This was a brilliant read. As soon as I started reading this book I just knew I was going to love it. Highly recommended
I am not leaving a review due to the fact that this book did not interest me enough to finish the story.
Beautiful story- I love everything Amanda writes - I love the way this entwines with Theo's story which I am not sur has been done before - As usual a great story with brilliant characterisation
How to Fall in Love Again was yet another great book by Amanda Prowse flitting between Kitty’s past and present.
The final book in the trilogy but can also be read as a stand alone book.
I love Amanda prowse’ books and this one is no exception. I haven't read the Anna and Theo stories but this i still excellent as a stand alone. Told with warmth, humour and a touch of sadness this book will absorb you from the first page to the last. Loved it!
Even though I hadn't read Anna and Theo's stories, I was still able to enjoy this book full of wonderful characters. Amanda Prowse at her best
When I picked up this book I didn't know it was link to Amanda's last two books, Anna and Theo, this was a lovely because I adored the style of both the other books. If you have not read the other books then you should however this works perfectly as a stand alone. I loved the character of kitty and warmed to her from the very first chapter. This is a book about love, life and heartbreak and every pages warmed my soul.
This is a first for me by this author but won't be my last.
I didn't realise this was part of a series so will definitely have to read the first two.
Kitty Montrose lives an idyllic life in the Scottish Highlands. An adored only child, she swims in the Italianate pool of their ancestral home and delights in the closeness she shares with her horse-riding mother and her beloved dad. As a young teen, the perfection of her world is shattered when her mom is diagnosed with severe clinical depression. The illness takes up residence in their home like a dark monster lurking in every corner. Kitty finds solace and escape in the arms and bed of her friend Angus. Soon they are married, with a baby on the way. But what happens when Angus turns cold and unfeeling? Kitty needs a knight in shining armor. Can her old flame, Theo Montgomery, help her to discover her perfect life? Or is it too late for them both?
I found myself engrossed and not wanting to put it down... although I haven't read the previous books in the series I didn't feel as though I was missing anything but maybe that will change once I read them... as it stands I loved this book and will definitely be reading more of Amanda's work.
Thank-You Netgalley for my ARC.
What a fitting end to a wonderful trilogy! I have loved and devoured every single word of this trilogy and this could possible be my favourite of the three books.
To really enjoy this book read the other two books first - Anna and then Theo.
Five big fat shiny stars and highly recommended!
The third book in the Anna and Theo series, and this time we find out more about the girl Theomhad met as a teenager. Without spoiling at all, I can honestly say this series of book is possibly my favourite of all Amanda Prowse books. Kitty is a great character, and I love how book jumps from the past with snippets of the present. If you havent read Anna or Theo, read Anna, then Theo followed by this book.
How to Fall in love again is the perfect love story full of endearing characters which you just grow to love, I loved everything about this book.
I love Amanda prowse’ books and this one is no exception. This really is Kitty’s story and the book charts her life from childhood, haunted with illness in the family through to young adulthood and falling in love and on into middle age and a time of reflection, chance and change. Told with warmth, humour and a touch of sadness this book will absorb you from the first page to the last. Loved it!
Having read Anna and Theo, both of which I loved, I was really excited to read this book and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the intertwining of the stories and Kitty was a fantastic character. I really enjoyed how it flipped from current to past throughout the story and it was lovely to tie the whole story up! Def recommend especially if you have read the other two.
