A very cute trio of holiday stories by 3 great authors! Each story is part of a separate series, but they stand alone well.

Stranded in the Snow by Noelle Adams - 5 stars!

This one was by far my favorite of the group! I loved book 1 in this series, and this follow up was just an enjoyable. Olivia and Scott have an interesting history, and I liked watching them really get to know each other. The romance was poignant and I just adored them. The epilogue was adorable and everything I wanted!

A Christmas Rescue by Samantha Chase - 4 stars

I liked the premise of this story. It was a heartfelt story, and I always love a good reformed grinch storyline. I did struggle a bit with Bailey and found her annoying at times though. It also just seemed too ridiculous that she would quit after her boss told her to take Christmas decorations down... after he specifically said not to put them up in the first place. That aside, it was a nice romance and I liked Gavin. I would have liked a little more from the epilogue though.

Love on the Edge of Reason by Zoe York - 3.5 stars

I generally liked this story, but I will admit it seemed a tad rushed. It also seemed a little disjointed with the second chapter set a few weeks in the past--that concept can work at the right times, but I didn't think it really fit or was necessary here. I believe this was the shortest story of the group, and I would have liked a little more. The characters seem to generally likable overall, but I guess I still don't quite understand why Chloe ran away. An epilogue also may have helped here.

Overall, an enjoyable collection of winter stories!

*I received an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

All three of these books were cute reads. They weren't overly emotional and were quick reads. I wasn't familiar with the series they all were connected to, so I feel like O wasn't as connected or invested in them as I should have been.

I absolutely loved Snowed in for Christmas! It has two of my favorite themes in books - holiday reads and snowed in couples - and is comprised of three novellas that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

I enjoyed each unique story and the couple's struggles to work out their issues. All in all, Snowed in for Christmas is a fabulous read to put you in a festive mood!

Snowed in for Christmas is one of those lovely set of books that really will get you into the holiday spirit and believe in the magic of snow and love. Noelle Adams, Zoe York and Samantha Chase each brought through own special Christmas time magic with these 3 reads.

Stranded in the Snow (Holiday Acres, Book 2) by Noelle Adams
This one features Olivia and Scott. Their families have a past and it shines through in this love/hate relationship. Like every love/hate relationship there is that fine line that only seems to get erased. Being stranded in a cabin during a snow storm together brings everything to the surface. I love the steam between Olivia and Scott. A sweet read that you will enjoy curled up under a warm blanket to read.

A Christmas Recue (Silver Bell Falls, Book 4) by Samantha Chase
This office romance will bring on the warm and fuzzy feelings. Bailey is lovely and just wants to bring on the holiday spirit to the vet office. Gavin is the vet who comes off a bit of a scrooge and once you find out why you truly get it. Love of dogs keeps these two out on a mission and trapped at the clinic. I love the sparks that fly and every bit of this read.

Love on the Edge of Reason (Pine Harbour, Book 8) by Zoe York
In this little runaway we have Tom and Chloe. A little unexpected pregnancy sends Chloe running and Tom left wondering why. I love that the snow brings them together in such a beautiful way. Tom just gives me those wonderful feels that you can tell he really loves Chloe. Convincing her might not come easy. In the end this is just a warmhearted holiday read that will fill your heart so.

So if you are in the mood for some Christmas reads go pick this up. You will not be disappointed in any of these 3 holiday reads. I couldn't put them down and I'm loving what these ladies are bringing into the Christmas season.

I just finished reading Love on the Edge of Reason, and while I have read the others in the Pine Harbor Series, and loved them all, I found Tom and Chloe's story very rushed, and the ending a total let down.  I kept hoping for a bigger outburst of emotion from Chloe.  There are so many typos, that a reader can get distracted, I know it was an arc, so I hope that those get fixed before publication. Overall, I was left hoping for an expanded version later on. Just a readers opinion.

Who doesn’t love a Christmas romance? Unfortunately, I read each of these stories not realising that they were each part of an ongoing series, but luckily that didn’t detract from my enjoyment of each one. Wonderful, feel good seasonal reads, with engaging characters and good storylines; these will each find a place in the readers heart and I’m sure even more so for those who have followed the respective series from the start.

4 Star Review Snowed in for Christmas Box Set

I love anything to do with Christmas , throw in some great authors and in my opinion it is a win/win.

Stranded in the Snow (Holiday Acres #2) by Noelle Adams:
Thanks to a family feud neither Olivia or Scott can even stand to be in the same room as one another. The last thing they expect is to be stranded together at the “honeymoon” cottage on Olivia’s family property.
However all is not a as it seems as Olivia has feelings for Scott which she has done her best to hide. This was an emotional story as feelings that have been brewing under the surface finally are set free and not all in a good way.
I really enjoyed this story and I liked that they finally came to see that their feelings were more important than a family feud. A quick Christmas read with all the feels and some angst.
A Christmas Rescue (Silver Bell Falls #4) by Samantha Chase:
This is a enemies to lovers story about Bailey Walsh and her grinch of a boss Gavin who is a veterinarian.
It is obvious that while Gavin loves animals he cannot stand people and that shows in his relationship with those around him. I really felt for Gavin, his inability to communicate particularly with Bailey was so frustrating. When he is called out to an emergency, Bailey makes the to go with him and it changes her life.
Trapped thanks to massive amounts of snow Gavin and Bailey have no choice but to stay at the clinic. There is attraction between them and Gavin does his best to be nice but he is awkward it is like pulling teeth. Bailey has had enough and when the snow eases, she packs her stuff and decides to leave the clinic for good.

Will Gavin go after Bailey? Or will he walk away? You’ll have to once click to find out.

Love on the Edge of Reason (Pine Harbour #8) by Zoe York:
Chloe Davis left Pine Harbour, pregnant and alone and Tom Minelli is determined to find her, after all she is pregnant with his child. Just a she finds her, a fierce storm blows in trapping them together in a cabin on the lake.

I really liked Tom and Chloe and wanted them to get a happily ever after. Chloe needs space to re group and figure out her future but when Tom turns up she knows her time is over. Will Chloe take a chance or is she destined to leave Pine Harbour for ever?

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Snowed in for Christmas is an anthology of Christmas-themed novellas set in existing series by three authors. Stranded in the Snow is book 2 in Adams' Holiday Acres series, all novella length books. A Christmas Rescue is in Chase's Silver Bell Falls series, and is a novella in a series mostly populated by full length novels. Love on the Edge of Reason is set in York's long-running Pine Harbour series and feels like a novella on the shorter side.

Of these three stories, I was most interested in Noelle Adams' Stranded in the Snow as I had just finished her serial first book in that series and was eager for more. Chase is an author I have read and enjoyed before, but she is hit or miss for me. York is an author I am aware of but don't regularly read. As it turned out, Adams' story was my favorite. I found Chase's to be sweet and cute. York's novella lacked something for me.

Stranded in the Snow (Holiday Acres, #2) by Noelle Adams

This was the novella I really wanted to read. The second of four stories in Adams' new Holiday Acres series, I was excited to see "the haters" get their story. Scott hates Olivia. Olivia hates Scott. Their families are feuding.

Wait. What was that? Scott doesn't hate Olivia? Olivia secretly really likes Scott? But the families are feuding.

While Scott isn't the brother who feuds the hardest, he does have the longest-running acrimonious relationship - with Olivia. They were friends once upon a time, but all that changed when they were younger. And then the family feud happened. Now they scowl and snipe at each other, neither willing to give in.

Except it's Christmas time and snowing and sometimes getting snowed in is a blessing. Forced proximity also forces Olivia and Scott to face some difficult conversations, one of which explains why Scott changed so dramatically. I'm pretty sure that the reason is meant to be more disturbing than it comes across since it feels rather glossed over.

It feels slower than it all happens but I think that's because Scott and Olivia have been using snark as foreplay for years and it is all finally coming to a head. In other words, all the years before are implicitly there; it doesn't feel like just a couple of nights. There is some angst and drama - only to be expected since they have been accustomed to hurting each other and there is still the whole feud over their heads. But it all comes right in the end and the next book gets a nice teaser too.

A Christmas Rescue (Silver Bell Falls, #4) by Samantha Chase

This was a very sweet and deeply affirming story. Steeped in the joy of giving during the holiday season, Bailey helps Gavin deal with the pain of having been left out of the holiday for so long. Gavin is the new vet in town, having bought the practice from the retiring vet. But he's a Grinch and when Bailey and the others at the veterinarian's office want to decorate and Gavin says "No!", it escalates.

But a snowstorm and a pregnant dog who belongs to a homeless man lead to a change of plans and a new closeness. When Gavin opens up to Bailey and she draws him in to her family love, it changes everything for them. If it involves snowball fights, a shared bed, and a lot of TLC for some new puppies, so much the better!

This could have devolved into a saccharine sweet story but never gets there (thankfully) but it is a lovely redemption story and the festive atmosphere is both a blessing and a curse. Bailey and Gavin both need to let go of some assumptions but once they do, they see how much giving can really change things.

Love on the Edge of Reason (Pine Harbour, #8) by Zoe York

This was my least favorite of the three novellas. For one thing, I am unfamiliar with the Pine Harbour series and it definitely felt like I was missing something while reading this. It was also a very short novella. And lastly, it ends in - at best - an HFN. It really is left unresolved in most ways, more like a teaser for a book to come about Tom and Chloe than a full story on its own.

Tom and Chloe have been "having fun" for some time now, but it's casual for both of them. Until, it's not. Now Tom and Chloe have to face some hard truths and deal with them. I found Chloe to be stubborn, argumentative, and generally unpleasant. I suspect if I had been reading the series, I would already know her and have a different opinion. But, she just seemed foolish and angry all the time and I had no idea why.

Tom, for his part, was pretty oblivious. I mean, yes, it was supposed to be casual, but he wanted more for a long time before any of this comes to a head and never says a thing or even hints at it. Is it any wonder Chloe thinks he doesn't care or won't care about the baby. And really, he doesn't want her anyway, not for keeps. Tom's got trouble.

And yet, despite all that a few gifts, a little bit of talking, and all the issues seem to magically disappear into an HFN. It felt like nothing really got resolved. It was too fast, too little, and lacked enough Christmas to make it work for me.

Snowed in for Christmas
Stranded in the Snow Noelle Adams

I’ve only ever read this author as part of a co-writing team with Samantha Chase. But holy cow, I love her stuff and will definitely be reading more.

Scott and Olivia have known each other most of their lives. As kids, they got along ok, but were pretty different from each other. As they were getting ready to leave for college, a revelation about their two families came to light and drove them even further apart. Fast forward several years and they are working together and end up stranded in a snowstorm. Will the past still get in the way? Or will they find out that there is really more beneath the surface?

A great tale of family dynamics, loss, and finding the way to love despite it all.

A Christmas Rescue
Samantha Chase

I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Samantha Chase and this one is no different. The Silver Bell Falls series is very heartwarming.

Gavin McGuire came to Silver Bell Falls about a year ago when he purchased the local vet clinic. Bailey works at the clinic. They have butted heads pretty much the entire time. But they must put their differences aside to rescue a pregnant homeless dog in distress during a snowstorm.

Caring for the dogs, getting snowed in together and getting to know each other a little better makes them both realize things about themselves and each other.

It doesn’t take them long to realize that things are so much better together than apart.

Love on the Edge of Reason
Zoe York

Great, quick read

Tom & Chloe have had a friends with benefits relationship for the past year and both were “happy”; at least that’s what they told themselves and each other. But Mother Nature had other plans......

A surprise pregnancy and getting snowed in at a cabin together for days provides a lot to talk about and plenty of time for it. Card games, cooking together, romance novels and snowball fights all help them find the love they both have for each other.

I read both Noelle Adams’ and Samantha Chase’s stories. I haven't read the Zoe York yet.

Stranded in the Snow (Holiday Acres, Book 2) by Noelle Adams
I liked this story of Olivia and Scott, but felt a little lost because it was the second in the series. The other siblings I assume have or will have stories. Regardless, it was a fun novella of forced proximity.

A Christmas Rescue (Silver Bell Falls, Book 4) by Samantha Chase
I loved Bailey and Gavin (Dr. Grinch)! The puppies made the story sweet. I definitely laughed, awwww-ed, and had fun with this one. They each had a little growing to do to get their HEA.

Three stories in one book by authors I love. Each story is about couple stuck together during snow storm.
1.) Stranded in the Snow by Noelle Adams- Scott always liked Olivia but he act like he doesn't care about her. What happens when they get stranded in a cabin during snowstorm? Maybe that's the moment Scott has been waiting for to show his true feelings.
2.) A Christmas Rescue by Samantha Chase- Bailey works for Gavin, who is a vet and he hates Christmas, too bad Bailey loves Christmas and in the heat of the moment she quits her job. The moment she finds out that Gavin is going to help a dog who is about to have puppies, she is in to help. Little does she knows they both going to be stuck together for a few days. Does this time will help her to convince Gavin that Christmas is a great Holiday?
3.) Love on the Edge of Reason by Zoe York- Tom and Chloe are friends with benefits. When Chloe tell Tom that she is pregnant, he acts like a jerk and she runs away. Will he find her in time before storm and will she forgive him for the way he acted?

Three lovely Christmas stories. I really enjoyed them. Stranded in the Snow by Noelle Adams was ok. It was well written but It wasn't what I thought it would be. The female character wasn't all that believable. A Christmas Rescue by Samantha Chase was a really believable love story. Baily was so good for Garrett. This story grabbed me and pulled me in from the beginning. And Love on the Edge by Zoe York was also awesome. Tom's tenacious pursuit of Chloe was heartwarming. Another story that pulled me in. While hadn't read the previous books in Noelle's series which probably took the characters out of context for me. I was waiting for both Samantha's and Zoe's stories. Three fun Christmas love stories.

Copy given through Netgalley, review given voluntarily.

Stranded in the Snow: Sweet childhood crush turned feisty and then turned to lovers. Getting stranded in a cottage, during a blizzard, makes for cozy times. There is a rough history between their families, but the animosity seems to be cooling down.

A Christmas Rescue: I don't think you can ever go wrong with dogs, add in pups and it's a winner. Dr. Grinch, aka Gavin the vet, has a tough time around the holidays. Bailey, the office manager, loves Christmas and goes all out baking. It's a fun, light hearted romance with a sweet message.

Love on the Edge of Reason: If you've read the Pine Harbour series you know Tom and Chloe. I can't remember which book but they are definitely familiar characters. Nothing like getting snowed in at Christmas, while pregnant and the man just wants to make things right. It's fun and sweet and sexier than the other contributing books to the set.

Three adorable stories of finding love while stuck in snowstorms.

Stranded in the Snow - The perfect scenario to turn enemies into lovers happens when Scott and Olivia are stranded together in a cabin during a snowstorm. The time spent together is time for truths to be revealed and admissions to be spoken.

A Christmas Rescue - Bailey works for the unhappiest veterinarian when it comes to the holiday. But once a storm hits and a dog needs their help the good doctor's family baggage is learned and by the end of the storm Bailey turns Dr. Grinch into one of Santa's elves while falling in love at the same time.

Love on the Edge - Tom and Chloe have always had a friendship with benefits, but when Chloe discloses she is pregnant can Tom make her realize that he has always been in love with her? When they are stuck in a house together waiting out a storm apologies are made, connections are established and the two are connected with more than just the unplanned pregnancy.

I have a difficult time reviewing (Not reading) boxed sets with multiple stories by multiple authors. It's hard because you are going to like some stories, some character's over others. So, I'm actually giving this a 3 1/2 to 4 stars. I wanted to read and review this because I've become a fan of Samantha Chase. I'm going to just focus on what I did like.

.1. I loved the Christmas theme throughout all the stories. I love Christmas stories.
2. Loved Samantha Chase's story, A Christmas Rescue, A Silver Bell Falls Holiday.
3. Loved Bailey and Dr, Gavin Maguire. The whole storyline/premise. The Grinchy, 'Hot" Veterinarian, with the valid reason for acting like a Grinch. And his perky, Christmas loving, office manager Bailey, plus the cute animals. I wanted Dr. Maguire's Frenchie, Cooper. The fact that he provided his Veterinary services for the pets belonging to the homeless, made me love him more.
4.. In Love On The Edge of Reason, by Zoe York, the fact that the heroine. Chloe was already pregnant with the hero's. Tom's baby at the beginning. A bit different. And how Tom was so determined to win her back.
5. Loved that Chloe was a 'bad girl' librarian with tattoos. And Tom was a ranger.

I received a free copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

Stranded In The Snow
Holiday Acres #2
Noelle Adams
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sweet, and hot in the freaking cold. This was almost funny the way the story was told. I’ve heard of enemies to lovers, but Olivia and Scott are a whole new level. Olivia Holiday is the ultimate hothead, she pretty much despises Scott Matheson on a whole new level. For Scott he can’t stand any of the Holiday girls, their father had deliberately cheated out the Matheson family into part of the family business.

While working on a shoot for an upcoming wedding at Holiday Acres, Scott has the “wonderful opportunity” to spend some quality time with Olivia. Yep, enter all the curse words, angry girl scowls and attitude. Olivia has to show him a beautiful little cottage, but it’s been snowing and you know what that means. Yep, caught in a snow storm, no electricity, blazing fire 🔥 and so much sexual chemistry that should have kept them warm in its own. These two are so clueless, but so creaking hot for each other.

But with all that hate, brings in vulnerability towards each other. To each other, Scott has always been a womaniser and Olivia, the uptight pretty girl, but on one night they will discover a new side to each other. In the heat of the night ( the story, not the song) Scott will open himself to Olivia, and Olivia will drop that guard to show her true feelings towards Scott. It seems both have been living a lie, and one night will open up a future that may or may not happen, when minutes after giving themselves so beautifully he breaks Olivia apart.

With one night, a world of abandon, hate, betrayal and a killer snow storm Olivia and Scott will come face to face with a new truth. Join in this beautiful journey of rediscovery and new beginnings if you open you mind and heart.

Christmas In The Snow
A Silver Bell Falls Holiday Novella
Samantha Chase
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While I’m normally a huge fan of Samantha Chase, this story just missed something for me. I didn’t mark down my star rating because I think it may have had to do with Dr Maguire, I disliked everything about him, yet I wanted to keep reading, and as I did, I saw a different side to Dr Grinch, and a special note: not everyone has that perfect life, never take someone for granted because you never know what’s happening/ happened to them with what life throws at you.

Bailey loves her job at the vet clinic where she works in a Silver Bell Falls. The people are wonderful, the pets make her smile and her co workers are great people. The same cannot be said for her boss. He is mean, nasty and has zero Christmas spirit. With much tension between Dr Gavin Maguire and Bailey at defcon 5, an explosion is about to occur.

As a snow storm takes over Silver Bell Falls, Gavin and bailey are caught up in the surgery with a pregnant dog, multiple puppies and no way for her to leave. Staying in with the Good Doctor is all wrong. But with a lot of snow stopping them from going anywhere a night in will change everything. The always bubbly Bailey will open up to her boss, but it is what he tells her that will change everything. Soon their one night turns to truths, anger, tears and well good old fashion lovin’. The Veterinarian knows how to treat an animal , he’s about to get a crash course on one woman who will forever change his outlook on everything from the people of Silver Bell Falls, treating of others and his bed manor… phew!

Love On The Edge Of Reason
Pine Harbour book 8
Zoe York
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ooh tough one this story. After 2 sweet Christmas stories, this one was a bit more gritty and I struggled a little continuing to the end, but alas I did. I guess not every story can be the same… this one just seemed so different.

Tom and Chloe had a deal. Great sex, no relationship, easy… Until she fell pregnant and she told Tom in a rage (that basically continued all the way through). Now she has run off on Christmas Eve, leaving the small town that she called home in a snow storm to sit in self pity.

Once Tom discovers where his Chloe has gone, he chases after her. He might not be father material, and it’s not something he imagined but he will find Chloe and make her see sense, that it was never just sex to him. Tom always loved Chloe but proving it is another thing.
Snow storms, indoor fires, no where to hide and a few snowball fights will open up a very difficult couple entering a whole new chapter.
