Interesting mix of history, fantasy, and romance.

Gideon finds out he has a special talent he inherited from his ancestors and his whole world is turned upside down by the new widow who he vows to keep her safe as she becomes in the political turmoil that killer her husband. A captivating book with action, adventure and romance with a little bit of their special gifts thrown into the mix. This is my honest opinions after I voluntarily read a copy of this book that was provided to me with no requirements for a review.
