A wonderful read! I had read the 4th Gus McGuire book sometime ago and promised myself that I would read the 1st 3 books "soon". Unquiet Souls is the 1st book of this series and I am still kicking myself for not having read it sooner. But I have already loaded books 2 & 3 onto my kindle and am hoping it charges up quickly. The story itself was nice and twisty.... and the history was equally intriguing. It felt very real, although there may have been a very minor coincidence here and there, I didn't find them to be obvious at all. The pacing was nice and fast, just the way I like. But it was the characters I found to be so very wonderful. They all felt real and were well developed. I loved the team DI McGuire has assembled for himself and his leadership skills.

Gotta go see if my kindle has charged back up!
