As this book begins, Gia and Bennett are at the Newark airport learning that their flight to Florida has been canceled due to the snowstorm. As I start reading this book, I am at home 15 miles from the Newark airport and settling in for a weekend snowstorm. I love when a reading experience coincides with real life that well.
While they’ve never met before, they are on their way to be maid of honor and best man in the same wedding - Gia is in charge of transporting the wedding gown and Bennett has the rings. The wedding is in 6 days and they have to get there.
Unfortunately, for me the opening was the best part of this book and it all went downhill from there. I didn’t particularly like either main character - Bennett’s “goodness” and atonement for his past, Gia’s issues with food while Bennett is a chef and their central issue of “Bennett doesn’t do casual and Gia doesn’t do relationships” all felt overdone and did nothing for me.
At one point, Bennett clearly said he didn’t want to stop in his hometown. While he napped as they drove, Gia took them there anyway - completely disregarding what he said. And then - after being annoyed for precisely 1.5 seconds, he was grateful that “she had just known that he needed to come here.” This is an example of why this book didn’t work for me.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this advance reading copy in exchange for my honest review.
Three little words. “I don’t date . . . One and done . . . Two and through . . . We're just friends.” Now, you’d think all of those ideals belong to our hero, but no, it’s our feisty devil-minx, Gia, who lives by that philosophy. Bennett, on the other hand, doesn’t do random hook-ups and prefers a level of affection with the women he spends time with between the sheets. But when a snowstorm has Gia and Bennett missing their flight to Florida for Wendy and Noah's wedding, their decision to drive together has them both reevaluating their stance on relationships.
Holiday has done it again with this latest book in the Bridemaids Behaving Badly series. I adore all of these characters, although I’ll admit, it took me some time to warm up to Gia. She’s one of those characters who requires the reader to look beyond the superficial, and when I got a look at her depths I easily loved her. Bennett I loved from the beginning, but he had his share of baggage that needed to be sorted through, too. They both had some difficult issues to deal with, and I loved how they worked on themselves while still supporting the other, and they really were perfect together. If you like your characters flawed but loveable, and a story full of humor, heat and heart, you’ll adore Gia and Bennett's story!

Title: Three Little Words
Author: Jenny Holiday
Rating: 4.5 ⭐
.
Jenny Holiday delivered another delightfully swoony romance in the final installment of her Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series. I adored all the previous couples in this series but Gia and Bennett might be my favorite. 😍
.
.
I'm not a huge fan of models, actors or entertainment persons in books so I was wary because Gia is a model. But Ms. Holiday proved me wrong because I ended up loving Gia. She's complicated, prickly, high maintenance & in Gia's own words, unlikable. But I adored her. .
.
Bennett as a sweet, charming Southern gentleman, always atoning for his past mistakes was the hero we all deserve. At first glance, they couldn't be more opposite. But as the book progresses, we get to see them in their element and realize that they actually fit. .
.
This book was a delight from start to finish. The romance was top notch & steamy. I highly recommend this whole series not just for the romance but also for the friendship between the four women! .
I had not read a single book by Jenny Holiday in the past (including the two other books that precede Three Little Words) but when I saw Nick shouting about it, I AM INTRIGUED. Chef heroes own my soul. Nick, who has known me long enough to know I am super picky with contemporary romances, said I would at the very least like Three Little Words SO of course I had to read it because CHEF HEROES. So, I went in expecting to like it since Nick said I would but I ended up completely engrossed in the lives of these characters and finding a new author to binge. Three Little Words takes you on quite the journey – quite literally because its a road trip book.
When Bennett and Gia find themselves stranded in a snow storm just days before their friends are getting married, they are left with no other choice but to drive themselves to the wedding. Neither really has a good first impression of the other but over the course of the trip, they get to know each other and fall slowly in love.
Maybe you read that para and are wondering if this book has an insta love romance? In terms of the timeframe, it certainly does but Holiday writes the progression of their relationship REALLY well. It makes sense at the end of the day that they fall in love because they are both wonderful people who are supportive of each other and their friends.
Gia comes off as aloof to everyone around her and isn’t the kind of person that makes friends everywhere she goes. BUT. She is incredibly loyal to her friends and would cut someone for them if she needed to. That’s why when flights are cancelled days before her best friends wedding, and she has the dress, she freaks out. Holiday truly brings Gia’s character to life in these pages and I felt myself empathizing with her career problems even if I couldn’t relate to them. ALSO, as an FYI, Gia struggles with an eating disorder.
Bennett may have come from money once upon a time but after being disowned by his family and left with no resources what so ever at a time when he was recovering from drug abuse/addiction, Bennett basically had to find his own way in the world. He is, in many ways, a self-made man who is incredibly passionate about food and giving back to the community.
As they embark on a road trip together, Gia and Bennett learn about each other and their biggest fears. They provide each other with much needed support and come out of this road trip better people who have a better grip on what they want from their futures.
Three Little Words was truly a joy to read and I cannot wait to hunt down all the other books in this series plus anything else Jenny Holiday has written!
Sometimes you want a HEA (happily ever after) in your life. If so, writer Holiday has your back with this adorable romcom between a bickering bridesmaid and a best man stuck together on a road trip to make it to their respective best friend’s’ wedding.

Three Little Words is only the second book I've read by Jenny Holiday and its another winner. Gia and Bennett are wonderful characters and I enjoyed their interactions together and with friends. The only problem is now I have to get to the library and hope they have the other books in the Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series
This is the first book I've read in this series and it was a completely charming book. I really enjoyed the reluctant road trip the main characters were stuck in. The author created a dynamic between the main characters and then changed things up by putting them in a group situation. The supporting characters were likely the protagonists of the prior books and I cannot wait to go back and read those!

Three Little Words is book #3 of the Bridesmaids Behaving Badly trilogy. Out of the three books, I found this one to be the best.
Gia and Bennett are strong and likeable characters. They have some great character development throughout the book. Both have realistic battles they need to overcome, and they both needed a shove from someone outside their bubble. Three Little Words was a book about life changes, and what can happen when you upend your world to move onto the next stage of life. The epilogue was a great point to wrap-up the entire series, and left me feeling satisfied about my journey with these bridesmaids.
The push-back from Gia being anti-relationship did get tiring and repetitive by the latter part of the book, and that's where it loses half a star from me. The synopsis describes Bennett "taking" the last rental car, which doesn't match the events in the book. They decided to road trip prior to that point, so no conflict existed in regards to that. Hopefully the book blurb is updated by its release date.
While each book in the trilogy can be read as a standalone, the series and its characters are more enjoyable if you get the full experience.
Perfect strangers Bennett and Gia encounter one another while trying to figure out travel plans after their flight is cancelled due to weather. Come to find out, they're both supposed to be part of a wedding for their friends (Wendy and Noah from It Takes Two) in Florida.
As the weather doesn't seem like it's going to let up, and neither Bennett nor Gia can catch a break in trying to get to Florida via plane, they do the sensible thing and rent a car to drive down.
What starts out as a mutual need to get to the wedding turns into an eye-opening, soul-revealing journey as Bennett confronts events from his past that forced him to change courses in his life for the better, but also altered his relationship with his parents. And Gia, who feels like her whole identity is tied up in modelling, begins to come to terms with the fact that the jobs are coming fewer and farther between nowadays, but she has no idea what else she's qualified to do. It's about moving forward and discovering what you can be if you can confront the past. Seeing yourself in a new light despite what stereotypes have told you about yourself.
With Three Little Words Jenny Holiday gave Gia (the sole remaining "bridesmaid") the perfect story. I loved how the story is sectioned off with a little more than half focusing solely on Bennett and Gia away from the group dynamic, and, then later, bringing them into said dynamic and seeing how how their newfound relationship fares. The comparison of Gia and Bennett being alone with one another, discovering a different side to themselves than the people they are when they're with their friends who know them equally as well but in a different way.
The pacing was fantastic. I love a good road trip story and two strangers on their way to the same wedding is the perfect setup. I felt like Jenny Holiday did a great job in the way Bennett and Gia slowly build the trust, bearing their souls to one another bit by bit. At first they begin I'd say a little combative, taking each other's measure. Immediately their is an attraction, but for various reasons they don't get together right away which also sort of throws a wrench in their developing relationship, at first anyway. And the attraction between these two is pretty hot. I think Jenny Holiday upped the steamy factor with this one. Or the teasing back and forth between the two just really built up the tension in a very good way.
This one deals with a lot of tough issues not only with the consequences of our actions, but with body image as well. Jenny Holiday handles these topics with a light touch, with a positive message about how we are often our worse critics, but without any condemnation.
Honestly, this has been my favorite of the series, and is an exceptional ending going out on a high note.
The Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series was my introduction to Jenny Holiday. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for readers next, and I'll definitely be looking into other books that she's written.
I really enjoyed this story! I have read this author before and it didn’t disappoint. I now want to read the others in the series!
I loved Gia she was adorable. 4 stars!
I've been ready to read Gia's book for awhile. She's a jet setting model who seems, in the last few books, that she has something to hide. And she is definitely going through some life changes. About to turn 30, her body just isn't working the same way it used to. It's out of her control. In her control? Getting Wendy's dress from New York to her Florida wedding. So when a storm hits and Gia isn't going to make it on time, she goes nuts.
Bennett Buchanan knows entitlement and isn't impressed by it. But when he realizes he is connected to the woman throwing a hussy fit, he decides to help.
Eventually the two decide to drive to Florida and that means enforced time in close proximity. And in a romance novel, you can be sure that will lead to an HEA.
Maybe my expectations for this book were too high. I felt like Gia's problem was too quickly solved by Twu Lurv and that the romance between the two felt shallow. I get that they spent a lot of time together but a LOT of that time was spent with misconceptions and irritation rather than dawning feelings of love.
This book comes out January 29th
Three stars

This series is one of my favourite romance series to date (shoutout to Lisa for recommending it to me!) so I couldn’t wait for the last book. Companion series books are my kryptonite and I am so happy to report that this last installment in the Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series did not disappoint at all.
Gia is travelling to her best friend’s wedding and when she ends up stranded in New York, she has to make the trip to Florida with the charming and stubborn groomsman, Bennett. While they are both attracted to each other, Gia doesn’t do serious relationships and Bennett doesn’t do anything casual. As they start their journey to the wedding together, they can’t deny their chemistry and things get a little more complicated.
I felt that Gia’s character was so compelling and I really liked reading her backstory. I was curious about her throughout the whole series and I really enjoyed finally reading from her POV. I also really liked Bennett and I felt that both of their POVs were unique and had a voice of their own. I loved their chemistry and the way that they complimented each other’s personalities. They were a great fit and even though their romance was a bit fast-paced, I felt that their romance was still totally believable. Holiday’s writing is always a delight and I truly felt immersed in the story, I loved it.
Overall, Three Little Words was definitely one of my favourite endings to a romance series. I really enjoyed Gia and Bennett’s story and I highly recommend the whole series.
I received an ARC of this novel from Netgalley in exchange for my review. Oh I loved this one!! This is the story of Gia Gallo and Bennett Buchanan (alliteration anyone?) They are going to be bridesmaid and groomsman in the same wedding. They also find themselves stranded in the airport when they are trying to catch a flight to Florida for the wedding. The bad weather prevails and they end up taking a car and driving to Florida. Along the way they get to know each other and despite the fact that neither one, on paper, is what the other is looking for, they start to fall for each other.
This story is certainly predictable but what I really liked was how much time the author spent developing the characters. Bennett, especially, was really so much more than a romance novel hero. This is part of a series and I certainly plan on checking out the rest of the series.
Even though I was late to the party, Jenny Holiday’s Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series has easily become one of my favorites and Three Little Words is no exception. Though they are ostensibly about four women finding love, in reality they are about the friendship that sustains those four women. Holiday doesn’t skimp on the female relationships and her novels are stronger for it. Gia and Bennett are fun, but what really makes this book sing is Gia, Wendy, Jane, and Elise.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
Three Little Words is the third book in Jenny Holiday's Brides Behaving Badly series. It can be read as a standalone, without reading the first two because that's exactly what I did and I thoroughly enjoyed.
When anti commitment Gia and relationships only Bennett find themselves stuck in a car together as they road trip from NY to FL for their friends weddings, their physical reaction to each other make things complicated. The both feel an undeniable pull to the other, and seem to know exactly the right things to do to ease any situation for each other. After sharing secrets and healing old wounds, it isn't long before Bennett is ready to break his rules and Gia is hesitant for their journey to be over. While Bennett is accepting of his new feelings towards Gia, it is a lot harder for her to accept what her heart wants.
I was instantly smitten with Bennett, from his kind heart to his tortured past. A man who puts his heart and soul into his work and wants to provide for those less fortunate than himself. Then we have Gia, and for someone who was so anti relationships, she had a whole mess of emotions going on inside her head. I felt awful for her inability to see her self-worth and that she was so much more than a pretty face. When she wasn't covering her feelings with attitude, she was a lot of fun and it was great to see Bennett bring out that side of her. The story only takes place over a week but the connection between them didn't feel forced or rushed and I loved that about it. Gia and Bennett went from tolerating each other to friends then more and it just felt right.
Three Little Words is my very first Jenny Holiday novel and I will never pass by her books in the future without stopping and picking it up! A great story for any romance lover, I highly recommend it.
Three Little Words is the third (and last) book in the Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series, and this one features Gia. Gia's flight is cancelled on her way to Wendy and Noah's wedding, and so she and Noah's best friend Bennett embark on a road trip to get there. I'm sure this one works as a stand alone, but if you've read the previous books you have some context to all the characters' relationships and back stories. I have really enjoyed all 3 books in this series, but I think this one was my favorite. We saw hints of Gia's disordered eating in the previous book, but the issue becomes front and center in Three Little Words, as well as her career anxiety and some self esteem issues. I thought Holiday's characters were well developed, and I really liked seeing Gia trying to figure things out. I also really liked Bennett and thought he was a good counterpart. The highlight in this book, like the previous ones, is the relationship between the women. They're all so lovely. I also liked that this one took place while Gia was trying to get to the wedding; I don't think I could have handled another book centered on all the wedding details. All in all, a great conclusion to the series.
I've read this entire trilogy now, and I thought it ended perfectly. Though Gia is tough to love at times, I was still quickly invested in the story. It doesn't hurt that Bennett was a loveable guy. Neither character is Perfect, and that is what makes them loveable.
Check out the entire series! I feel that consent was very clear, and that we really got to see these characters grow.
What a great way to end the series! I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I have read all three of the major releases in this series, and this one might be my favorite. I felt the author did a great job with these characters and I believed in their romance. All in all, it was a lot of fun (and seriously hot) and I highly recommend the series for romance fans..
What a fun series! I needed something to take me away from the recent stresses of my life and these three books did just that. The series follows a group of friends who are bridesmaids in each other’s weddings. Each friend has a distinct personality which I love. Some writers tend to write the same characters repeatedly, just plopping them in different scenarios and calling it a new book. But that’s not the case with Jenny Holiday. Each heroine was individual and had different struggles they had to overcome.
While all of the books were wonderful, I think my favorite of the series was Three Little Words. I loved that the obstacles were realistic and how much fun Gia and Bennett had together. How they supported and cared for each other as people so early on when it wasn’t romantic yet. They were just honestly good and compassionate characters and I really loved that.
If you’re looking for a fun read that will let you escape, I definitely recommend checking out this series.
A great finish to the series! I liked the way that Gia discovered she had more of offer than just her looks and I appreciated that it took a bit for Bennett to figure out the ways in which he was wrong. Looking forward to reading more from Jenny Holiday
