Good book. A little slow at times but enjoyable. Two very stubborn characters. All in all I enjoyed it.

Annie and Joe are making a life together despite his parents disapproval. They believe Annie isn't good enough for Joe and is only after his money. Annie and Joe were planning to move overseas for Joe's career but Annie's mother is diagnosed with cancer so she feels she needs to stay nearby. When Annie doesn't consult Joe when making the decision to stay, he goes overseas alone. Heartbroken, Annie creates an app called Bad Bachelors that angers as many people as it seems to help. Two years later Joe is back and they have a chance to find love again if they can get over the past. Great second chance at love story.

According to Goodreads this book is book 3 in a series called, Bad Bachelors. But I haven’t read any of the other ones and was able to read it without confusion. I believe that this book could be considered a standalone. This book is about a woman who is heartbroken after her boyfriend leaves for another country leaving her behind with her sick mother, creates an app to help the woman of the city she lives in find safe men to date. I recently read an arc like this a couple weeks ago. I didn’t care for that one but I loved this book. The main character Annie is such a sweet and caring character. When she found out that her mother had cancer she knew immediately that she couldn’t leave the country with her boyfriend, soon to been fiance. I also enjoyed the character of Joe. Even thought he’s supposed to be some big tough CEO he’s super sweet and is nice to everyone. He never once treated anyone like they were lower than him. Other than the characters I loved the plot. Most books that have some steamy romance in it either have too much where there’s no plot or not enough. This one wasn’t that steamy and focused more on the plot than the sex. I would consider this book to be a suspenseful romance. Just because Annie is being stalked and threatened by this mysterious stranger who hates Bad Bachelors, her app/blog. There was only one problem I had with this book and its the main reason why I gave it only 4.5 stars instead of 5. This is going to be some what of a spoiler so please look away if you don’t want to know. Joe finds out who the stalker is and he doesn’t tell Annie and we don’t know if he ever went to the police or what punishment was given to him. Everything else in this book was great and was a really quick read for me. I would definitely be interested in reading the other books in this series or other books by this author.

This book was fine. I liked both Annie and Joseph and I was rooting for them. It’s the third book in a series and while it’s a standalone, there are hints about what happened in the other books and the characters overlap.

Having read the other books in this series I was on the fence about Annie already and then after reading the prologue I didn't think there was any way I'd be able to relate to her, let alone sympathize. I'm happy I was wrong. Ms. London managed to show the growth of two damaged but good people that needed time and distance to see the mistakes they'd made. Annie and Joe have become my favorite couple with my favorite story of the series. Well done!!

What an interesting idea for a story. London cleverly has her heroine create an application where women can warn others of the bad men they've encountered. Annie hasn't ever posted about Joe though. He might have inspired the app but he doesn't appear on that. And why is that? I had to wonder if Annie still cared too much to hurt him even though he'd hurt her so badly. Though Annie's intent is good there are serious problems with people using the app to be vindictive and sometimes dishonestly so.
There's more than just the app to cause problems in this relationship. Her attachment to her family and inability to include Joe in her decision making, his nightmare family who think she's not good enough, their youth and their goals - all cause lots of good tension to keep the book interesting.
I liked both Annie and Joe and really wanted to see them find their HEA. This book was fun to read.

Annie Maxwell made a life changing decision…without consulting with her significant other, so Joseph Preston continued on with their plans without her.
I enjoyed this storyline and the characters in this third book in the Bad Bachelors series. I love how Annie created the “Bad Bachelors” app, and kept it secret for so long. I did, however, get annoyed with the denial on Annie’s part for their breakup…she kept blaming him and expecting an apology, and that part bothered me. This had some good laugh-out-loud moments (the towel scene was hilarious), heartbreak, love, good extended characters, and some heat. I really liked Joseph…Annie…not so much. I did like the last couple chapters of the book and especially the epilogue. Overall, I enjoyed Bad Influence by Author Stefanie London and would recommend it.

Reuniting Love Bonds
This story has all the feels I want and desire in a HEA. I was wondering how Stefanie London was going to bring Annie's story to life, and I was not disappointed. Annie Maxwell, creator of the Bad Bachelor app was left devastated after her one and only love upped and left her for a once in a lifetime job opportunity. Annie never recovered and her way of seeking payback was in creating Bad Bachelor to ensure other women did not go through what she had experienced.
Joseph Preston made the catastrophic and shattering mistake of his life by abandoning the woman of his dreams at a time when she needed him in her corner. Joseph returns home to find Annie again and to find out she needs his business expertise. He realizes he cannot risk losing her again and does some serious soul searching to win her back. Reading Stefanie's words exposing Joseph's journey to face his fears to open up the vault to his heart and expose his true feelings was breathtaking to read.
I felt my heart ache as he fights with his inner turmoil to make everything right in their world together again. Joseph and Annie captured my heart and made me believe that love can indeed conquer all.

When I read the blurb for this book I was immediately drawn to it and was slightly let down by the end result. It started good but as story progressed I kept losing interest. I started skimming pages and counting them down till I was done. And Annie's hot and cold attitude (does she love Joseph or does she hate him) only made things worse. Also, maybe I'm the only one, but I really think that the way she acted in the prologue and completely ignored Joseph's feelings and opinions was horrible. I think she's at fault for the relationship ending then and I couldn't warm up to her for the rest of the book. Don't get me wrong, the book wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as I was hoping for it to be after reading the blurb. I liked this book but I didn't love it. It was good but it wasn't great. There's nothing I can point my finger at and say "that's the reason I didn't enjoy it more" (besides mildly disliking the heroine) but I still didn't love it. I guess it was nice enough, but I didn't have a 'wow-feeling' after finishing it.

So many layers with this story, and they all fit perfectly! The first two books in the series have led us to this- Annie and her complex story of how it all began. This isn't a girl got scorned let's have some revenge story that you would assume. The author peels back the layers of their story bit by bit, and in a realistic way. Sure, you have a billionaire boy- but you also have a protective Italian family mixed in there too, and if anything brings you down to reality, it's a protective Italian mama and papa bear. I think this was my favorite out of the series. Holding out hope that we will see some of the side characters' stories in the very near future!
Don't read this one first, you really need to read the first two in the series to get the full scope of everything. I'm sure my customers will love this one, as they have the other 2!

This is Annie and Joseph book, Annie is the founder of bad bachelor, a website that helps woman with dating. it all started with her then boyfriend and her breaking up and him moving to Singapore! That boyfriend was Joseph! Joseph ends up moving back to New York to start a different career and knowing he messed up leaving his then girlfriend behind! This book had everything! It has angst , drama, heartbreak, heartache, and definitely 🔥🔥!! This was actually my favorite of the series! I definitely recommend reading the whole series but you don't have to as each book is a standalone! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

This was a lot deeper/more mature than I thought it would be and that was a good thing! It grappled with the ethics of the kind of anonymous reviewing a site like Bad Bachelor could lead to and while I’m glad it didn’t go into more violence porn territory, it did address the realities of female-majority harassment online & doxing. Also, anytime NYC is remotely realistic in writing thrills me to no end, so yay for that! (Though I still someday wish for less Sex and the city rich protagonists).

LOVED this book!!! This is the final novel in the series and in it, we finally learn Annie's story and why she created Bad Bachelors. When the catalyst for Bad Bachelors returns to NYC, Annie is forced to face their past and take a hard look at her life. When a threat increases her stress level, she turns to Joseph, the last man she should ever read out to....
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and found I couldn't put it down. I loved learning Annie's story and meeting her family, while also learning about Joseph. While I didn't care for Annie much in the prior books, I found that I loved her in this book and felt invested in her story.
If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While it is part of a series, it is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Bad Influence is the final in the London’s Bad Bachelor series and the most emotional. This story really tugged at my heartstrings. I knew from reading the first two books in the series that a guy had really done a number on Annie and had left her broken. Then as I started reading, I realized the hero is the one who did that! Wow. I knew I was in for a roller coaster of a ride and London did not disappoint.
There’s a happy ending but it took a bit to get there. I love an angsty read and this one didn’t disappoint! The entire series was wrapped up nicely at the end.
I highly recommend Bad Influence and, although it’s a stand alone, I recommend starting at the beginning with Bad Bachelor. You won’t regret it and will be tearing through the pages and onto Bad Reputation. Then settle in for a heart tugging ending to the series.

Annie is the brains behind the Bad Bachelor website. It has brought a myriad of emotions to women around NYC and beyond. Some people are for the site and others want her to shut it down for ruining lives. Either way Annie knows it is helping most women navigate the dating world and she doesn’t want to take that away from them. She has firmly stayed out of the dating world since her relationship ended years ago when she chose her family over her relationship. Joseph is never far from her thoughts but that is as close as she wants him, until she knocks him into a pond by accident.
Joseph has returned home again after making a name for himself overseas. He hasn’t stopped thinking about Annie much over the years, as his ex fiancé can attest to. He is hoping to get a chance to have a good heart to heart with her and apologize for leaving her the way he did. While contemplating his thoughts at their spot by the pond he literally bumps into his past.
Annie and Joseph didn’t have a great conversational past and they both fully admit it. Now that they’ve gotten a second chance will they make the best of it this time or fall back into their old habits? Annie doesn’t want to fall back into her past, especially while she is being threatened by someone over the Bad Bachelors website but she needs Joseph’s help to find out who is behind the threats.
Bad Influence is the third book in the Bad Bachelor series and a great continuation of the story lines. I received an advance copy from Netgalley without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own. A 4 ½ star read, personally I found some slower parts to the story but overall a very good read. You don’t have to read in any order as each is a standalone but if you want background on the other 2 main couples and/or the website I would recommend starting with book one, Bad Bachelor.

The opening montage starts off with the lead heroine Anna trying to build up the courage to tell her boyfriend Joseph that she is not going to their months worth plan move to Singapore due to her mother's sudden cancer diagnosis. Ultimately taking it upon herself to make the decision to stay, Joseph felt left in the dark and due to the lack of communication and trust, he abruptly leaves to start his dream career in the faraway country.
Fast forward three years later, Anna is slowly picking up the broken pieces Joseph left behind and being inspired by the heartbreak, she launches Bad Bastards, an app that helps the women of New York avoid men like her ex and provides women a tool to help them navigate the dating world. As soon as Bad Bastards starts gathering media attention, anonymous threats letter and photos are being forwarded to Annie's email and home, and with Joseph sudden return, the only person she can rely on is him. Miscommunication, resentment and betrayal tugs and pulls Annie and Joseph in every which way, and once suppressed feeling quickly emerged.
With the blurb like that, I was immediately drawn to the series and was slightly let down by the end result. It started off in a high note but as the story progress, I found myself skimming through pages and counting down the minutes I would finally be done. Annie's back and forth switcheroo between loving and hating Joseph became redundant and how she completely ignored the hero's feelings in the prologue was a game changer (Side note, am I the only one that thought Anna was at fault for the relationship ending?) and that set the mood for me. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad and I applaud Stefanie London for taking the time to write this good book, but for me, it was mediocre at best. Nothing particularly stood out and it left me desiring more.

imagine an author trying to write 3 books and let them be standalone and also be connected. Impossible task? not for Stefanie London. Bad Bachelors is an amazing series and this the last " Bad Influence" has brought old friends back together and covered Annie and Joseph's story. Annie and Joseph have planned to move to Singapore when Joseph is offered a position that dreams are made of. Annie is all ready to go until her mother is diagnosed with breast cancer and she cannot go across the world from her. So she makes the decision and tells everyone is it not going, only one problem, she forgot to tell Joseph. Angry even after offering to send her home as often as he has to he makes the decision and leaves. Not long after he leaves she sees a photo of him getting Engaged, she is shattered, heartbroken. She starts a website anonymously called Bad Bachelors that she hopes will help women and also help her to get over her hurt. Three years go by and she runs into Joseph again in Central Park, he returns when he realizes that it was more the chance to get his father to finally be proud of him that what he wanted. She never stopped loving him but between his family not accepting her and the hurt they gave each other there is no chance for a new beginning. Not until her website is hacked and she is threatened and she ask Josephs help. You will love her family and understand why she stayed. They work together to try and find who is threatening her . This books has it all and I am Not giving any more away all I can say is Ms. London has written a wonderful story with a HEA. A keeper .

What an entertaining series this has been...with emotions riding high throughout the story, the pages couldn’t be turned fast enough. Ms London has a unique mastery of the human condition and translates that into relatable characters with dynamic personalities.
Joseph and Annie are characters you’ll loose your heart to...their journey from heartbreak to a HEA is one that is portrayed with such heartfelt depth it’s as if it all is unfolding with you as an active participant. The story is nicely tied up, ending the series leaving a feeling of warmth for the experience of spending time with these characters.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Although I enjoyed the first book in the series, I struggled with this one. I suspect that says more about me than it does about the series.

Bad Influence is book three in the Bad Bachelors series. It's a well written second chance story, but it was too angsty for my personal reading tastes. However, it's still getting five stars as our patrons will absolutely adore it.
