This book is a great encouragement and blessing for any married woman. First, read every word including the foreword. Next commit to being all in. Memorizing the verses doing some of the challenges, writing, thinking, going deep and engaging. You may not be able to do all the challenges but there is enough variety that anyone can find something even if you have to step out of your comfort zone a little.
The book is set over four weeks with two bonus weeks. The weeks run for five days plus weekend reflections, a time to look back at the week, answer a few questions and note your progress. The weekly challenges are given on day one. Each day you pray, meditate, dwell, breathe and reflect. It’s guided and encouraging.
This is a book that you can come back to again and again. The challenges can continue even after you’ve completed the book. You’all not only bless your husband but yourself as well.

”Sometimes, choosing to love your husband is hard. Whether you've been married one year or 31 years, chances are he's done things that have frustrated you, angered you, hurt you, or flabbergasted you. But after arguing over how to load the dishwasher yet again, you might be wondering how you can show him that you really do love him.”
Bless Your Husband is a devotional perfect for any married or even engaged Christian woman. This book will help you pray for your husband, bless your husband and honor Jesus by honoring your marriage. The beauty of this book is that it will help you strengthen your marriage without making you a doormat in the process. The book is designed to improve both of your lives and marriage.
Angela Milla lays out a daily process of praying for and blessing your spouse. There is an array of options if one is not to your liking. Keep your marriage alive and follow some or all of the ideas provided for you so wonderfully in this book. I highly recommend it! It would make a perfect Christmas, wedding or birthday present as well!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. The views given are my own. #NetGalley #BlessYourHusband #BethanyHouse
I found this book really full of helpful thought-provoking tips for focusing not only on your husband and your family but yourself and your own state of mind. I don't think you could fail to improve your relationship by following the stages of this book. Really sweet.
Great book for someone who is trying to strengthen there relationship with your husband!
I do wish I could have my husband read something similar while I am reading this, but it did give me some sweet ideas. A few of the ideas I completely skipped because I knew they wouldn't mean anything to my husband. However, it did motivate me to think of some other things on my own. Perhaps I do take him for granted sometimes...
I only read a few pages each day.
I highly recommend this book!
This is a book that has different things to do weekly that will help keep your marriage from becoming stale. It is very well written and easy to understand. You don't have to follow the weeks in order, mix them up like you want them. Remember the most important thing in a marriage is putting God first. Thank you Bethany House Bethany House Publishers via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.
Marriage books aren't just for folks with troubled marriages. In fact, I'd argue that they are more of a preventative so that you don't get to that state. This book is divided into several shorter periods (you can do each over a week) with challenges a specific focus. There are several different options, and you can pick and choose what works best for your situation. The crux of it is recentering your focus and remembering to put energy into keeping your marriage alive. And remember...what goes around comes around. Focus on him; he'll focus on you.
