I requested this title back before my blogging break. I have ended up with a number of titles that are overwhelming to catch up on now I am back from my blogging break. I am regretfully not going to be reading and reviewing this title, but now I am back from my blogging break, I am looking forward to reading and reviewing some of your future titles. Thank you so much for the opportunity and apologies.

This is a re-release of a 1998 romance novel. I received a copy of this from the publisher in exchange for my honest review--the thoughts are my own.

Elizabeth is on the Titanic, making her way to New York. She will be marrying someone her parents want her to marry and not going to the college she wants to attend--they want her to get married, start a family, and live a 'respectable' life. But Elizabeth wants more. She falls in love with Maxwell during the voyage, and her parents are livid despite his wealthy status.

Then the iceberg happens, and she's got to fight to live her life.

Hoh's storytelling is on point here, and she does great things with juxtaposing a wealthy life with one of those of third class. And it's a great opening for a conversation or introduction to more study.
