A sweet and sad story at times. Becca is still mourning the loss of her fiance, when their best friend Sean comes back from serving overseas. Both of them miss Nick so much, and find themselves bonding more and more. A good story, and one that makes a great summer read. Would recommend.
Thank you Jill Sanders for continuing this series. I enjoy reading books that show love and a bit of an adventure. Happy Reading!
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
Sweet book that I enjoyed. The characters are real and authentic. More importantly I enjoyed the happily ever after.
Beautiful story! Have not read many of Jill Sanders but I will now! She has a way of tugging at the readers hearts with her characters back stories. Will continue with her books for sure!
Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.
I didn't realize this was THE SEVENTH BOOK in a SERIES!!! I will not be reading this book as it will take me too long to catch up. Thank you for the opportunity to read this but wish you would have stated it's a series.

This was released in 2015 and I had not read any of the Pride series. I recently found Jill Sanders as an author and have enjoyed her works so I am not sure if this is a re-release or if it was put on NetGalley for recognition.
The story was well written but seemed young. Not in age but as a writer. However the story is #7 so I am not sure that that terminology is correct.

Return to Me was an absolutely wonderful read. Becca and Sean were childhood friends amd it was nice to see how their relationship grew once Sean returns home. I enjoyed this series and can't wait to read the next book in this series.
I want to live in Pride - Becca and Nick were destined to be together. He was the love of her life, or so she thought. Then tragedy strikes and Becca is left heartbroken and devastated. The road to recovery seems almost hopeless at times, but with love and support from the good people of Pride, she's looking forward to putting the past behind her. When Nick's best friend, Sean, returns home a year later, he brings with him an unexpected gift that has her reliving the past all over again.
RETURN TO ME is another amazing book by Jill Sanders. Ms. Sanders is a gifted storyteller and each of her books is just a little bit special. Return to Me is the small town story of friends to lovers Sean and Becca. Sean returns from Military service working Special Force's. His best friend, Nick killed in action. Becca was engaged to Nick and all three grew up together best friends.
Grab the tissues and settle in because once you start reading it is impossible to put down. This book really takes your emotions for a ride. Like any true loss you feeI the pain of losing someone you love, the guilt of first moving on and finally the happiness of finding love again. I absolutely loved this book. The story feels so real. It is well written and draws you into the characters and story so much so that you feel the pain as if it were happening to you or someone you love. Whether you have lost someone or know someone who has you will relate to this story and love it as much as I did.
Return To Me is a semi-short novel by Jill Sanders. In it, we meet Becca, a young woman who's long time boyfriend/fiance had been killed the prior year in the military. Their closest friend growing up, Sean, rounded out their trio and the book begins with Sean's homecoming. The discover that Becca's fiance had planned a honeymoon for them, including a cruise and a trip to the Bahamas.
Overall, it was sweet to see Sean and Becca's friendship reignite as they decided to take the trip together. If you are a fan of "Insta-Love" then you will appreciate this story. The characters are sweet and connect quickly - and I do mean quickly. From the day Sean returns to the final page in the book, maybe two weeks goes by, if that. I would have liked to follow their journey a little more but for the length of the book it gave us a neatly wrapped Happily Ever After.
A decent read. A bit sappy and predictable, but cute enough. The characters fall in love, it seems, almost overnight, and you just know what's coming at the end.
This story has sex but only mild cursing (no f-bombs) so use your own discretion when reading if you have an issue with sex in books. Although this is part of a much larger series, you do not have to read those first to enjoy this one - it totally stands alone.
I honestly didn't know how I was going to feel about Becca and Sean getting together because of Becca's undeniable devotion to Nick (and Sean's too), but I loved the way that Ms. Sanders made it work. Although they had chemistry and obvious friendship-love from the start, their romantic relationship grew organically and wasn't rushed or unbelievable which was great. I also liked the way that the drama in their relationship played out. ***SLIGHT SPOILERS TO THE END OF PARAGRAPH*** I was so afraid that Nick's memory was going to be the cause of the 'inevitable romance novel drama' that would develop between Sean and Becca, but Ms Sanders took it a totally different direction and didn't make them question their feelings or each other and I really, really loved that.
This book also had the bonus of being like a trip to the tropics. A lot of people would call this a beach read, but to me this is the perfect winter read. As the weather turns colder there is nothing like slipping under a fuzzy blanket and reading about likable characters having adventures in much warmer climates.
I would recommend this to fans of the Pride series or to anyone who enjoys an emotional but really entertaining and easy read.
Quite an enjoyable read. Read it in one sitting and I would recommend it!

Return to Me is filled with so much heartwarming moments that you can't help but to fall in love with Becca and Sean. Becca and Sean are childhood friends with one common factor that would be Nick. They both are trying to heal after losing him. When his surprise comes to life for Becca, you can't help but hope that it is what Sean and Becca need most. I love the chemistry between Becca and Sean. You see it in the little ways that there is more and as you watch it grow you can't help but smile. This book is so good. I couldn't put it down if I tried.
"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!
3.5
Sean and Becca’s story is a sweet one! There is no doubt even from the beginning where this relationship is headed but due to the circumstances there is a realistic hesitancy in going there. The people of Pride seem to know more about what’s happening than the actual couple do... small towns.
Becca is very sheltered. She has had one boyfriend, never left town, works for her sister’s bakery. She likes to help with the baking but she cannot cook herself regular meals. Baking is such a precise art that is seems silly this would be the case. I guess maybe a lot of this is due to losing Nick and her life stalling. Sean was a sweetheart.
There was a bit of drama, growth, and sizzle. Something for everyone. This is a series but can be read as a stand alone. First book by this author, would recommend.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and Kobo Writing Life for a copy in exchange for a review.
Becca and Nick were young and in love with plans to get married. before the wedding could take place, Nick was killed while serving his country. How do you move on from losing your one true love? This is the first book in the series that I have read and I truly enjoyed it. When Sean (Nicks best friend) comes home from service, he admits to himself that he has always had a crush on Becca but didn't pursue it due to his respect for his best friend. Becca and Sean find themselves spending time together and realize there are feelings on both sides.
This is a great book and I look forward to trying the rest of the series from the beginning. I highly recommend this book.
I was given an advanced copy for an honest review in return.
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
Parts of this book were so sad as both Sean and Becca were grieving after Nick's death, and yet there is the start of a new love.
I really enjoyed the description of their cruise and their time in Nassau, having taken a cruise there, I had fun reliving the trip, and realizing that we only touched the surface with our sightseeing! May have to take another cruise!
So much drama and intense scenes after Sean and Ronny are lost at sea but glad there is a happy ending for that - and a great HEA. I also liked that both Sean and Becca finally figured out what they wanted to do for their careers and started pursuing that dream.
