permanent fixture in my library as well as recommending it to as many people as possible.
