Couldn’t completely lose myself in this book. There was something about the romance that I just couldn’t Really get into. Despite that, I liked the writing in general; it was a fast paced read for me. Likeable characters and a flowing story-line (development). With the likeable elements and the things I had some remarks on, I’ll stick to a 3 star rating. This might definitely be a book you’d love to pick up though, if the synopsis sounds look like it’s your thing. I’d definitely suggest giving it a try!

This was my first Katee Robert sci-fi read and I thought this was pretty great! Plenty of action to keep the story moving, the characters are well-developed and the dialogue has a good flow. I think Ophelia's a kick ass heroine and the chemistry between her and Boone is off the charts.

I love Katee Robert! This was a second chance read provided by the publisher! Despite reading a lot of the author's new books I had not come across this one! It was the first scifi/paranormal romance by her I've read, and it was super enjoyable! This book was full of intrigue, betrayal, lust, danger and excitement! Did I mention tons of sexual chemistry and tension?!?

I always have a hard time getting really into a sci-fi book but this was packed with action and romance it was hard to put down! Ophelia is such a strong, female lead heroine that I can't help but enjoy the snide remarks she makes with Boone. She showcased that a woman can be strong and powerful no matter what life throws at her and what dangers she finds herself in. Of course Boone can't resist her :)
