Cute, but like the other book in this series I've read so far (Diary of a Witch), it feels unfinished, like only half the tale is there...
I received a copy through Netgalley.
Such a delightful read. It’s a brilliant Monsters Inc-like spin on the idea of monsters. It could be the perfect book to ease a child’s mind before they sleep.
The illustrations match with the narrative completely and ensure it will be a family favourite in no time.
Another colorful creative book in the "Dear Diary" collection by Valeria Dávila. This one is probably my least favourite of the three, although I did still enjoy it. I found the ending to be a little abrupt and random, although, as always, the artwork was simply stunning. If I found the three books sold together in a trilogy, I would definitely pick them up for my little nephew. The artwork alone is worth it!
A huge thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I truly appreciate it!
